I'm feeling a lot better than I was last night and this morning. Just had a weird pain in my gut, and for some reason it made me think a little negatively. But, I'm doing much better! We were, yet again, below normal temps today. It looked gloomy out. 


I posted a pic on deviantART: More Palms It's still from when we went to Veteran's park at the pier. I already got 2 people fave it. Another person faved the pelican pic. Kind of cool! I thought no one would fave them. I don't think they're the best pics. Then, I worked on a new character's profile, Rakesh, for Alliance. I spent most of the time trying to come up with a good last name. I like to research a bit, and have some sort of meaning to my names. They're not random usually. Also, depending on where I think a character might come from, I try to make it authentic. And, when I get to it, I try to make it from a real place. 

In Dear, it was the start of another story. In their world, there are 2 continents: one where demons live, the other where the humans live. The demons have a demon lord, who humans try to defeat and call themselves heroes. Demons can take the form of humans or animals. If they're human-form demons they are born with a tattoo somewhere on their body, so other demons know. When with humans they try to conceal it. Komomo is an extremely poor hero, and Subaru is her companion who travels with her. (They're in the pic.) When Komomo hears there's a reward for the capture of a group of thieves, she takes it instantly. She's a magic-wielding human. People used to make fun of her when she was a kid. They find the hideout of the Rezi demon thieves. Subaru fights with his Lycanthrope arm, which only the demon lord is supposed to possess. He tells him he was their lord, but is currently helping the 'nameless' hero. He keeps telling her that he loves her. All he asks from her is to allow him to help, and it's ok if she becomes dependent on him. When he's near a lycanthrope, his arm shakes. Komomo says they should set out on a journey to find the lycanthrope, and ask them if they can help with his body rejecting the arm.

I finished 3 sentences, but 1 was really odd. It took a while, and it still needs a little work. But, I'll go back to it after I finish the whole thing, like a couple of other sentences. Sometimes it's best to leave it and come back fresh. 網にサラダ油をひいて使用すると、こびりつきにくくなります。(Ami ni saradayu wo hiite shiyousuru to, kobiritsuki niku ku narimasu.) Using the salad oil on the network, the meat sticks to a section. (Salad oil is what they say instead of vegetable oil.) Still sounds funny. Not only that, but I couldn't find some of the meanings in my dictionary, and broke the words up more. 使用中の注意. (Shiyouchuu no chuui.) During use warning, or middle warning. 使用中は製品が大変熱くなります。(Shiyouchuu ha seihin ga taihen netsu ku narimasu.) During use product will become very hot. 

In Naruto Shippuden, after Tsunade gave a long emotional speech, the elders finally approved of giving Naruto and his generation a chance against Pain. This was also after she told them they lack the power to believe. After Tsunade tells the messenger frog to relay everything back to Naruto, the frog's killed before he had a chance by Danzo. Tsunade summons her slug, Katsuyu, and orders it to separate, heal and attach to every villager. Iruka was about to be killed by Pain, but Kakashi saved him. Sakura takes charge of the hospital while it's overflowing with the injured.

I played 1066. It's strategy game based on the Battle of Hastings. It has the Vikings, the Normans, and the English fighting against each other. You start with the Vikings vs. the English. You move your troops around, attack, and taunt. I won the first battle, but got tired of it. Might go back to it. 

I worked more on Zero's arms and hands. His wrists still look a little too thin. Also, I'm taking my time with the hands, since I seem to have problems drawing hands. The outline shape of them looks good. 

Next, we went to the Hadassah potluck/meeting/Mahjong game. Mom brought a queso with some tortilla chips. She used to make it all the time in Texas, and while I grew up she's made it every once in a while. It's been a long time though. It's Velveeta, chunky salsa, and vegetarian refried beans all heated in the microwave until the cheese melts. (Just about the only thing Velveeta is good in, or is edible to me.) Very good stuff! It was a hit! The other stuff was good, except a rice with vegetables thing. It was just bizarre. The meeting was all about the Mahj event coming up in September. While everyone but me and someone who hates Mahj too, played Mahj, we talked again. She has to have everything spelled out for her and doesn't 'get' people. Kind of strange, but nice person.

