18th of Kislev

Got through all of Adject. 2 in Duolingo's Italian course. There were a lot of lessons to this one. I only missed a couple of questions. One was because I couldn't see one of the translated words in a word bank. For some questions, they give you an Italian sentence to translate using that word bank. I noticed it a second after I pressed 'continue'...The next unit is Infinit. 1. That one is slightly longer with 10 lessons.

For drawing, I tried to fix Shadow's hair. For some reason I usually have a hard time with the left side of hairstyles. Even the left eye gets a little weird. (Left side is technically the character's right side considering it's head on...) I'll try going over it again tomorrow, and then move on.

Got through a lot of editing of Alliance. I'm close to halfway through. Still surprised at how many mistakes I've found so far. At least it'll be better in the long run.

Didn't make it to a full hour for practicing my clarinet. I was really close, though. Finished the generalized clarinet solo book, Duke Ellington, and made it through most of the Gershwin book. Quite a lot. For a couple of the tunes, I actually played much better than usual. However, there were a lot that sounded worse...I haven't played on a regular basis in a while. So, it's understandable.

One thing that has bothered me, with a lot of the Jewish news pages I follow on fb, has been them not saying that 'Messianic Jews' aren't Jews. They say they're a 'controversial' topic. That it's widely debated. No, no it's not. This has come up again because of the 'Messianic rabbi' that was asked to say something about the Pittsburgh shooting a while ago. It angered a lot of Jews. Recently, one rabbi on fb explained why that was so offensive, who 'Messianic Jews' are, and the history behind it. He clearly said, in all caps, at the beginning: Why there is no such thing as a 'Messianic Jew'. It was a lengthy post, but it said what needed to be said. They're essentially a Christian group that have been trying to convert Jews. They sometimes call themselves 'Jews for Jesus'. There's a counter group called Jews for Jews that try to educate other Jews about them. The thing is, and the rabbi referred to this often, you can't be Jewish and believe in Jesus. If you do, you are a Christian. Simple as that. I remember when they would wait right outside our Hillel (campus Jewish youth group) meeting at WSU and confront us as we left. They're pushy. I think one even followed me back to my dorm once. I closed the door in their face.

I decided to unsubscribe from Hadassah's magazine. I was given a lifetime membership from a local chapter I was a part of for a while. In fact, I was there from its inception until it dissolved. (I don't know if it was revived later.) I was also secretary for a while. Hadassah is a Jewish women's group. I somewhat liked what it stood for, but felt left out somehow...Now that I know I'm agender, I know what that weird feeling was. Anyways, the membership feels especially odd right now. I'll keep it, since I don't know if I'll want to join another chapter in the future. There might be other enby members, too. The magazine is very female-oriented, which is understandable. I just didn't get much from it. With a lifetime membership, you get a subscription for life to that magazine as well. I did like the little Hebrew lessons at the end of most issues. Some of the recipes looked interesting, but too elaborate for me. It'll be less paper out there, at least. The person I emailed was kind of snippy about it. They also didn't answer my question about if I unsubscribe from the magazine, do I get to keep my lifetime Hadassah membership? Hopefully they didn't just drop me completely.

I've decided to try and go to bed earlier than I have been. I was slipping into the old habit of going to sleep too late. I put a reminder on my calendar for me to get ready for bed at certain times. (Different for the week and weekend.) It'll be like a little nudge.

I also am planning to make Sunday afternoon kind of like a spa time for myself. Clipping nails (fingers and toes), filing them, using a filing block on my feet, massage feet with a foot remedy cream, clean my ears with a kit, and shave. I did mostly everything yesterday. Felt really good. The filing block really smoothed out my feet. It was gross seeing so much come off of them. Probably the more I do that, the less stuff will come off. Felt like I was grating my feet, though. The cream has tea tree oil and menthol, so it's tingly. It softens, deodorizes, and heals feet. Nifty, except that it's very old. I'm not sure when or if something like that expires? Or, if it is expired, maybe it's just not as effective anymore? Either way, it felt nice.

