7th Day of Pesach!

Mood::iconnorwayunimpressedplz:

Wow! Tonight's the last night. Sometimes we stop following the dietary laws on the last night. And, don't bother with the last day.:iconseychelles-plz:Might do that this time. Don't know. It gets hard to keep it up. Yesterday, I saw we had waffles, and thought to myself 'why didn't I have those yet?' 'Oh! That's right...':iconkikuplz:I both love and hate the holiday. The symbolisms and the food we only get to have once a year, I love. It's hard to omit the other stuff though.:iconlietplz:

I've been hiccuping all day.:iconchibifinlandplz:It sounds funny, but it's somewhat painful. And kind of hard to do things like the dishes and laundry, while you're having a fit of it.:iconromanoplz:I started up my walking again. I've just felt very busy for a while, and thought it would ease my stress a little.:iconheroamericaplz:I love walking, even when it's raining. Which is what it's doing out today. It's cold too. Yesterday, I think, was really warm and sunny. According to the forecast we're still going to be cold for a few days. Yay!:iconyaykumajiroplz:
I made English toffee matzah just before the holiday. (Top pic.) It's matzah, a layer of caramel, a layer of chocolate, and walnuts sprinkled on top. No matter what, everytime I make it, the caramel seeps through the matzah and makes the layer underneath.:iconwthplz:Maybe I stir it too much or something.:hmm:After you cook it, it's refrigerated and broken up. Really awesome tasting, even if you screw up a bit.:iconchibicanadaplz:Made some matzah brei for yesterday's brunch. (Bottom pic.) I think it came out better than when I did it last year. I remembered to soak the matzah first this time.:iconchibinitalyplz:It's matzah, eggs, onions, garlic, and a little pepper and salt all fried together. Matzah brei just means fried matzah. There's lots of other variations on it too. Including some sweet ones.

Looked at some Mongolian recipes online yesterday. There's not many.:iconohboyamericaplz:Apple crumble, Mongolian chicken, and peanut butter banana bread. I thought these didn't sound like stuff they would make (aside from the chicken), but they had the names in Mongolian and I looked them up. They're legit. Interesting, I'll try them eventually.:iconchibiaustriaplz:Today, if I have time, I'll look at Egyptian recipes online. I'm looking at the cuisines we didn't really have much of, first. Then, I'll start from the beginning of the list again, and look online.

Started posting character faces from my 1st character sheet.:icondenmarkplz:These characters are from my story, Alliance. There'll be 6 per sheet. Here's Max Leiche's. I really like how he came out. It might not be perfect, but it's good to me.:iconchibiamericaplz:He's a skeleton, so it was interesting drawing his skull. Here's Ravel Akuma's. I'm not sure if I like the way he came out. I really liked the first drawing I did of him. But, I was experimenting a little with on this one. As I said in the artist's comments, their names have a special meaning behind them. Leiche means corpse in German. While Max means 'the greatest'. I found it funny that it ended up being the 'greatest corpse'.:lmao:With Ravel I was half thinking about the composer. Akuma means devil or demon in Japanese. He's constantly being mistaken for a devil in the story, so it fits.:iconeestiplz:I didn't know at the time, when I named them, that the names would fit the characters so well. It's very interesting to me. I've already gotten faves on these 2 drawings and the 2 pics. And, even a comment on one!:iconfrancisplz:

Didn't go to services, because Mom's still not feeling very well.:iconamericasadchibiplz:Found some new songs, so look for those in upcoming posts!:la:Played the Sims 2. Apparently, Thailand is having a hard time becoming a toddler. Japan doesn't look anything like his parents.:iconnataliaplz:I might see if I can mess with his appearance a bit. Taiwan and HK want to have more babies. They're having a hard time already with 2 kids.:iconchibichinaplz:Should be interesting if I throw another into the mix though.:iconenglandispervyplz:If I do, it'll be nice if it's a girl this time.

deviantART faves: Gaia Commission: iHidden Isaac Tresfore The all about Me MEME I did not make these! First, a really cool looking Gaia avatar painting. Second, a drawing of an artist's oc. He's kind of cool looking. Third, an interesting meme all about the artist who fills it out. Not sure if I'll get around to it.