Sung by the Kaito Vocaloid. In English: I Wish They'd Just Die. It doesn't have any murderous intent. It's about things that are annoying, and wishing them away. Things he mentions: a fly flies into your mouth as if it has been waiting for the moment you started to yawn; missing a show because a game went overtime; never getting that last drop out of a soda can; hitting your funny bone; noise of construction from next door, when you're sleeping; the deadline was for today but you thought it was for tomorrow. One of my fave songs, and I agree I wish they'd go away too! 





Well, today I felt a lot better! I also got everything I wanted and need done. Feels good! Oh, and oddly it's still really nice out. (Except for the strong winds, not bad.) They said it would be cold and rainy. I also got my blood test back from the draw that was done yesterday. It was all normal. Wahoo! I edited and wrote more of chapter 10. Also, played my clarinet. Got up to A Hard Day's Night. The only one that was a bit fun today was Strawberry Fields Forever. 

In Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, it was Hina Matsuri or Girls' Day. Sensei sees it's just an accumulation of useless trinkets, and without realizing it people have accumulated them over their lives. Kiri said there are ways to have an excess amount of ornaments without real life, particularly with avatars online. She makes one for him, and it looks really funny. Next, was an April Fool's Day chapter. Chie decided to joke about going on maternity leave. Everyone believed her, because she doesn't joke that often. So, they give her a bunch of gifts, and when Sensei finds out he's surprised it wasn't true. Saying when people usually don't joke, and suddenly decide to do one, people take them seriously.

Finished a sentence on the Grill's manual, and I'm still working on a very long one. テーブルが焦げる恐れがあります。(Teeburu ga shougeru osore ga arimasu.) It will burn the table. 

In Kuroshitsuji, a special camera that a famous scientist and inventor had in his collection, was the final camera he used. Supposedly, if you take a picture of someone, the thing most important to that person might also be revealed in that photograph. Since they're in the late 1800's, the cameras take 10 seconds to take a photo. Plus, you have to be absolutely still in it. They test it on Finny. When the photo came out, it showed a bird next to his head. But, it was one that he had accidentally killed. The thing that's reflected in photo is actually something that doesn't belong in this world or is dead. Ciel wants to see what will show up if you take a photo of someone who already doesn't belong in this world, particularly Sebastian. The servants try to take the pic, but Sebastian want stay still for 10 seconds. Then, while the servants are trying to move Pluto, he breathes fire at them. Sebastian gets distracted by the black stray cat, and starts playing with it. Pluto immediately gets jealous, turns into his naked human form, and begs for attention from him. (Sounds so wrong. ) I just realized, Finny has like super-human strength. They got his pic once, then Pluto burned it. Next time it came out. Sebastian, Ciel, and Pluto were in the pic when it was taken. But, nothing else is there. 

I played Transylmania 2. It's a cute game about a vampire who's teddy bear was stolen by the villagers. He has to find it with the clues he gathers. 

I worked more on Zero's anatomy. His torso's in proportion now. Before, it looked so off. I'm actually improving a lot on it. He might not turn out as bad as I had thought. Next, I have to work on his arms and legs. I'm trying to be more detailed and precise with his anatomy, so I get more practice of what it's supposed to look like. After I'm finally finished drawing him (which might be a while ) I still have to draw Loathe in the background with his wings spread out and his mouth open. This whole thing might take a while, but I think it will be better than my previous drawings, so that's what's important.

Tonight's the start of Shavuot. Where we celebrate the giving of the Torah. A lot of people study Torah all night, and eat dairy foods. It's a nice holiday. I won't be going to the service and I think the study tonight, since Mom isn't sure if I'm contagious or not. They'll be kids there, too. That's ok, I can have my own thing for it.