I have to clean my ears with a special kit at least once a month. Much more often if they're bad. I have a feeling it might be best to do it every Sunday. Especially, because I have not been keeping up with it, and it's been difficult to hear things at times. I have to do it because essentially the Eustachian tubes in my ears are upside down. Makes for a host of issues. Changes in air pressure hurts (I've actually thrown up because of this), they plug up with too much 'stuff' and fluid, balance is affected, etc. Cleaning them can be painful. I didn't get them clear this time, which means they're pretty bad right now. At least they're better than they were.

I got to shaving my facial hair, but not my legs. That's ok. I could get to it next time. I try to shave the facial stuff every day, but forget. So, if I set a for sure day like Sunday, it might be easier. I'll at least have it done then.

Also, decided to cut down on time spent on my phone. Specifically, on fb. I've been on it a little too much lately. It was mainly because a lot of stuff has been happening. I'll try not to look at my phone while I eat. That'll help a bit. A few months ago I tried to cut fb out almost completely for the week, and catch up with some things during the weekend. I would only look at notifications, and possibly respond during the week. Not sure if that'll be the best way now...We'll see.

I was pleasantly surprised to see positive trans representation in Zombieland Saga. With the most current episode, that I watched last night, they revealed that Lily is a trans girl. The show is about a zombie idol girl group. It's not really like an idol anime, though. It's really off-beat and they've thrown a lot of interesting surprises out there so far. This one is the biggest one yet. The girls are different ages and come from different times. Lily is the youngest and most recently died (I think). She was a very successful child actress. I didn't quite get that she was trans until Saki said it didn't matter what 'junk' she has, she's still Lily and one of the girls. It was vague before that. Apparently, when Lily was first talking about her past with Sakura, there was a little trans flag. I didn't even see it, but a reviewer showed a snapshot of it. It was something Sakura was wearing, but it was right there. That's saying something. The way Lily died seemed comical at first. She died right after finding a hair on her chin. She had been complaining to her father about getting hair on her legs just before. She didn't want to go through puberty. She was overworked as an actress. So, the immense amount of stress with that, wanting to not age, and being very dysphoric about her body hair all mixed together was too much for her. Her father was very supportive and accepting of who she was, and she wasn't bullied for it. They treated deadnaming well, too. The producer of the group acted like it wasn't a big thing and that she's just like them. He was very supportive of her, which was surprising considering how much he yells at all of them. They all treated her with respect, too. I don't see such positivity around it in anime often. So, now we know how 4 of the girls died. Sakura was ran over by a truck, Ai was struck by lightning, Junko's plane crashed, and Lily died from stress. It seems they'll go over Saki's next. It looks like she might have died in a motorcycle accident, but they've been known to twist things. I wonder if Tae will ever 'awaken'. She's the only one left that hasn't yet. She's the one that's the most zombie-like. Although, she seems to be aware enough to learn dance moves, and is getting better about not biting people and things. I like her, but I want to know what she's like when she's more aware.

Watched the Fairy Tail: Dragon Cry movie yesterday. It was ok. Not the best or worst. I remember seeing something about how some new things will be introduced in the movie that only manga fans knew about. Stuff that would carry over to this current final season. Like, Gray being able to control his 'demon' side, Lucy being able to equip new outfits and weapons based on the zodiac spirit she summons, possibly hinting at who or what Natsu really is, Acnologia and Zeref being enemies, etc. However, it seemed like that stuff was just thrown out there and made it a bit chaotic.

