Twister

Mood::iconberwaldplz:

By Orange Range. Haven't posted one of their songs in a long time. This one's fun and rocking. The lyrics are interesting. About making enough noise to awaken the winds of a twister. This twister sends your tension away, wakes you up with an electric shock, and blows away the darkness. Kind of cool, actually.

It hasn't been nearly as warm as it was yesterday. Just a really nice comfortable temp, and sunny with a slight wind.:iconthailandplz:It was so warm last night, I had a hard time sleeping. So, once it cooled down enough to sleep comfortably, it was about halfway through the time I would normally be sleeping. Decided to sleep in, because I didn't want to be a zombie running on only a few hours of sleep.:iconseychelles-plz:

Hitman Reborn was cool, but creepy at times. Creepy, because of how strong Xanxus is. And, Hibari just looks like the energizer bunny, even though he's severely wounded. Nothing can stop him. Tsuna seems to be becoming much more powerful than people expected. Reborn always believed in him, but everyone else was shocked. Squalo is apparently alive, even though they saw him get eaten by sharks. Dokuro is being held for ransom now, in order to get the rest of the rings, by Mammon and Bel. Gokudera and Yamamoto find them. Getting very interesting.

Still on the Deliora Arc in the manga version of Fairy Tail. Interesting to see this version of it. Didn't play my clarinet yesterday or today, because it felt too warm to do it. I tend to heat up more when I play. I don't know why...:iconswissplz:But, hopefully, I'll get back to it tomorrow. Edited more of that drawing for the meme. Really close to finishing it up.

Dance2 Feat. Soy Sauce

Mood::icondenmarkplz:

By Orange Range. It's been a long time since I've heard something I liked from them.:iconchibicanadaplz:I just love the beat and sound of this one. Supposedly, it was in a pocky commercial? Kind of funny.

It's kind of gloomy looking out today. A little cooler than yesterday too. Did a lot of dusting this morning.:iconsleepygreeceplz:Just before I started I stepped in some cat crap.:iconwtfukplz:I was about to murder Rosie when I noticed. We don't know which is actually doing it, but it's getting really annoying. There's about 2 or 3 piles of poop everyday around the dining room. I know Rosie doesn't like the litter box, but maybe Tasha doesn't like the other's smell in there? So it could be both.:icontinoplz:It's getting tiring carrying that bucket of waste that I usually use with the box all the way over there. If I spray afterwards, they tend to stay away from the area for a bit.:icongermanyplz:
This is Keema Mattar Pilau, or Minced Meat and Peas with Rice. I think it might be my first Indian dish.:nod:Really good stuff!:iconchibispainplz:And, tons of spices. It was probably my first time cooking with whole cloves, too. Used ground beef for the 'minced meat' part. They wanted me to use twice as much salt as I put in.:iconitalyishorrifiedplz:I don't think we need that much. And, I used frozen peas instead of fresh. Still worked out ok.

Managed to play my clarinet for an hour this time!:la:I haven't done that in so long. And, my fingers showed it. They were cramping up towards the end.:iconlietplz:I used to do an hour a day while I was in junior high up through the beginning of college. On top of practice at school, and later marching practice at night.:iconkikuplz:It'll be nice if I can keep it up again.
In O-Parts, Cross and Jio (Satan) fought. Cross 'evolved' into an angel. He tore Jio's body in half.:iconraivisplz:Satan killed Lily (Cross' sister), who was a copy of Solomon's Key, because he thought Cross wouldn't be able to evolve without her. Stea found him as a genseki when he was 2, and named him Cross. They tried giving him a feeling of having a family, by having 2 Stea members act as parents. And, they created Lily from a copy of Solomon's Key, someone had stolen the original. Since Cross wasn't evolving, they pulled out the 2 who were acting as parents to make him feel alone with his sister. When his sister was killed, they took Cross and put him as the commander of the attack team called Shin. Ruby's pendant is the real Solomon's Key. She may be a genseki. After Zoru's fired, the people around it start to have their souls sucked out. Ruby's soul starts to get sucked in too. Eventually, Satan tells her if she allows him to absorb her, he can return Jio back to normal. She agrees and his body starts to sew itself back together after she's inside. After being cut repeatedly by spikes, she finds Jio. And, gets him out of his self-pity state of mind. This is all a bit more complicated than I expected. But, I guess that's what makes it interesting.:iconchibinitalyplz:
In Fairy Tail, Wendy's known as the Maiden of the Sky. Brain thinks she's useful and sucks her up along with Happy. (What's with all this sucking or vacuum action today?) Wendy's a Sky Dragon Slayer. She does healing magic, which is a lost magic. Erza's been poisoned, and in order to save her, they have to find Wendy and Happy. Wendy really wanted to go on the mission, because she wanted to meet Natsu and ask him if he knew where the dragon that trained her went 7 years ago. All of the dragons seemed to have gone missing at the same time.:iconchibijapanplz:The group splits up into smaller groups to search for Oracion Seis. All these smaller groups get ambushed by various dark guilds. Brain wants Wendy to revive Jellal. He thinks Jellal can help them activate Nirvana. Crazy that he's still alive!:iconnorwayunimpressedplz:He's in the pic chained up in a coffin.