Jiraiya's Theme

On the first Naruto soundtrack. Kind of a funny song, just like he is. :D I love the taiko drums and the sound of the shishi odoshi (or 'deer chasers'). Sort of a traditional feel to it. I'm going to add more songs to my playlist, starting to get tired of the ones I have playing over and over. (I'll try to some how make the font for this new version bigger, but not as big as their large. Normal seems a bit small?) I'm falling a lot more normal and energized than I have been lately. Makes me happy! I wrote some more of Chapter 8, which I'm still on Zero's story. He seems to be becoming a very interesting character. A bit of an experiment too. ;) I'll probably bring it back to the present soon. I think there isn't going to be much left of this chapter. Hopefully people will like this one. Also, I finally got a chance to play my clarinet! It's been a while. It wasn't too bad considering. It'll probably take me a short time to get back to what I was at before. After that, I can improve it more if I keep it up. I'll be even better if I can either replace a screw or the ligature itself. (Doesn't hold reed too still anymore, since the screw is stripped.) Oh, and interesting thing is I have to get a sax ligature if I buy a new one. O.O My clarinet's weird that way.

The class visits a beach side boarding school that isn't completed yet. Sensei was asked to chaperon them, even though it was summer vacation. He calls the school, the School of Breaking Point. All the workers there are being pushed to their 'breaking' or 'boiling' point. The place is actually about to fall apart because of them. (Building reaching it's 'breaking' point. :P) Then he visits the town and finds out everyone's about to snap there, he starts naming the town after it too. I love how they debate things in this series. ^_^ 


Nozomu Itoshiki (sensei) has an older brother who's a doctor named Mikoto. Doctor's are also called sensei, so he get's confused when one of his brother's students ask about him. When put a certain way, his kanji means Death. So, Kafuka (she asked about Nozomu) starts calling him Dr. Death. O.O When it's normal, it means life. Sensei is going to have an arranged marriage meeting in his hometown, so he leaves for a while. Chiri, says she must stop it, and all the other girls join her at the Itoshiki mansion. They're all surprised at how wealthy his family is. They have a butler named Tokita, who shows them around. When they see sensei, he's in totally different attire (very casual shorts and t- shirt. He normally wears a yukata.) and has gelled his hair. He has 3 older brothers named Mikoto, Kei, and Enishi. Also, has a younger sister named Rin who's 17 and is a master in the Itoshiki School of Flower Arrangement with 3,000 students.

I finished breaking down the kanji from last time, and compared them together. The last bit of the breakdown was: 夕 or yuu- night or evening. After comparing the whole thing, it didn't make a whole lot of sense. So, it was nice to review those kanji, which was basically all that was good for. I'm thinking of doing one more complex one, thinking maybe they think of it a bit differently. We'll see. Then, I found the meaning to one of the higher level kanji on my list. (Also, a way to double check to see if I have it in my vocab list.) 線 or sen- line (also telephone, railway), wire, beam. Next I looked at the medical vocab worksheet. I have a pain in my ________. is _________が痛いです。My _____itches. is ______が痒いです。頭 or atama- head. 目 or me- eyes. 瞼 or mabuta- eyelid. 歯 or ha- teeth. 耳 or mimi- ears. 耳たぶ or mimitabu- ear lobe. 鼻 or hana- nose. (Yes, it's the same as for flower.) 胸 or mune- chest or breast. 背中 or senaka- back. I know most of these, but it's good to go over them. :D 

In Kuroshitsuji or Black Butler, it was the 'rat' problem that was in the manga. They had a mouse problem in the mansion, and the 'rats' or Italian Mafia kidnapped Ciel. The anime had Sebastian's fight with the mafia look even cooler. The pic is when he's asking them for info on their boss. They give it to him thinking he'll let them live, but he jumps off the car and they fall to their deaths. O.O 

I played an extremely addicting game called Stonepunk. You have to launch the caveman as high and as far as you can in his makeshift 'stone age' car. As you go there's upgrades on the launcher, the car, how bouncy you can be, etc. The upgrades to the car are just a Pterodactyl, a hamster, and/ or a turtle strapped to it. One helps you go higher, one makes you go faster on the ground, and the other helps you go faster through water. I went so high in it, I was in space. O.O I crashed into meteors and UFO's up there. There were tripping when they made this game. :P

I also drew more of Gun. (My original character from Alliance.) Filled out his body a bit more, since his arms looked skinnier than what his bones should be. O.O I also made them a bit longer, made a better flame in the palm of his hand, drew out parts of his shoes, and inked his head. I might go over it again tomorrow. Then, it'll be time to draw his clothes, ink that and the rest of him, then color it. Shouldn't take me long.