I'm glad I started watching this season before watching Dragon Cry. It makes more sense this way, I think. Also, recently they named Erza as the new Fairy Tail guild master. They were told about why Makarov disbanded FT, and plan to save him. I'm glad they also went over Zeref's story more. He's supposedly the biggest 'villain' in the series, and almost everything revolves around him. He's not really evil. In fact, they make you feel sorry for him throughout most of the series. If he thinks about life, he kills everything around him. He's immortal and has been trying to find a way to kill himself. Another big revelation about him and Natsu makes a lot of sense. Also, makes sense why his book is titled E.N.D. Part of it probably does stand for an 'end' to his life. It's a book of demons he created to kill himself. (The majority of them failed.) However, it actually stands for Etherious Natsu Dragneel. Etherious are the type of demons in Zeref's book. Zeref's last name is Dragneel. I didn't realize this until he final said it recently. Before Zeref was 'cursed' he was trying to find ways to bring his deceased brother back. It seems Natsu is his brother brought back to life, but he might be a demon, too? Very interesting. This also probably means that he expects Natsu to kill him in the future.

12 More Days!

Mood::icondenmarkgrinplz:

Yay! 12 more days until my b-day!:la:I don't think I'll ever become one of those people who dreads their birthdays. It's celebrating your life! I think of it as I made it this far, what more great and interesting things await me?:iconchibihungaryplz:I love how it's exactly a week after Halloween. They always feel interconnected to me.

Speaking of Halloween, yesterday I found my mom's stash of Halloween decorations. So, I put up a poster thing of a black cat coming out of a jack-o-lantern on the front door. Found some webbing that has 4 fake spiders. Put that up around the front windows. There were 2 wooden Halloween-themed figurines, I put on the counter next to the kitchen table. There's also these ghosts that hang on things like bushes, we used to put them out every year. Somewhat for directing the kids to our door. I'm debating whether I'll put those up too. (If we have a wind storm, they're a pain to find. Since they blow away so easily.:iconhongkongplz:) There's also some Halloween garland I can put somewhere, if I want.

Managed to get the fire started in our wood stove yesterday. Couldn't totally do it on Sunday. But, I apparently didn't put enough wood in. So, it died down pretty quickly. Might try to do it again today. I'm not used to how our stove works. Dad gave me a few tips, after I asked her last night. So, we'll see.:iconchibinitalyplz:

My penpal from Japan finally sent a letter to me!:faint:(Snail mail.) It had been about a year and a half since she last sent something. I was really on the ball last time, and sent something as soon as I could to her after that. That last letter she sent, she sounded so depressed. Which is understandable, considering she was in the tsunami affected areas. But, not hearing from her for so long, I was a bit worried, and also thought maybe she didn't want to have anything to do with me anymore.:iconraivisplz:She has a number of health conditions. Mental and physical. Anyways, she sounded much better in the letter that came yesterday. Again, still depressed about what happened. (I'd probably be the same.) But, things seem to be looking up for her. Makes me feel a bit more relieved. She said she hopes we can still be friends, even if it took her forever to respond. Of course we can.:iconchibicanadaplz:She's kind of cute that way. She had a sticker pic at the end of the letter of herself. She also asked if we could talk about our fave bands and send each other a ripped CD of some of their songs with each letter we send. That sounds interesting. Not sure if I'll do it, but we'll see. We have a lot to catch up on!

Went to the Hadassah meeting Tuesday night. Only one other person had one of the cookies I brought. I think the others were too scared of it. I guess they don't like trying new things.:iconnorwayunimpressedplz:So sad. The other things seemed a bit plain. Like brownies, shortbread, etc. Don't get me wrong, I like that stuff. But, it gets old. I think for a dessert potluck, you'd want something exciting.:iconpolandplz:

Anyways, the members seemed to really like my hairstyle. (Some haven't seen me for a long time.) One member went over to me, and begged to touch my hair. It feels a bit awkward how people react to it.:iconseychelles-plz:I love it too, but I don't constantly touch it, and ooh and ahh.

They were a lot nicer to me this time. Not trying to act like their my mom or anything. I have a parent, thank you very much.:iconchibiswedenplz:Just would like to be treated like another member. (I'm a life member now of the organization as a whole. So, I'm really a member of every Hadassah group/chapter now, for the rest of my life.)