Mission in Taisakusen (Again)

Mood:Onion Icon

By Orange Range. Still a funny and great song. Things were a bit crazy the last couple of days. I'm not going into too much detail of what I did during the day on Tuesday. Here's an overview: wrote more of chapter 10 and came up with a cool name for a new character. Read Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei. Played some Beatles songs up to All You Need Is Love. Finished the first sentence of the grill's user manual, and did 4 more sentences. Watched Kuroshitsuji- introduced to Pluto. Also, played a few games.

Then, there was a Hadassah meeting. We didn't get much done in the 'business' part of the meeting. I guess that's ok. There was a potluck too. My mom made a bean salad thing with kidney beans. It's very good! Has balsamic vinegar, onions, and tarragon, too. There was also a good mac and cheese. This one was kind of dressed up more than the stuff from a box. Also, had bread crumbs on top. The other stuff was a bit odd. There were spinach patties on a stick with asparagus and red pepper. Sounds good, but somehow the pattie was horrible! I love spinach, so it was a bit surprising. There was a sweet kugel, which I hate usually. Also, a pretty good normal salad with pecans and goat cheese. There were lots of different types of fruit, and carrot cake for dessert. So, dessert was good, too. It was also a nice social meeting. The 'event' for that meeting was Mah Jong. I don't want to play it or learn it, so I brought my own games. I brought Rummikub, hoping someone will want to play with me. The one person I know that doesn't like it either, said she didn't feel like playing anything. Another person said they were learning how to play Mah Jong. So, I didn't get a chance to play, but talked with people.

I had a horrible night that night while trying to sleep. When I woke up, I was sick to my stomach, and a bit weak. So, I think something I had at the meeting made me a bit sick. I was a bit better later on. Although, I had internet problems all day. Which was frustrating. A good point about that day was I made Tasha purr. She barely ever purrs. I thought she was mad at me for trying to play with her, then she purred, and her whole face looked like it was melting. It was nice.

Today, I also wrote more of on chapter 10. I couldn't stop typing, I just had too many great ideas coming out.

In Dear, Kisara's Captain was introduced. His name's Cain Clevart. He loves everything that's 'beautiful'. And, thinks everyone on the force, except for Kisara, is ugly. He gives Chiruha a present when he notices her, saying she's cute. Later, he asks if she can prove that she really is a Lycanthrope. She shows him her fangs, movements, and ears. He says it's still not enough, and asks her on a date. To get to 'know' her better. They have a lot of fun. At the end of this date, she jumps over a bridge into the water, just to find a souvenir for Kisara. The captain can't seem to 'evaluate' her yet. He throws a welcoming party for her at his mansion. After having alcohol for the first time, Chiruha passes out. While she's out cold, Kisara thinks it's the best time to kill her. As he's choking her, some of his memories come flooding back, and he stops. Demons are about to attack the village. Kisara's job is to hold them off, while the force uses a canon aiming for both the demons and Kisara. He's immortal, so he's used as a 'sacrificial pawn'. Better than people thinking they had to destroy him before he met the captain. A Lycanthrope had made him immortal, and he wants revenge. (That's why he's been trying to kill her.) His memories come flooding back again while he's making his way to the demons. He met Chiruha at a shrine where the priestesses were taking care of her. They  thought she was a living G-d that grants immortality. Kisara and Chiruha would play and hang out for a while. When Kisara found out she's being physically abused by the villagers, he takes her away to a vacant house. That house is where she stays until the beginning of the story.

日本語
I finished translating another sentence for the grill's manual. この取扱説明書は大切に保等してください。(Kono tori atsukai setsu mei sho ha tai setsu ni tou shite kudasai.) Basically, please keep this user's manual in good condition.