Sayonara

By Orange Range. Kind of a sad song. It's about a guy who died tragically, and how he watches over his girlfriend. At the end, he's happy to know that she'll always love him and never forget him. He smiles when she's walking with her new boyfriend. Then he says Sayonara and disappears. :'( I wrote out more of my characters' personalities. Stopped at Kenta's description. I'm also thinking of writing out the relations each character has had with each other- just for me to keep things clear. :P I might write out the descriptions of the buildings too. This is turning out to be really fun! :D

I started a new manga called Kuroshitsuji or Black Butler. I've heard about it as an anime, but I wanted to test it out with the manga. It's really good so far! I thought I would hate it or something. It's set in England. The butler is Sebastian Michaels. (The guy in the pic.) He seems to be too talented as a butler. Being able to do everything perfectly. There's been hints that he might not be human. O.O The boy he looks after is Ciel Phantomhive. He's the head of the family, yet he's only 12. Still don't know much about him. They have a gardener named Finnian, a maid named Maylene, and a chef named Bard. They're all extremely clumsy, and Sebastian is always cleaning up after them. The house steward, Tanaka, is just bizarre. I might see what the anime's like eventually. :D

I tried to watch the next episode of Gintama. The one before that said to be continued next time. There wasn't a good sub, or even raw of it. So, I moved on. (They've done this with previous episodes, kind of annoying.) The next one was odd. About a boy who observed Madao for his summer observation journal. (Madao- the guy who's always down on his luck. Real name is Hasegawa.) It wasn't as funny as it usually is. Although, I have to hand it to them, they can turn anything into being serious or sad. Even if it's a ho- hum episode, they seem to still do really will with the story. Next one is about when Gintoki was with the Joi during the war against Amanto. That should be awesome! He used to be called the white devil. O.O

I finished with Sahara's anatomy. She seems to look a bit better than her brother, at least, I think so. I added her school uniform and inked everything. Next time I'll probably use white out on a couple of areas that my pen messed up on. Then, I'll color it. Lastly, I'll be able to post it. These last bits won't take long, so look forward to it! :D

Tomorrow is Tu B'Shevat. It's a harvest holiday, that's like a tree New Year's. We're supposed to have like 15 different fruits and nuts. Each are divided into 4 categories, representing the seasons. I love this holiday for some reason. XD There's also an interesting metaphor where if a fruit producing tree were to be chopped down in the midst of war, it would be as though you murdered someone. O.O So, they're very special. Also, we're supposed to have 4 different shades of wine (or juice in my case) representing the seasons.

Ai (Chuuseishin)

Or Love (Loyalty) from the Excel Saga soundtrack by Milk. One of my faves for opening songs. The whole anime's hilarious, random, and a bit gory. XD The main character's name is (obviously) Excel. She joins Across- which is a 'secret' organization bent on world domination since they believe the world is corrupt. Il Palazzo is the leader, while Excel and Hyatt are officers. Excel is constantly being killed off, although her partner Hyatt dies every few minutes. It seemed if she breathed wrong, she'd die. They were always brought back to life, by a 'celestial being'. Excel's always trying to please Il Palazzo. She travels the world with Hyatt and there's plenty of parodies throughout. The last episode was a bit contraversial. It was called 'Going too Far'. It was so mature that it wasn't shown on TV. (They made it this way, for some reason.) The only way you could see it was in a bonus feature on the DVD. I watched it, and it's just crazy! Mostly lots of blood everywhere and making fun of everything that comes their way. (Including, politically incorrect things.) It was like the anime was on even more crack than before. :P Anyways, this song is about what love really means. Excel says she's destined to never be loved. And that her loyalty to Il Palazzo, some might say, is really deep love.

I was sick again. Yay! ^_^" I've been fighting off the urge to throw up all day. Sorry, if that's too graphic for people. ;P I started my online application for Disability Insurance. I'm surprised at how eligible I am. Bipolar II, Menorrhagia (I got diagnosed this when I had a 8 month period- I was basically hemorrhaging everyday of it. I'm a lot better after having an IUD placed, but I still have problems with the bleeding.), and pulmonary embolisms (blood clots that were in my lungs.). Plus, since my mom already gets disability insurance and I'm still dependent on her, I'm even more eligible. Another point is I'll have most of that stuff for the rest of my life, so that's another qualifier. Another one is if you've been diagnosed with some of these things before you turned 22. (Well, technically they thought my Bipolar was just Depression. So, they diagnosed me with that long before I was 22.) I read something about if you have this many qualifiers, you might be able to get extra. I'm not keeping my hopes up though. ;) I didn't think there would even be the possibility of this.

