Remote Controller

Mood::iconhappychinaplz:

Or: Rimokon. Sung by the Vocaloids, Rin and Len Kagamine. Been a long time since I've found a Vocaloid song that I really like.:meow:It kind of doesn't make much sense, even in Japanese. It sounds somewhat sinister though. I think with them ordering the audience to sit down and control them, is pretty much the gist.:icondenmarkplz:This was originally on Nico Nico Douga. Like a Japanese Youtube. I have an account on that one too. I'm still getting used to their system. Too bad you can't share with people who aren't connected to that site.:iconromanoplz:

It's nice and bright outside today.:iconchibihungaryplz:Kind of deceiving, because it's still pretty cold. Had a really scary dream, but when I woke up, I felt really happy. Kind of weird.:iconseychelles-plz:Maybe I just needed it out of my system? I felt good enough to go for a walk! Maybe I'll go for another one later. Speaking of walks, one of my old friends used to walk with me to and from school when we were in junior high up through high school. She asked on FB yesterday if I wanted a walking buddy again. It's been so long, it'd be nice to catch up, and at the same time my walks might be even more enjoyable.:iconthailandplz:She told me she does 3 miles a day. I doubt I do that when I'm doing my normal walks. I don't really measure it. I just try to walk 3 times a day, after breakfast, lunch, and dinner. When I was sticking to that routine, I lost a lot of weight. I hope I can get back into it.:iconberwaldplz:It's nice to say hello to people, and look at the ever changing scenery. It's kind of calming.
This is Beef Lo Mein. Another tasty one.:drool:Garlicky, sweet, and meaty. Good stuff!:iconchibispainplz:I've already gotten a comment on it on FB. And, 5 faves on dA. I just thought it would be like 1 fave.:omg:So, it's another thing that made my day!:dummy:FB really distorted it, though.

Watched the Proposal Daisakusen special last night. I'm finally done with that series! Most of the series was a bit painful to watch. This special was awesome!:la:I can see why it won a few awards in Japan. There was happy endings all around. It ended with Ken finally proposing to Rei. (She said yes.) It was a romantic way of doing it too.:aww:The fairy told him, if she says yes, to hold the wedding at a church in Spain. So, he can watch it. They need to make another special to show their wedding. I loved their friends too. They seemed to have more sense than they did.

Wrote some more of chapter 13. Nearing the end of the chapter, and then I'll have to edit it.:work:Played some more Irish and Klezmer tunes. Getting back into the groove of playing Klezmer.:iconchibiamericaplz:It has a certain feel, that other genres don't quite have. So, it feels different. But, it's good practice for me to go back and forth through 2 different genres of music. Dear hasn't been updated, so I looked at another series called Dohran. The premise had so much potential, but it was kind of boring. So, I went around looking for possible mangas to read next. Came up with a couple to put to my list, but didn't have time to 'preview' them.
日本語
Finished another sentence from the You Maga article on stress relieving exercises. About halfway through the next one. リンパの流れを意識した運動は、春先のアレルギー症状軽減にも効果が。(Rinpa no nagare o ishikishita undou wa, harusaki no arerugii shoujou keigen nimo kouka ga.) Conscious movement of the lymph flow is also effective in reducing allergy symptoms in early spring.

In Naruto Shippuden, not much happened.:| (Blank Stare)It was mostly Naruto's flashbacks of Sasuke. Earlier he had passed out, because he was so worried about Sasuke, and thinking about what to do with him; he just couldn't take it any more. Once he recuperated a little, he sneaked out and followed the path Sakura and Kakashi went to see Sasuke. It was kind of a boring episode.:iconnorwayunimpressedplz:Next one, looks like it'll be from Kakashi's perspective.

National Devil's Food Cake Day!