In Naruto Shipuuden, one of Pain's bodies was successfully found in the toad Jiraiya sent to Konoha. They're going to do an autopsy on it. Naruto believes at least the 9 in the code is actually the katakana letter for ta or タ. This is because Jiraiya had a bad habit of being a bit lazy with his handwriting, and Naruto saw it every time Jiraiya wanted him read his manuscripts. They figure out that it refers to the book Jiraiya was writing while he trained Naruto: Make-out Tactics. Each number clue represents a page number. They looked at the first character for each page, and came up with 'The Real One's Not Among Them'. Naruto wants to avenge Jiraiya. The toad sage wants to train Naruto in Sage Jutsu, the same Jutsu Jiraiya learned. He believes Naruto is the only one who can defeat Pain. He begins his training learning about nature chakra, a type where you gather energy from outside of the body. This really reminded me of Yoda. They say in order to 'become one with nature', you have to die.

After that, we went to Costco. We got a butt-load of good stuff! Just had panko breaded fish (we got from there), ramen, and green beans. Finished it off with those awesome cranberry, oatmeal, and brown sugar moist cookies. We also got some pre-made Falafels and Tzatziki sauce to have with it. Thinking about making a sandwich with it for lunch tomorrow. If you've never had it, you're missing out big time! There's a lot of other good stuff.

DeviantART faves: Free Peonies Modotte I did not make these! The first is an awesome drawing of America from Hetalia. Next, is a beautiful drawing of China from Hetalia. Last, is of Kamui and Kangura from Gintama, when they were little. Very nicely done too.

Mission in Taisakusen

Mood:Onion Icon

By Orange Range. It's like a parody of the Mission Impossible theme. Onion IconsKind of a funny, but cool sounding song. I felt a lot better today! MSN Onion EmoticonsOnly real problem was the internet connection was in and out all day. Which meant I didn't get a whole lot done online. Onion Icons

I finally found my penpal's letter! MSN Onion IconsI felt so guilty about it, but at least I found it. So, I finished my letter. Now, I just need to take it to the post office, make sure I got the 'international' part right on the envelop, put a stamp on it, and send it out. Not bad, really. MSN Onion EmoticonsHopefully, she'll be able to read my handwriting. Onion IconShe's an English teacher, but wants to learn more so she can have the confidence to teach at the high school level. Right now she's teaching about 6 classes a week for junior high school students. They look cute in the pic she sent. MSN Onion IconsShe also majored in English Literature in college. But, she feels like it wasn't actually reading the originals, because they were translated into Japanese. So, she wants to learn English because of that, too. Maybe she can tell me some famous Japanese book titles and I can try and decipher them, while also looking at the translation. Sounds like it will be interesting corresponding with her. MSN Onion Emoticons

I worked a bit on getting the garden cleaned up. Pulled weeds, pulled branches out, seeds, and other stuff. There's a nice small bare section towards the end of the garden. The soil looks good too. MSN Onion Icon Those weeds were scary! MSN Onion EmoticonIt really showed that no one has used the garden for a while. Their roots were so deep and thick! MSN Onion Emoticon SetNot only that but the branches that had fallen, a long time ago, had more plants and stuff growing on top of them. Those were huge too! MSN Onion EmoticonI saw a huge earthworm at one point. Very good sign, but it scared me, because I thought it was another branch or twig. I felt bad because I had to pull some of my dad's oregano out. The weeds had grown under their roots, so I had to pull that up too. Onion EmoticonIt looks like the garden will be nice. Onion IconI still have a ways to go, but it was a good dent into it. I did a lot of other cleaning too afterwards.

Atural Pop (again)

Mood:Cat Emoticon

By Orange Range. (This weekend I'll hopefully find more music for my playlist.) I took a break from writing Alliance, because I just finished a chapter. I got another penpal! It seems like there's a new one everyday now. I joined another group on deviantART. It features fanart of Russia from Hetalia. He's one of my fave characters! (Obviously.)

I was going to try and finish reading Azumanga Daioh on Manga Fox, but they took it off. Other sites took it off too, so I guess I have to forget about it for a while. So, I looked for a new manga to start. I have 2 possibilities now: Saiyuki or Monster Hunter Orage. Saiyuki is very popular, both in anime and the manga version. I watched an anime episode of it and it was very good. Ever since then I've wanted to try watching more or reading it. It's loosely based on a famous Chinese novel called Journey to the West. The main characters are a monk- Sanzo, a monkey king- Son Goku, a half- demon- Sha Gojyo, and a human turned demon- Cho Hakkai. Monster Hunter Orage has a high rating, but I haven't heard of it before. From the description, it's obviously about monster hunters. That doesn't give me much. There might be more possibilities, I just have to explore more.