I posted 2 of my pictures from the trip on deviantART, crunchyroll, photobucket, and Flickr. One of them has already been faved 3 times on deviantART! O.O I'm sorry, but that's a lot to me. Especially, since those were all during the first hour after posting. They seem to all like the 'Real or Fake' one. Hopefully, people will like the others. I'm always surprised at what gets faved and what doesn't.

O.O 昼間 or hiruma- daytime. 昼休み or hiruyasumi- lunch break. 拾う or hirou- to pick up or find. 葉 or ha- leaf. 場合 or baai- case or situation. 倍 or bai- double or twice. (The baai and bai sound very similar too. -_-) 拝見 or haiken- (polite) seeing or looking at. 歯医者 or haisha- dentist. (Kind of easy to tell since 歯 or ha is at the beginning of the kanji. 歯 means tooth.) ばかり or bakari- about, only, merely, or nothing but. 運ぶ or hakobu- to carry. 始める or hajimeru- to begin. 筈 or hazu- should do or ought to do.

I finished trying to figure out the anatomy of Shadow. Then I drew his clothes. Finished coloring his hair, which is multi- colored. Wahoo! Fun with my new pencils! XD Also, colored his eyes, mouth, and skin. I'll color more of it tomorrow. I think he's turning out much better than I thought he would. I still need a bit more practice at anatomy, but I'll have a lot more 'opportunities' coming up. XD So, I'll post him soon. I still say it will be before the end of the week. Maybe in the next couple of days. ;) Somehow, drawing seems to cheer me up a bit. :D

Itachi's Theme

On the Naruto soundtrack. Oddly, I found out it's the theme from Shaft called Thunder Clouds by the Ventures. That's hilarious that they used it for Itachi's theme. He is a pretty awesome character, but really? XD Also it said that the Ventures still have concert tours in Japan. Hard to find info on it. :( I knew it sounded like a late 60's to early 70's type song. Sounded so familiar too! My contacts just wouldn't stick to my eyes anymore, so I threw them out. Afterwards, I looked at the calendar and noticed I had been using them for exactly a month. O.O I've never done that before. It's no wonder during that last week or so they were fuzzy. I wrote more. It's funny, after not writing for a bit, I had a somewhat hard time getting started. But, towards the end, I was really getting into it. I guess I'm going to be writing like crazy tomorrow. :D

This episode was about if Sougo really is a good guy. It started with a girl named Kirie stabbing him. Looked like it was in the gut, and blood was gushing out, but she really just stabbed his huge Tobasco sauce bottle. :P It was out of revenge for him killing her father. He takes her to Gintoki and gives them money to figure out what to do with her. Her father was killed during a bloody fight between the Anti- Foreigner Faction and the Shinsengumi. (Her father wasn't a part of either.) This incident happened at an inn. Sougo is trying to remember that day and starts to research it. He comes to the conclusion that someone other than Kamiyama and him survived the fight. Kagura goes to confront Sougo. Gintoki and Shinpachi confront Kamiyama. As Sougo's talking, he realizes that Kirie's father was already dead when they found him. Just then, Kirie, Kagura, and Sougo are captured by the only other survivor from the Anti- Foreigner Faction and his men.

I played a game where you try to guess where a star is in a puzzle. Easy at first, then it got pretty hard. The only one's I couldn't solve were 2 or 3 of the stages out of like 20. It was interesting, but some of the stages were annoying. I also drew more of Shadow. (My main character for Alliance.) I made him shorter, a bit skinnier, and figured out a way to better gauge how to draw his arms. That's kind of hard sometimes. I want him to be waving at people, and I got pretty close. I should have started with his skeletons, not the 'framework' part. That was with flesh on it already, kind of hard to get an idea of how the bones work if you're just learning about where the flesh and muscles are. I'm getting better with him. I also made him actually spread his legs out a bit, so he's not so closed up. It looks more natural that way. ^_^ I'm getting closer to finishing his anatomy. Then, it's on to coloring him. Maybe I'll be done with this character by next week. ;)