We talked about more ideas of how to draw people in, and more ideas for fundraising. A lot of people had stopped coming because they hated that every meeting ended with mah jongg (or mahj for short). Plus, our main fundraising event turned into a mahj tournament. They felt that's all that we were about. Frankly, I'm glad we had such a great fundraiser, but I have no interest in mahj. So, it really doesn't feel quite right that our group has focused so much on it.:iconswissplz:People brought up that maybe we should have that tournament every other year, instead of every year. But, we'd have to come up with something to replace it with the years we don't have the tournament. We also talked about projects that help raise money for certain organizations or causes. Like, breast cancer research, something to do with the Hadassah hospital in Israel, something to do with mental health, stem cell research, etc. That might be a good draw for people. We thought about bringing some things back, like lecturers, a Jewish poetry reading group called Drash to come again, workshops, etc.

There's also a new movement where the organization is trying to draw in younger women. Specifically women in their 20s and 30s. My age group. They have a subgroup for them, and have a bit of a different focus. I think that's cool. I might want to join something like that. One of the members said there was a 4-day class on how to lead these groups for younger women, and wanted me to join it. I absolutely have no intention of leading them.:iconprussiaplz:But, I'd be happy to join one of those groups. (If you have a life membership, you're still considered a member of the younger groups.)

This same member was the person who drove my friend and I to it. She used to be the group's president, while I was the secretary. Lately, she's had major problems with her hearing. A lot of the time she forgets her hearing aids, and therefore seems cranky when she can't hear anyone. Anyways, while we were in her car on the way to my place, she snapped at me big time. She couldn't see my lips, so she couldn't lip read. She essentially didn't hear a word I said, and thought I wasn't answering her. So, I said it louder, then she got even more irate. It was a very weird/emotional situation for me.:iconlietplz:And, my friend was put off by it too. I'm reluctant to get in her car again. I'm trying to stay away from people who may hurt me emotionally. I don't need that pain. Even if it's unintentional. Feels like I have to protect myself.:icongermanyplz:

Went to the cafe this week. Had some hot chocolate with whipped cream, and a little chocolate syrup drizzled on top. Really good! While I was there I read an article in Japanese from Soy Source about Halloween costume and decoration ideas. Practiced my kanji. Up to about 72 of the 'current' ones that I've gone over. I know a lot more, but these were the ones I didn't go over before, or didn't go over enough of. That's a good number of them. Went over 3 Japanese grammar lessons. And, practiced making several Japanese sentences. Started drawing the clock tower that's at the university from my story. It's becoming pretty ornate looking. Kind of fun. I got sucked into it, while I drew. Might continue it next week. And, eventually post it.

A couple of days ago, I made a thing called Noodles with Tomatoes, Sardines, and Mustard. Another recipe from my new Asian cookbook. Almost all the recipes in the book say which country they got it from, except this one. We're thinking it might be Filipino or Thai. I left that open and asked people on dA, as well. Someone said it looks and sounds like a Thai dish, so I don't know. It was really good. Just needed more 'dressing' (mustard/olive oil/garlic/lemon juice), and a lot less red onion. (WAY too much onion!:iconusaplz:) I like the flavor red onion gives to a dish, but I don't really like eating them. I think I would have either taken out the red onion entirely, or used half the amount and cooked them to nothing before tossing them in the bowl. But, I wanted to see what the end result of the recipe would be before I tweak it too much. People on dA seem to really like this one. It already has a lot of faves, and a couple of comments.

Last few days I've also gone over some of the 'new' current kanji, and some compounds. The compounds, for some reason, are really giving me a better understanding of the language. The grammar lessons have helped a lot as well.

