Or, Uta Utai. An original song sung by the Kaito Vocaloid. (They do a lot of covers.) A really pretty, and amazing sounding song.
Shows his range well. Doesn't sound too computer-like either. I like when they get his voice to sound more 'human'. Someone said in the comments for the vid about the lyrics, that it's Vocaloid in a nutshell. I agree.
Well, here's the vid:
It actually got a bit warm yesterday. Even though it looked freezing out. Weird. It's doing pretty much the same thing today. Parents left a little later than they expected yesterday. Hope things are going well at the retreat. I got a surprising amount of stuff done yesterday. Wahoo!
I managed to work on things like my character sheets, building descriptions, editing of Alliance, and planning the next oc face I'll be working on. All related to my story.
Finished 'book 1' of Dune. Really part 1 of the first book. Next 'book' is Muad'Dib. I think I might move on to another book, and once I'm finished with that, go back to 'book 2'. That way I'll get to read something that feels 'fresher'. I think at about 200 pages it's ok to stop for now.
Next one on my list's Timeline. If I remember correctly, it sounded like it'll be awesome. I think I've seen the movie, and it was pretty good. They say the original book versions are usually better, so that should be fun.
Started writing out and translating the contents page of the June edition of You Maga. Thought it'd be interesting. And, it is so far. Afterschool Charisma finally had the next chapter up!
Only took me like 5 minutes to read it though. Waited a whole month for that.
Oh, well. Good thing I'm reading other mangas in between updates.
Went through another cookbook. The way it was laid out, was really heard to read. But, I found some things. It's an American/Canadian cooking club cookbook compilation of all it's members' submitted recipes. Really old, too. Like from early 70s I think. So, they're recipes are worded really oddly.
Ate the leftover sausage and sweet pepper thing I made a while back and had it with pasta for last night's dinner. There's still a ton of pasta leftover, since I made the whole package, and obviously only had a serving. I'm not sure what I'll have tonight, though.
Parents are coming home late, so they're eating out.
Delicious Gakuin was bizarre, yet hilarious. I kind feel sorry for them. Rouma's got to be one of the weirdest characters. He likes to eat onions raw.
I think he likes to eat anything raw, actually. He always carries an old dirty frying pan, and has a name for it.
Played my clarinet for an hour again! Yay!
I definitely feel more 'into' it when I play for that long. And, I'm improving quickly. Played some Mozart and Beatles tunes. The Beatles book is really oddly written. Went over chirps. It's been a long time since I've stopped and worked on them. They're faster than trills, so they're a lot more difficult. I'm also going over my really high notes. It's not that I've forgotten how to do these things, it's just I've been skipping over them for a long time.
So, I'm a little rusty. If I keep practicing them, I'll be caught up to what I was like before.
In Gosick, Victorique's forced to go to class. She calls Avril a farting newt, after Avril taunted her. Later, Avril calls her a frilly witch. Kind of funny.
Leviathan's been long dead, and was a phony alchemist. He was a good magician, though. Conveniently, another magician shows up at the clock tower where Victorique's investigating. He's been after her for a while, but couldn't do anything at the clock tower because the maintenance guy popped in. This magician is also in the opening theme. Where he eventually kidnaps her. Wonder if that comes true?
In Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, sensei talked about the Ringelmann effect. It's when many people work together, the amount of work each individual does decreases. People end up slacking off. Example, they discovered over 6000 marine species and you care less and less about new ones. Another, when the page number's big, you start skimming. Next, the students were playing tug-of-war, with sensei being the one tugged in both directions. The students were yelling he belongs to us. It was about unfair decisions.
deviantART fave: -Chibi America- A really cute drawing of Chibi America (or when America was little), from Hetalia.

A really awesome amv about the Yoshiwara Arc in Gintama:

Yay for macaroons!
They're one of the few things I can tolerate coconut flakes in. There's many different flavors, and it's popular around the world. I like the chocolate ones the most.
They were created in an Italian monastery in 1792.
It's been cold and rainy today. Funny, because I actually feel good.
Weather doesn't match my mood. We had hamburgers and grilled corn on the cob. Good stuff!
I personally like to cut the kernels off, and eat them in big chunks. Still tastes good, and I don't get too much stuff stuck between my teeth.
We also roasted marshmallows over the stove. I love setting mine on fire.
And, then when it gets nice and crispy on the outside, yet gooey still in the middle. It was awesome!
But, I burned my lips. Badly enough I needed to put something like Blistex on them.
Don't know what I'll make tonight yet.
Someone I knew from high school found and friended me on FB. Kind of nice.
Watched Hanayome wa Yakudoshi. I feel sorry for Ichiro.
He confesses his feelings to Akiko, and she tells him that she doesn't feel anything for him. Which isn't true. She loves him too. Not only that, but Mettv made a mockery of his family. But, Akiko found out that the tapes still haven't been aired, and took them. Jiro and Momoko have already forgiven Akiko. At the end of the episode, she rushes over to help the family protect their peaches from a typhoon that's rolling in. Yukie still doesn't forgive her, and she was told before to never set foot on the farm again. So, it'll be interesting to see how this plays out.
Worked more on the comic essay in You Maga. It's kind of a fun one to do. Read a bit of Dune. Paul's sounding kind of creepy at the moment.
In Gosick, even though Victorique was sick with a cold at home, she managed to help solve the case. Kujo did most of the work, though. I have a feeling he probably would have been smart enough to figure it out on his own. But, the detective didn't entire believe him, and he trusts his sister. They saved all the kids from being auctioned off, and found the stolen jewelry. Kujo bought a glass slipper as a souvenir for Victorique. She's apparently using as a pipe holder. I'm starting to really like this series. I think it was just testing the waters with people at first. It seemed weak at the beginning. Now, it's like they're getting the hang of it. I realized it's still an ongoing series, so that should be interesting.

In Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, Rin takes the class on a tour of Poower Spots. Spots that are depressing and energy draining just stepping foot in. (Poower came from Poor Luck.) Spots like a vending machine with an empty display. The cell phone shop that fits in a surprisingly narrow space. Bench under a streetlight flickering. They decide sensei himself is a mobile Poower Spot. He makes everyone depressed and have poor luck around him. Eventually, Kafuka decides that if she throws enough negative people into a pit, they'll be turned into positive energy spots. She says, after all 2 negatives equal a positive. She pushes most of the class in a pit. They come out energized and happy looking. The area had warning signs around it, because there's laughing gas emitting from the pit. She's so demented.
deviantART faves: Strawberry Gateau Time Hi Panda China and Hong Kong Teacup Kitties Yotsubato First, an awesome pic of an amazing looking strawberry cake. Second, a funny comic with China and Hong Kong from Hetalia. Third, cute drawings of kittens in teacups. This is the same artist I watch, who did the truffle bunnies as a countdown for Chinese New Year's. I like most of their stuff. Fourth, a really warm drawing of Yotsuba and her father by someone I watch. I loved that manga. Too bad it seems to be hard to find, and there's not much of a fan base over here.

I don't really consider it a 'happy' day.
So, I'm not putting happy in front of it. This is a day to honor those who have died in our nation's service. They deserve at least a day, if not more, to be remembered.
It's been colder today. I hope that soon we'll be at our normal temp again. Not very good weather for picnics or BBQ's, like some people do for the holiday.
It feels like it's the coldest Memorial Day that I can remember. Got back into my walking.
Already did 2 out of 3 of my walks. My friend, that wanted to be my walking buddy, and I don't seem to be connecting.
But, I'll keep trying. It seemed like people only looked at the date, and dressed for it. Or maybe they were hoping for it to be normal. They looked cold.
Worked a little on the comic essay in You Maga. Read some more of Dune. Getting a bit more exciting.
Watched more of Oishii Proposal. Haruki finally kissed Suzuko, and confessed how he felt about her.
Now that they know they both are in love, it's making things even more complicated. Michiru's trying to force Haruki to marry her. Suzuko's old flame is telling her not to get involved with him, or she'll get hurt. These 2 and his father are the only ones against them being together. It's getting more and more interesting. I hope it doesn't end in tragedy or something. They're cute together.
In Letter Bee Reverse, Aria is sent on a delivery. It's been a long time since she's been 'out in the field'. She has absolutely no coordination. Niche reluctantly helps Aria out, after Lag begged her to. Lag has a horrible fever, and lost too much heart to go out for a while. I like Aria's Shindanjuu. A violin used as a weapon? Awesome to me! The only problem is she has to have an immense amount of concentration for it to work. I saw her towards the beginning of the series, and she usually uses her violin to heal people.

In Afterschool Charisma, the students are still recovering from the terrorist attack. Nightingale's trying to make sense of what it means to them if they fail as clones. Mozart has gone back to playing. He figures, if he can't control how things go anyway, he might as well do what he knows how to do. Hitler's getting more twisted. (Much like his original.) He tried to kill Rasputin by stuffing a bunch of 'All Mighty Dollies' down his throat. The pic's of Hitler and Shiro just after he did it. Next chapter isn't up yet, so if that's still the case next week, I'll start another manga. I'll go back to this when they update it.