Mood::iconsleepygreeceplz:

Yay for Devil's Food cake!:la:Do you really need a reason to indulge in that stuff? It was introduced to the US in 1900. Too bad we're not having that for dessert.:iconkikuplz:

It's been really nice and warm the last couple of days. Hovering around 70. Yay!:dummy:Nice time to start walking again. I was trying to for a while, but I think this gave me some more motivation. It's funny how warm it is outside, but the house is still cold inside. I kind of like that when it gets in the 90s, but now it's a bit different.

Worked a bit more on that comic essay in You Maga. And, read a bit more of Dune.
Made this Tuesday night. Pic didn't turn out too well. This is the tuna loaf I talked about before. With some white sauce (margarine/flour/milk), Italian Herb Risotto (from a box), and some peas. We didn't really like the new risotto flavor.:no:The loaf was really good, and seemed 'unique'.:iconchibinitalyplz:Had a lot of bread crumbs, canned tuna, lemon juice, egg, cayenne, and parsley in it. Came from the same cookbook as the muffins did.

Watched the last episode of Proposal Daisakusen. It was a bit painful to watch. Ken finally confessed to Rei, but it was at her wedding. He was asked to give a speech, as her best friend. After going back and forth from the past to the present; he realized he should try to 'win her over' in the present. Although, all the things he changed as he went back into the past greatly impacted the present. Rei realized she was the one that wasn't being honest with herself, and ran after Ken who left after his speech. At the very end, the taxi he's in runs out of gas, and he's forced to help push it to a gas station. Just then you hear Rei shout "Ken-zou!" And he smiles. They don't show her. And they end it right there. But, there's a special that I'll watch next week. Hopefully, they get married or something in it. I feel really bad for Tada.:iconwtfromanoplz:He was an honestly nice guy. Hopefully, he'll find someone too.

Hana Kimi just keeps getting funnier. I like how they've added things that normally would be in manga or anime. Like the nose bleed thing, the sparkles, etc. I actually like Nakatsu more than Sano. His crush on Ashiya's only getting stronger. Sano just looks pained most of the time. I like him, though. The other guys are pretty quirky and funny as well. The guy that can see auras and dead people's kind of cute, yet creepy. This time the guys were asked to help at a beachside resort.
In Naruto Shippuden, nothing much happened. Sakura set off to kill Sasuke on her own. Then, most of it were her flashbacks of Sasuke. And, at the end she sees him. Tells him she wants to desert Konoha and join him. I know what she's doing, but it's really stupid. It would have been nice to see a bit more action.
In Dear, Carol talked a little about his past. Apparently on the demon continent, children have the choice whether to go to school or not. He seemed to have a normal happy life until he was 11. When his parents divorced. After that, he felt like nothing was real, and spent most of his time dozing off. While things were being 'worked out' he was forced to live at a church, that also served as an orphanage. He was one of the oldest kids. And, the others didn't quite understand why he was so depressed. He started to feel better, being around such happy kids. Yuima, who was the same age, had been at the orphanage the longest. He was like a big brother to everyone, but always seemed to be staring at something far away. When Carol finally asked about it, he said he looks at a lot of things, like the sky. He just thought it was beautiful. He seems to feel what he sees and hears more than anyone else. Carol's mom decides that he'll stay with his father. Carol decides to join the army instead. Yuima gave him hope for the future. Kurenai was Carols roommate after he joined the army. Carol still visits Yuima every so often. I like his story, maybe more so than the others. Well, sadly they don't have the next chapter up on mangafox, so I had to stop. A lot of other sites don't have it up yet either. Noticed that they've been posting a chapter a month. So, maybe it will be up soon? Crazy how I've caught up to what they have up. If it's not up next week, I'll put it on hold until it is. But, I'll start another manga in the meantime.

deviantART faves: Pink Magician .:Happy New Year:. Embrace the Music I did not make these! First, a really cool old drawing of an oc by an artist I watch. It doesn't have their signature almost watercolor look. Which makes it even more interesting. Second, a hilarious drawing of Russia, Estonia, Lithuania, and Latvia from Hetalia. Third, an awesome drawing of the vocaloid Miku, by another artist I watch.