I didn't have much time to do my other stuff, because we went out to do errands. I found new screws for my ligature, which seem to be working great. I still have to see what they're actually like when playing, but it's good. Also, got new reeds. I love how I say size 3, and they say we only have Rico in that. Like it's a bad thing. Rico really hasn't been bad. Plus, I don't need anything expensive and fancy. Not many people I know use a size 3, but there are 5 sizes. So, there's got to be some people who get thicker ones. I was out of a lot of things, and apparently we were pretty low on other stuff. So, we did more errands than normal and I'm feeling pretty tired now.

Mood:

From Orange Range. Another fun song by them. The kind of song that's uplifting and you'll want to sing a long with it. I edited more of chapter 8. Was going to keep going with it, but thought I should fix a few things first. -_-" I think that this chapter is going to be the longest one. :P Hopefully that's not a bad thing. I also posted 3 more pics to deviantART: Koi 4 Memorial Jewish Memorial at Park

I tried to register for Birthright Israel, but apparently the deadline passed a couple of days ago. :( I read somewhere that you can go on the trip until the year you turn 27, so I have a little more time than I thought. I also saw that the program is being criticized for their screening process, politics, and where they get the funding for these trips. So, I looked at other programs. Oranim has a similar program, only they allow 18 to 30 year olds to have a free trip. Also, you could go for the 3 month one or the 10 days. O.O I wouldn't want to go for 3 months, but it's nice they have that option. They used to be the biggest trip organizer for Birthright, but Birthright cut down on its organizers so they made their own program. Sounds a lot better, but their registration has passed too. We'll see which program I want to try next time.

Apparently, the arranged marriage ceremony for the Itoshiki's is at the mansion and lasts 24 hours. During this time, anyone whose eyes meet will get married immediately. O.O Even sensei's students are candidates. All of them are forcing him to look at them. He's a pro at avoiding eye contact, though. During this time even 2 guys can get married. (Kind of interesting.) In the end he doesn't make eye contact with anyone. Next, was a topic about needing instability in order for there to be stability. Sensei talks about how crazy he is, and tells his students to aim for instability because the world is too stable. They eventually go to a museum of instability. Sensei sees a pic of a penguin and after the story behind it he goes even more crazy. (No wonder I see the same penguin everywhere in this series. It's in the lamp's reflection in the pic.) Chiri goes nuts and wants to stabilize the world.

I got an email back from one of my new penpals. Wahoo! Finally have one. She's going to send me some snail mail. I reviewed the adjectives for last years Level 3 of the JLPT. I knew them all! O.O I might be more prepared than I thought. I also looked over parts of the kanji quiz. It's 10 pages long! I think it has more kanji than the list for the level. I knew the ones I saw though. Next, I started making sentences with the first verb. I plan to try and come up with different sentences for each verb form. Should help me with getting more of a handle on them. Example: 「今日は!」彼は私に挨拶した。"Hello!" He greeted me. It's probably not the best sentence. Tomorrow, I'll try to come up with a better one for the past form.

Greil, who's Madam Red's butler, tries to learn from Sebastian. Since he doesn't feel adequate enough he tries to kill himself throughout the episode. Sebastian always tells him not to, because it would make too much of a mess. O.O Ciel's father died 3 years ago when the old mansion burned down. This episode was, in the manga, when Elizabeth visits. Her voice was much more annoying than I thought it would be. Apparently, Greil does have a thing he's good at: singing. Everyone was bracing themselves for the worst, but he sounded like an opera star or something. Also, in the manga, Greil didn't show up until Jack the Ripper's case. I think that's next though.

I played Castle Escape. (Another Gazzyboy game.) This time it was a bit easier than normal. It was a nasty ending. You fall into the castle's sewer, make some holes, watch the sewage go out, make a much bigger hole, and climb out. I liked the 'puzzles' in the cells. I was over thinking where the keys were. They were staring right at me! Next, I played the Mashita- An Hina Escape game. You have to find all the dolls and put them on the platform. (It was for Girl's Day in Japan.) I needed a little help, because yet again I was over thinking it! -_- Big Tree Defence was interesting. Kind of different take on defense games. You have to protect the trunk of the tree from alien bugs, by buying flower or fruit weapons. (Really like the towers on other games.) I like when a game is unique or seems to be.

I finished fixing Gun's anatomy, inked him, and colored him. Will probably post him tomorrow. His anatomy looks a lot better than my previous characters have been. I can see I'm improving greatly. :D I wasn't sure about the colors and the print on his shirt, but as I keep looking at it, I seem to like it more and more. ^_^ Maybe I'll try drawing Zero next. Don't know, we'll see. ;)
