6th Day of Sukkot

Mood::iconeestiplz:

Crazy that the holiday's almost over. And, the next holiday, Simchat Torah, is right after it on Friday. It marks the completion of the annual cycle of parshas (or weekly Torah portions). We read both the last bit of Deuteronomy and the beginning of Genesis, starting the whole thing over again. Kind of nice. It's a day to celebrate the Torah. The service is usually a lot of fun. People sing and dance in the synagogue with the Torahs, and the portion is read. It's kind of fun.:iconfrancisplz:I think there was lots of candy too.

I watched One Missed Call the movie on Sunday. I've seen it before, but it's been a while. Plus, it was actually On Demand on our TV. That was interesting to watch it on a bigger screen, and better speakers. I think the drama's better.:icontinoplz:I liked the movie, but it doesn't have the same feel. Like things were rushed at the end of it. I had to skip a couple of episodes today, because they weren't posted. Next week's the finale. I think I've seen like maybe another movie in the franchise with the same story. Because I'm remembering a lot of this. I don't know. Maybe I watched it a while back without realizing?:iconsleepygreeceplz:It's still really good.
In Phi Brain, a kind of annoying character, named Cubic or Edison, was introduced. He's invented a lot of robots, and thinks that geniuses should spend their time more wisely with experiments and math, rather than with puzzles. He puts an armband on Kaito that stops a person's ability to solve puzzles. To trick him into helping him with experiments. In the end, the other armband he has beats it out and he's able to solve the puzzle. This one was about a magic number puzzle. If you couldn't figure it out using the park for clues and under the time limit, the whole city would explode. A lot of bombs were placed around them. He figured it all out at the last second. The 'treasure' for this puzzle was the sunset in the pic.

Played my clarinet. Did pretty well this time. Only a few mistakes.:iconchibipolandplz:Played some Klezmer tunes and Mozart.
In En Passant, Daidouji's now the White Bishop, Riu's the White Queen, Tomoda (Riu's older bro) is the White Rook, Arima's the White Knight, and Kujou's the White King. Daidouji's grandfather (who for some reason, Kujou knows too) asked all 5 of them to participate in the throne succession game to determine the king of dark square. They'll have to battle their dark square opponents. They've already met 3 of them. Up until 2 years ago, Kujou had a relatively normal life at light square, besides the fact he had no parents. But, one day, he was called for by a father he didn't know he had. His father asked him to go to dark square. No one knows what happened to him while he was there. He looked terrible when he came back. He felt he could never be loved, and clung to an old charcoal grill. (Not sure if his father gave it to him, or something.) He keeps the key that allows you to go to and from black square in the grill. (Light square's like the normal world. Dark square's like the world where people with superhuman abilities reside. That's all I know about it so far.) This is just getting really interesting! Fun too!