Kagamine Rap

By the Rin and Len Vocaloids. They're rapping together in Japanese. :P Pretty funny! Hi! Today I was playing around with my cat. We were playing pretty roughly, and she jumped at some point. She's declawed in the front, but still has her back ones. Anyways, when she jumped she scratched me pretty good in the face. O.O I actually was bleeding. She looked so sorry afterwards. In Naruto Shippuuden, it was about the truth behind Madara and Itachi. They had a montage of Itachi moments that Sasuke was remembering from before he killed the entire clan. He starts to realize that maybe his image of him wasn't true, and he did just want to protect him. Itachi had been ordered by the Anbu to kill his entire clan, and to leave Konoha. 80 years ago, there were 2 clans that were feared the most: the Uchiha and the Senju. The Senju's leader at the time would be the future 1st Hokage of Konoha. He fought constantly with Madara, and they respected each other. Madara had only taken his brother's eyes to protect the clan. His brother was willing to 'sacrifice' himself. The Senju offer a truce, and after a while he accepts it. After this the nation of Konoha formed and consisted of many clans including the Uchiha. Madara still fought for equal rights for his clan, but no one seemed to listen. So, he left to become an 'avenger' (hmmm... sounds familiar. :P) and declared war on Konoha. He fought the 1st in the Valley of the End. Everyone including the 1st thought he died there. So, they forgot about him. The 2nd gave the Uchiha a special position as the Konoha Police Force. This would keep them out of government positions and would keep an eye on them. The clan realized this, and tried to form a rebellion. It was too late though. The Kyuubi attack was 'natural' (according to Madara), but since the Uchiha are the only ones who can tame it, they blamed them. So, they were put under strict surveillance under the Anbu Black Ops, and forced to relocate to the outskirts of Konoha. The 3rd opposed this, but Danzou (who was head of that Anbu branch) didn't listen. Itachi became a spy for the clan when he joined the Anbu.

Hetalia was hilarious yet again! XD One episode was about WWII with France and England trying to talk Poland into forming an alliance with them and to fight Germany. Poland didn't really care. So, they came up with the Common Defence Pact, which was worthless. England made a new weapon, again in WWII, called the Panjandrum to penetrate part of the Atlantic Wall. It was a rocket propelled device. It failed to move in a straight line when sand got into the wheels, making it useless. I looked this up, and it was very accurate. I love how the mangaka depicts countries and historical things (events, customs, etc.) making it interesting and mostly funny. And they've been pretty accurate so far. (Even with how some foods came about. This guy's awesome!) There was a scene where England thinks he's going to die after the device failed. America responded with, "You can't die yet, you still owe me money!" When England passes out, America shouts, "Wahoo! England's finally a goner!" XD England 'comes back to life' at that.

Next, was the Civilization and Enlightenment of Japan. Japan had been isolated for hundreds of years and then foreigners invaded, and his life as a 'shut- in' ended. France was one of the first visitors. So, Japan thinks he should learn and adopt France's culture. He starts mimicking everything France does. XD Also, he tries to do the clairvoyance thing, and channels the mangaka, who's saying thing's like I'll never make the deadline! (Funny that he'd put himself in his manga/ anime.) Towards the end there was a bit where Canada thinks he should stand out, again. He tries by trying to 'act like himself'. He puts a maple leaf on his forehead and talks to America. America slaps an American flag over it, saying you look more awesome now. In the last thing, America visits Japan and he was about to teach a new game to him. (Probably not going to end well.)

I drew a bit, also. Trying to get a handle more on anatomy through Grandma's book. I'm trying it out on the main character of my story. It's looking a bit better than before, but there's still some tweeking that needs to be done. :P He's a short character, but the example in the anatomy book has a tall guy. Plus, I want my character to not have his arms directly at his sides, it looks funny. XD Other than that, I'm learning more about it and improving. :3 After I figure out his anatomy, I'll probably work on his sister next. I'll slowly work through all my characters, which might take a while. It should be interesting. ^_^ I'll probably post what each one looks like on deviantART before moving on to the next one. So, look forward to that! XD