Yay for Devil's Food cake!
Do you really need a reason to indulge in that stuff? It was introduced to the US in 1900. Too bad we're not having that for dessert.
It's been really nice and warm the last couple of days. Hovering around 70. Yay!
Nice time to start walking again. I was trying to for a while, but I think this gave me some more motivation. It's funny how warm it is outside, but the house is still cold inside. I kind of like that when it gets in the 90s, but now it's a bit different.
Worked a bit more on that comic essay in You Maga. And, read a bit more of Dune.
Made this Tuesday night. Pic didn't turn out too well. This is the tuna loaf I talked about before. With some white sauce (margarine/flour/milk), Italian Herb Risotto (from a box), and some peas. We didn't really like the new risotto flavor.
The loaf was really good, and seemed 'unique'.
Had a lot of bread crumbs, canned tuna, lemon juice, egg, cayenne, and parsley in it. Came from the same cookbook as the muffins did.
Watched the last episode of Proposal Daisakusen. It was a bit painful to watch. Ken finally confessed to Rei, but it was at her wedding. He was asked to give a speech, as her best friend. After going back and forth from the past to the present; he realized he should try to 'win her over' in the present. Although, all the things he changed as he went back into the past greatly impacted the present. Rei realized she was the one that wasn't being honest with herself, and ran after Ken who left after his speech. At the very end, the taxi he's in runs out of gas, and he's forced to help push it to a gas station. Just then you hear Rei shout "Ken-zou!" And he smiles. They don't show her. And they end it right there. But, there's a special that I'll watch next week. Hopefully, they get married or something in it. I feel really bad for Tada.
He was an honestly nice guy. Hopefully, he'll find someone too.
Hana Kimi just keeps getting funnier. I like how they've added things that normally would be in manga or anime. Like the nose bleed thing, the sparkles, etc. I actually like Nakatsu more than Sano. His crush on Ashiya's only getting stronger. Sano just looks pained most of the time. I like him, though. The other guys are pretty quirky and funny as well. The guy that can see auras and dead people's kind of cute, yet creepy. This time the guys were asked to help at a beachside resort.
In Naruto Shippuden, nothing much happened. Sakura set off to kill Sasuke on her own. Then, most of it were her flashbacks of Sasuke. And, at the end she sees him. Tells him she wants to desert Konoha and join him. I know what she's doing, but it's really stupid. It would have been nice to see a bit more action.

In Dear, Carol talked a little about his past. Apparently on the demon continent, children have the choice whether to go to school or not. He seemed to have a normal happy life until he was 11. When his parents divorced. After that, he felt like nothing was real, and spent most of his time dozing off. While things were being 'worked out' he was forced to live at a church, that also served as an orphanage. He was one of the oldest kids. And, the others didn't quite understand why he was so depressed. He started to feel better, being around such happy kids. Yuima, who was the same age, had been at the orphanage the longest. He was like a big brother to everyone, but always seemed to be staring at something far away. When Carol finally asked about it, he said he looks at a lot of things, like the sky. He just thought it was beautiful. He seems to feel what he sees and hears more than anyone else. Carol's mom decides that he'll stay with his father. Carol decides to join the army instead. Yuima gave him hope for the future. Kurenai was Carols roommate after he joined the army. Carol still visits Yuima every so often. I like his story, maybe more so than the others. Well, sadly they don't have the next chapter up on mangafox, so I had to stop. A lot of other sites don't have it up yet either. Noticed that they've been posting a chapter a month. So, maybe it will be up soon? Crazy how I've caught up to what they have up. If it's not up next week, I'll put it on hold until it is. But, I'll start another manga in the meantime.
deviantART faves: Pink Magician .:Happy New Year:. Embrace the Music I did not make these! First, a really cool old drawing of an oc by an artist I watch. It doesn't have their signature almost watercolor look. Which makes it even more interesting. Second, a hilarious drawing of Russia, Estonia, Lithuania, and Latvia from Hetalia. Third, an awesome drawing of the vocaloid Miku, by another artist I watch.
Youtube:
I liked this one, simply because it was about how much they like Natto. (I'm a little afraid of the stuff.) Song is sung by the Rin and Len vocaloids. Not sure I like the way they sing it, either. It's just funny:
