Nee

Mood::iconeestiplz:

Or, Hey. By Perfume. This was one of the songs SHaYK performed at the Aki Matsuri. They even did the same dance, although Perfume obviously did it better. (Really fancy and cool footwork.:iconchibisitalyplz:) Thought it was kind of cute, but didn't like it at first. But, it really grew on me. I think that can be said with most of Perfume's songs. They're kind of addicting.:iconheroamericaplz:Most of their songs have the same feel. I got a couple more of them already. Might look around for some more. The group started in 2001. It's a 3 member techno-pop girl band, and all of them were 11~12 when they started. They first debuted in their hometown, Hiroshima. They have been breaking records after records with their singles. In 2008, the single 'Love the World' debuted on the Oricon sales chart at #1, becoming the first techno song ever to do so. Breaking the record of #2 set in 1983 by Yellow Magic Orchestra. Perfume has become one of the most influential Japanese bands.:iconchibicanadaplz:

This is my wallpaper for the month. Might change it when it gets closer to Halloween.:iconsleepygreeceplz:It's Katsura and Elizabeth from Gintama. Haven't had a Gintama themed wallpaper in so long!:iconfrancisplz:This one's perfect for this time of year. Next to Katsura, it says: 紅葉が美しいなエリズベス. (Kouyou ga utsukushii na Erizubesu.) The autumn leaves are beautiful, huh Elizabeth. Cute.:iconchibihungaryplz:They're such weird, yet lovable characters.:iconchibipolandplz:

My Japanese woodblock calendar, isn't as impressive as most months. The artist would visit strange or memorable bridges. This one was a bridge where half of it was made of stone, and the other half of wood. When they were making it, they couldn't agree on whether it should be made out of wood or stone. So, they did both.:iconnorwayunimpressedplz:

Here's this month's month-long holidays (It's a lot this time!:iconseychelles-plz:): National Apple Month, Bat Appreciation Month, Class Reunion Month, Eat Better, Eat Together Month, Emotional Wellness Month, Gay and Lesbian History Month, German-American Heritage Month, Month of Free Thought, National AIDS Awareness Month, National Bake and Decorate Month, National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, National Caramel Month, National Chili Month, National Kitchen and Bath Month, National Popcorn Poppin' Month, National Protect Your Hearing Month, Pear and Pineapple Month, Photographer Appreciation Month, Pizza Month, Polish-American Heritage Month, Rhizomes and Persimmons Month, Rhubarb Month, Sausage Month, Spinach Lovers Month, National Cookie Month, National Dessert Month, National Pasta Month, National Pretzel Month, National Seafood Month. Some are important causes, some are to make you think and appreciate things you may take for granted, or they're just fun. Interesting holidays this time.

It's been pretty cold this last weekend. It just now reached 60 today. And it looks kind of dreary out there.:iconchibiaustriaplz:I got a new hoodie!:dummy:It's black, and feels nice and fluffy on the inside. My old one's really worn out. So, this was really nice.

Saturday night, I ate at a place I haven't been to since I was in high school.:iconthailandplz:They've expanded a bit. It's called Chung's Teriyaki. I got their beef one. It comes with a side of some cabbage and noodle thing. The beef has a ton of rice under it, and there's another scoop full as the other side. They sprinkle sesame seeds on the top. Really tasty sauce!:iconchibispainplz:Huge portion.:iconusaplz:I barely could eat half of mine. Made for a rather large lunch the next day, as well.

D no Arashi was very interesting, again. The first report was on the tallest elementary student in Japan. He's taller than me!:iconitalyishorrifiedplz:They sent the shortest member of Arashi to do it, so you can see the extremes. (He's actually about my height, so not that short. It might be for guys, I don't know. It's not enough to tease him though.:iconkikuplz:) The 6th grader was 186 cm or about 6'1''. (I don't think even my dad made it quite to that. And, this kid's still growing!) He helps the teachers with cleaning windows and reaching for things no one else can get to. He likes to play basketball too. The other one was on the day a convict is set free after serving some time. Interesting to hear his wife's perspective. They only got through half of that story. So, next week we'll actually get to see him. They'll also do a report on a transgender dad and her family. (Hmmm...this one might hit closer to home than their last trans thing.:iconchibijapanplz:) That'll be interesting.

Gintama was weird, but hilarious! It was about a dating sim, that if you fantasized about the character long enough, she'd come through to the real world. Shinpachi, at the beginning, was unhealthily pulled in by the game. Constantly talking, playing, etc with it. Gintoki decides that he wants to snap Shinpachi out of it. Kondo tells him he can't do so, unless he gets sucked in as well. Gintoki ends up with the ugliest/callous girl in the game. Who shows no feelings towards him. Kondo tells him he should go to a tournament based on the game. If he wins, he may bring Shinpachi back to reality. Funny thing is, a bunch of the other male characters that they know show up. Sa-chan was the only female with a sim, but she turned hers into a Gintoki look-a-like. Sougo showed off his sadist side. Gintoki started to feel even more creeped out when he realized all the guys basically put their fetishes on display. Gintama also had new opening and ending songs. Maybe I'll like them more with time, but personally, I liked the last ones more.:iconswissplz:They also mentioned that Gintama has been back for half a year now. It feels like it just came back still.

Finished Ao no Exorcist on Sunday. They have to make a 2nd season!:iconwtfukplz:It was an awesome show! I've read on anime news network that its been green-lit for an upcoming movie. Yay! Something at least.:icontinoplz:It was kind of an unsatisfying ending. They stopped Satan from taking over the world, but he could still come back. Plus, there's still some mystery behind Mephisto, and Satan's other 'children'. We still didn't get to find out who that kid who's a ventriloquist really is. He only talks through his puppets, and he looks blind to me. Also, just know that he's connected to Mephisto. So many things left unanswered, and so many other things they can do. This series can easily be one of those long ones. At least 60 episodes. We'll see.

Played my clarinet. Actually sounded pretty good today. Chirps actually sounded like chirps. Finally! I'm really liking that new solo book we got. Really fun!:iconicelandfukkiretaplz:

They finally updated Afterschool Charisma! That chapter only took me 5 minutes to read. Wait for so long, only to finish the chapter in 5 minutes?! What's up with that?:iconromanoplz:It was about Kai's background and his clones. Interesting story to read about clones being cloned from clones. Kuroe seemed cruel back then.
In Dansai Bunri no Crime Edge, Kiri and all the high school boys were under some sort of mind control. They had been told to attack any girl they see. Since the building was locked, and Iwai was trapped inside, they went after her. The killing good was called Pet Whip of Submissive Butchery. It's power is domesticated whipping. It only affects men. The vice president was the author. She hates men with a passion. Iwai was able to snap Kiri out of it. And, he starts to fight the vice president. Apparently, the original killer would beat his victims into submission, and starve them to death. Very sadistic, and one of their more disturbing killing goods.

deviantART faves: Gintama- oops Sparrow Brillian Jewel The Bird Spirit bird StupidFox- 56 I did not make these! First, Gintoki and Takasugi being scolded when they were kids. I like Gintoki's expression. He was funny even then. Second and fifth, from an artist I watch. She's practicing how to paint birds now. Really awesome paintings! She's always been great. Third, a hummingbird painting by another artist I watch. Fourth, an awesome looking drawing from yet another artist I watch. I usually don't like the way she does realism. But, this was cool. Sixth, another funny installment of StupidFox.

Memorial Day 2011

Mood::icondenmarkplz:

I don't really consider it a 'happy' day.:iconamericasadchibiplz:So, I'm not putting happy in front of it. This is a day to honor those who have died in our nation's service. They deserve at least a day, if not more, to be remembered.:)

It's been colder today. I hope that soon we'll be at our normal temp again. Not very good weather for picnics or BBQ's, like some people do for the holiday.:no:It feels like it's the coldest Memorial Day that I can remember. Got back into my walking.:la:Already did 2 out of 3 of my walks. My friend, that wanted to be my walking buddy, and I don't seem to be connecting.:iconusaplz:But, I'll keep trying. It seemed like people only looked at the date, and dressed for it. Or maybe they were hoping for it to be normal. They looked cold.:iconcoldrussiaplz: Worked a little on the comic essay in You Maga. Read some more of Dune. Getting a bit more exciting.:eager:

Watched more of Oishii Proposal. Haruki finally kissed Suzuko, and confessed how he felt about her.:love:Now that they know they both are in love, it's making things even more complicated. Michiru's trying to force Haruki to marry her. Suzuko's old flame is telling her not to get involved with him, or she'll get hurt. These 2 and his father are the only ones against them being together. It's getting more and more interesting. I hope it doesn't end in tragedy or something. They're cute together.:iconfrancisplz:
In Letter Bee Reverse, Aria is sent on a delivery. It's been a long time since she's been 'out in the field'. She has absolutely no coordination. Niche reluctantly helps Aria out, after Lag begged her to. Lag has a horrible fever, and lost too much heart to go out for a while. I like Aria's Shindanjuu. A violin used as a weapon? Awesome to me! The only problem is she has to have an immense amount of concentration for it to work. I saw her towards the beginning of the series, and she usually uses her violin to heal people.
In Afterschool Charisma, the students are still recovering from the terrorist attack. Nightingale's trying to make sense of what it means to them if they fail as clones. Mozart has gone back to playing. He figures, if he can't control how things go anyway, he might as well do what he knows how to do. Hitler's getting more twisted. (Much like his original.) He tried to kill Rasputin by stuffing a bunch of 'All Mighty Dollies' down his throat. The pic's of Hitler and Shiro just after he did it. Next chapter isn't up yet, so if that's still the case next week, I'll start another manga. I'll go back to this when they update it.

Chinese Language

Mood::iconhongkongplz:

Or: Zong Guo Hua. By S.H.E. They're a Taiwanese girl group, who's members are Selina Ren, Hebe Tian, and Ella Chen. The name of the group came from the first letter of each member's name. Their first album was released in 2001, and has since recorded 10 albums. They're apparently very popular, not just in Taiwan or China. They've acted in 7 dramas, hosted 2 variety shows, and contributed 10 songs to 6 drama soundtracks. Thanks to their success, other Taiwanese record labels began forming their own girl groups. This song is basically just Chinese tongue twisters. They sound really interesting, and I like their sound.:iconchibinitalyplz:I'm not used to Cpop, though. Maybe I'll like their other songs, and check out some other Cpop artists. I like this Hetalia tribute to China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong more than the band's pv. (In fact, it introduced me to them.:iconicelandmochiplz:) Plus, it has English subs:

It's gone back to being cold outside. Again, about 10 degrees below our norm.:iconwtfromanoplz:Only had about 2 or 3 days of our norm this past month. I felt too upset yesterday to post. Someone really hurt me, and it's taking a while to 'get over it'. Plus, it doesn't help that I have my 'monthly friend'. I decided to gather my courage and email them about it. I'm a little reluctant to read their response I just got a few minutes ago.:iconchibilithuaniaplz:I'm trying to not let this person get to me today. I've got too many things to do, and so little time.:iconnorwayunimpressedplz:I won't let them hold me back. Sorry, I just had to get that out there. I don't usually say much about these things.:iconpolandplz:

I was even too upset to search for something to make for dinner yesterday. So, I made fish sticks and mashed potatoes from their boxes and some green beans. It was good, and I didn't have to do much for it.:iconchibiamericaplz:Today, I'm hoping to actually cook something from my list. I've already gotten some comments saying, "why haven't you posted anything lately?" Plus, it's a good confidence booster, and makes me generally happy.:iconchibicanadaplz:

Went to the B'not Mitzvot on Saturday. It was really nice. And, I liked a lot of their speeches. The synagogue was packed full of members of the congregation, and family and friends of the 4 women. The food was just ok. Dessert looked like it would be so good, but it was kind of disappointing as well.:iconusaplz:But, the food wasn't what we came there for.:icontinoplz:They did great. Also, found out one of our members is an author. She told me if I have any questions, to ask her on FB. So, that's pretty awesome!:iconfrancisplz:I felt like I was talking shop with her, or something.:iconsleepygreeceplz:Another member we know pretty well, ran up to me, gave me her card, and told me to call her if I needed anything. Like, if my parents aren't there or can't help. It was very nice. She left almost as quickly as she had ran up to me.:iconkikuplz:

Mom sounded like she had fun when they went to a fancy restaurant for her birthday. Which is great! She deserves it.:hug:I just had those awesome frozen Tony's Philly Cheese Steak things. Pretty happy with just those.:dummy:Also, watched the season finale of Bones. (Crazy that she's pregnant! But, awesome at the same time!) So, it wasn't a horrible night for me either.:iconicelandfukkiretaplz:

Found a few more songs on Sunday. Also, played a little of the Sims 2. I'm thinking of making another family. Maybe of just one person. See if I can get them matched up with someone. I'm almost caught up to the most current update of Afterschool Charisma. After this chapter, I'll have to put it on hold until the next one's put out. I never thought I'd catch up. Funny how I've caught up with a couple of mangas now. This one seems to be updated once a month, too. I'll have to start some other series in the meantime.:iconchibisitalyplz:I guess it mixes it up a bit.

Letter Bee Reverse was awesome!:la:They may have gotten Gauche back. He's in a coma, so they can't tell if he's regained his heart. Lag went nuts, and he started to glow and turned into a bright light. Niche is back, and better than before. Roda finally gained part of her heart back. But, she killed herself. Lame.:iconchibijapanplz:

Worked a bit on the You Maga article on stress relieving exercises. Also, worked on chapter 13. I'm not sure, but I think I might end this chapter soon.:hmm:There's still so many directions this story can go, so I'm still positive it might turn into a series. I just have to finish this first book.:iconheroamericaplz:That person I found out was an author, said one of her friends took 25 years for his first novel.:iconitalyishorrifiedplz:I really really hope it doesn't take that long. She said I'm doing pretty well for how long I've been working on it. So, yay!:dummy: Also, got a really nice random comment on dA. Saying my art looks very cute, and my cooking looks amazing.:blush:Another comment that made my day.

deviantART faves: Hey you little buddy My.Friend Japannn Hetalia MeMe- Heritage BLANK you feel the bubbles? I did not make these! First, a very cute pic of a black kitten. Second, it's a little macabre, but a cute drawing based on Hetalia. By another person I watch. Third, a really nice drawing of Japan from Hetalia. I like their style. Fourth, like it says, a Hetalia meme on your family background. That should be interesting to do. I'll have to be a little creative when I do this, because there's a couple countries that I'm pretty sure don't have an official 'design' yet. Fifth, pics of an interesting looking chocolate candy.