Posted a chapter of Alliance to one of the forums I'm apart of. Apparently, someone already really likes it. I thought no one cared. They liked the post, and commented saying that they really enjoyed that chapter. But, they also said I shouldn't wait so long to post the next one. I ended the one I just posted on a huge cliffhanger. So, it might be a bit cruel of me if I don't post the next chapter within a month or so.:iconenglandispervyplz:

Also, managed to play more of my clarinet this week. Did some Mozart and some tunes from my newest solo book. Hasn't been too bad. The Mozart book is for advanced players, especially the last pieces. (One of them he specifically made for the clarinet, and was one of his last pieces before his death.) So, I messed up a little on those. Oh, and forgot to mention, today's also Pumpkin Day, Pretzel Day, and Mince Meat Pie Day. Sounds like the perfect combo, to me!:iconeestiplz:

Caramel Apple Day!

Mood::iconfrancisplz:

Caramel apples are awesome!:iconheroamericaplz:They're also very messy...But, it's worth it! I kind of like the plain original ones with just the caramel around the apple, the most. There are other types too. Some people roll it in nuts, and some drizzle chocolate syrup over the caramel.

I didn't feel well enough to go to services yesterday morning.:iconnataliaplz:And, oddly didn't read the Torah portion or parsha. I've been trying to read them every week. I think I've read this last one so many other times, so it's not like I'm really breaking the 'cycle'. This time it was on Noah, and the one before was the very first parsha of the year. (The very beginning of the Torah.) I'll definitely get back to reading the next one!:iconchibinitalyplz:

We recently got a green tea sampler. I love it so far!:iconchibihungaryplz:I've had the Moroccan Mint, Chai Green, Fusion Green and White, Ginger Peach, and Pomegranate Raspberry. The only one I didn't really care for is the Pomegranate Raspberry. It smells, and kind of, has a fishy taste. At least, to me it does.:iconhongkongplz:I really liked the mint and chai ones so far. Very interesting stuff. We also got a pretty good lemon tea, that I've been off and on with. Since I took out sodas, and most sugary drinks about a year ago, there hasn't been very many options for me other than tea. I've become much more healthy because I took those out of my diet, though. There's so many different teas out there! And, I've always loved tea. Plus, it has a lot of health benefits.:iconthailandplz:

Just went out to the store for, what was to just be, chocolate. Realized we needed things like more fruit, and while we were in the produce section, someone we knew saw us and decided to talk.

She's the type of person where you don't want to be rude, but you know right away she'll want to talk for a long time if you give her the chance.:iconseychelles-plz:Very nice lady, but she kept talking to us for so long I almost forgot the other stuff we needed. But, she also wanted to ask if I was going to the Hadassah meeting on Tuesday. I felt like I was being talked down to last time, so I was very reluctant about it.:iconswissplz:But, she really wants me to go with her. At least, I'll know one person who'll treat me like another regular person. So, I agreed to go with her. We might have another person drive us, but if she can't, this lady will. She just hates driving at night.

This time, the meeting will start with a dessert potluck. I wasn't sure about what to bring.:icontinoplz:So, we looked around the baked goods area, and I decided to get some pumpkin/walnut/chocolate cookies. They're more like huge cakey muffin tops. Really good, and I hope it'll be a hit.:iconchibiamericaplz:One 'cookie' is very filling. So, I'm hoping there will be a few left over for us. There's about 20 of those babies! Doubt there will be that many people. For our dessert tonight, we decided on apple strudel. The market makes a really good one.

We both really wanted a fire in the wood stove, so we got some more kindling and some wood burning bricks that were on sale at the market. When we got it home, I tried to get it going. Almost got it, but it went out twice before really getting to the logs.:iconnorwayunimpressedplz:Dad helped a bit after that, and it's finally going! Feels good. Our house gets cold inside this time of year, so it's good when we have a fire. You can feel the heat all the way upstairs. It's amazing!:la:

I was hoping to get it going myself, because Dad has something weird going on with one of her eyes. She called the nurse hotline and they agree with her that it might be a detached or torn retina. They told her to relax, lay down, not to make sudden movements, and to stay off the computer until Monday. She has an appointment with an ophthalmologist then. Of course, if things get worse before that, she has to go to urgent care. If they're not open, then it's the emergency room. Oh joy.:iconlietplz:Anyways, I didn't want something to happen to her, but she ended up helping me. She has a hard time staying away from the computer, too. I would, as well.

Watched the movie, Liar Game: The Final Stage, yesterday. It was pretty cool. Although, for some reason I felt it wasn't as intricate with the twists as the 2nd season was. I could guess what was going on, long before the characters caught on. Next week, I'll watch the next movie, Liar Game: Reborn. Yes, they beat the final stage, but apparently there's more.:iconkikuplz:

Watched Sword Art Online yesterday, too. Kirito actually beats the game, by killing off the game's creator. But, the game creator had attacked him first, and ended up killing him at the same time. Kirito woke up in the real world. The creator said the players that died would lose their minds, and become a vegetable. Essentially, killing them in the real world. Yet, he's not a 'vegetable'. He's plenty aware, and pretty much back to normal. Just has to work on gaining his muscles back. He found out where Asuna was being kept, and has been visiting her every week since he woke up. She's still in a coma. Apparently, her game's headgear still looks like its on. A disturbing pervy man plans to marry her while she's still in a coma at the hospital soon. Kirito's going to try to stop it. (They were married in the game, and were living in a nice looking cabin in the woods.) I don't see how there's a possibility of the game still playing when the world literally crumbled to nothing. But, there is, apparently. Judging from the new opening and ending sequences. I guess I'll have to see what happens.

Rearranged and got rid of a lot of songs. Some were really bugging me. Sad, because I used to love them.:iconchibiaustriaplz:Started playing Heralds of Chaos on Gaia yesterday. Interesting war strategy game. I'm into that kind of stuff, so I kind of got sucked in. Also, saw an interesting profile on one of the dating sites. He had shown some 'interest' in me. Which they phrase as him wanting to meet me. He loves his cat, doesn't drink, has similar interests, etc. I'm a little nervous about responding, but I probably should.:iconchibicanadaplz:

International Sushi Day

Mood::iconfrancisplz:

This was a couple of days ago, but yay for sushi!:dummy:I haven't honestly tried a lot of sushi. A lot of them I can't really eat. (Since I don't eat shellfish.) But, I do have a few faves. My top 2 are tekkamaki and kappamaki. Or, tuna rolls and cucumber rolls. They're awesome! I'm sure there are more I haven't tried, that some day might become another fave. I do like the special sushi rice itself, too.

On Tuesday, I switched what I normally would do on Wednesdays with stuff I would do for Tuesday. So, I went to the cafe then. On top of that, as soon as I got home, I was picked up again to go to a Hadassah meeting.:iconseychelles-plz:It was a bit busy. Managed to get to most things that day, though. The only big thing I didn't get to was playing my clarinet. Had a really tasty and strong hot chocolate there.

Not very many people showed up for the meeting.:iconswissplz:Not much of a potluck either. Just a pea soup with croutons on the side, about 3 different types of tabbouleh, and homemade bread for dinner. Then, just 2 different types of brownie for dessert. Had some ok lemonade, too. But, there wasn't any 'substance' to it.:iconwtfukplz:Maybe the bread, but that's really not a main dish. Oh well.

It seemed like a lot of members were a little 'off' that night too. Like they were tired of something about the group. Not really enthusiastic about much, and very sharp in attitude. Didn't feel as welcoming as it usually does.:icontinoplz:Sure, there were a couple of us that were really into it, and not judgmental. But, that was just a couple.

We talked about the annual mahj tournament, and how to draw new members and old ones back in. The mahj tournament is a great fundraiser for us. So, even though I don't care for it, it's great.:iconeestiplz:But, apparently, a lot of people feel the way I do. Where our group has just become about mahj and mahj only. If you don't play, it turns you away from the group.:iconwtfromanoplz:So, I put some suggestions out there, but didn't want to be the one to plan them out. Just to get things moving. One of them said, well why don't you plan or at least think out an event. It was weird. That's the other thing that will turn members away, is if you put pressure on them to do something they're not sure they'll have the time or the know-how for. Better to suggest something, have someone say they have experience with it, and have the time to step up and do it. Or, it helps others come up with something else that wasn't discussed. Just made me feel weird.:iconhongkongplz:

But, they did say I had a lot of great ideas. I liked the Jewish themed events, and suggested we do more of those. Also, suggested that maybe we should do some more just social things in general to get to know people better. Like go to a movie, a park, a game night (with other games), etc.

They also want me (more like begging me:iconlietplz:) to be secretary again. I only stopped because it didn't seem like anybody cared at the time. Plus, the president would skip over me at almost every meeting. It just seemed like I was ignored. I don't really want that experience again.:iconkikuplz:I'd rather relax, talk to people, enjoy an event, etc. Not have to worry about what was brought up, what people felt, and all that other stuff.

Posted an Israel pic on Monday on deviantART. Starting to get back into posting them. I know it's been a while since the trip, but I never got around to posting the rest. Some of the pics look pretty impressive just because of the views. And, I want to share that.:iconchibinitalyplz:

Played some more of my clarinet. Really wasn't bad yesterday. Played some Gershwin and 'advanced' solo tunes. I was surprised at how well I did with the solos.:iconchibihungaryplz:I was struggling a bit with them last time.

Edited chapter 7 and 8 of Alliance again. Another good couple of chapters. I'm starting to get back into really loving this story, ever since I got back into editing all the chapters again.

Typed up more of the You Maga article on living and parenting in America. Also, has tips on learning English. Very interesting so far.

Started reading Fairy Tail yesterday. Wanted to try it out, since I love the anime so much. The drawing style is a bit different than the anime, I think. More crude, I guess? It seems Happy changed the most in design. Even the Fairy Tail logo has changed a bit. But, interesting to see what it was all like before. Maybe there will be different side-stories as well. Sounds like a fun way to look at it.:iconheroamericaplz:
日本語
Yesterday's kanji was: 歌. Or: うた (uta), うた.う (uta.u), か (ka). I knew this one pretty well, but hadn't practiced writing it out much. It means: song, poetry, lyrics, to sing, to compose a poem, to recite a poem. Kind of a fun one.

Worked more on the original character meme. Zero's dream is coming out better than I expected. Also, started a drawing I've wanted to do since at least March. It's basically a representation of how I feel with my shoulder pain. I'll be crying, in a dress, with a wing coming out of my back. (Wing isn't fully 'grown' out. Like it's in the process of growing.) Perspective is from the side. Wings will be all bloody, and you can see parts of my bones on that side. It might be a bit bloody/gory, but I haven't felt peachy with this thing either.:iconnataliaplz:Finished drawing out Anzu's face. Both her and Kenta look better than I expected. Still not quite what's in my head, but close. The last character on this sheet is Sahara. I'm hoping she'll look better than the last time I drew her.
Since Mikeneko Holmes no Suiri hasn't been updated for a while, I started watching Shiritsu Bakaleya Koukou or Private Bakaleya High School, on Sunday. (I really loved that other drama!) The first episode of this one was pretty good. I thought it'd be lame. Especially, because it's a collaboration between 2 pop idol groups. Johnny's Jr. and AKB48. It was shot in an interesting way. Seemed very 'artsy'. The mood was interesting too. Bakada High School is known as a delinquent school for boys, where students only know how to fight. Cattleya (this seems like a hilarious name to me, for some reason...) High School is an exclusive girls' school meant for the rich, where students are very refined. One day it was announced that Bakada (now that I think of it, this is a funny name too. Baka is idiot) and Cattleya would merge into one school. Thus, the name Bakaleya. They don't get along with each other from the start. The girls kind of scare me. They look like they're from a cult or something. They didn't show much on them, so maybe the next episode will feature them more? Anyways, it's very interesting so far.