Youtube:
I liked this one, simply because it was about how much they like Natto. (I'm a little afraid of the stuff.) Song is sung by the Rin and Len vocaloids. Not sure I like the way they sing it, either. It's just funny:

National Orange Juice Day!

Mood: :iconchibipolandplz:

Yay for orange juice!:dummy:I like the taste, but I just can't have too much of it. (Long story short...it gets nasty.:iconhongkongplz:) Kind of like how eating fresh pineapple tastes amazing, but cuts up my mouth. So sad!:iconsadrussia:Although, I seem to be able to eat it cooked in something without any problem. And, I can eat a whole orange without having the same reaction. Weird. Orange juice is very good for you. So if you can, drink up! If not, I hope having a whole orange will suffice.:iconpolandplz:It's also Respect for Chickens Day, and Star Wars Day.

Yesterday, I was out for most of the day. So, didn't have much time to post.:iconnorwayunimpressedplz:Finally did that blood test I was supposed to do last month. I hate those.:iconchibichinaplz:We either have no problem and it's quick. Or, they can't find my veins and they roll. This time she had no problem finding a vein, but it hurt a bit more than normal. Oh well. At least it's done.:iconchibicanadaplz:

After that, we spent a while at one of the grocery stores. I hate the design of the store, but they have a lot of good deals and some awesome stuff.:iconchibinitalyplz:Some of the best prices on meat in town. Also, got a Snicker's Cake. Oh, it was sooo good!:iconchibispainplz:Lots of caramel and chocolate with some Snicker's candy sections on top. Dad didn't want a piece, so it leaves one more night for my mom and I to have it. Yay!:la:

Got the results from my test today. Apparently, I'm the healthiest I've been in 4 or 5 years, if not longer. (They won't let me see results taken before that.) Wahoo! Another thing to be happy about!:woohoo:My glucose, calcium, creatinine, and total protein levels were all the lowest they've been on the chart. So, now they're all pretty much in the middle range for normal. So, I don't have any problems with my kidneys, and can keep taking my meds.:iconthailandplz:It was just an annual thing, nothing that we were worried about. Just to make sure. I don't know what I would do if I couldn't have these meds.:icongermanyplz:They've been great for me.
Made this a couple of days ago. First pic is of the chicken dumplings before I put it into the pureed corn soup. Second, obviously, is after they're put in. Both the soup and dumplings were Japanese recipes, but they were from different books. Turned out to be the perfect combo.:iconfrancisplz:The black stuff on the dumplings is nori or seaweed. Really loved those dumplings!:iconitalyplz:The soup was good, but needed more corn and mustard. I was surprised at how much miso was in it, too. Mom helped with pureeing the corn. It's actually gotten a few faves on dA already. So did those other pics from last time. I guess it takes a while to get through people's deviation stacks.:deviation:I know I get over 1000 deviations in my inbox every other day, and most of the time can't get through them all in one sitting. So, I understand.

Watched more of Proposal Daisakusen. I'm starting to not like Rei. Ken is trying so hard to 'win her over', and she loves him, but she keeps rejecting him. She knows very little about Tada, and accepts his proposal without thinking too much about it. Tada seems to be a really nice guy. Which makes it hard for Ken to 'fight' him. It's emotionally draining just watching it. I like his friends a lot. They know how to lighten the mood. And one of them already knows about his time travelling thing, and has helped him a few times. I really hope it has a happy ending for everyone.
In Fairy Tail, the guild managed to come together and destroy the 'Hall of Thunder'. But, they were also shocked and knocked out in the process. The guild master is dying. Natsu and Gajeel are fighting Laxus. (In pic.) They find out that Laxus is also a Dragon Slayer. Laxus invoked Fairy Law, wiping out everyone. The episode ended right there. Kind of disturbing.
In O-parts Hunter, Shuri's going to be 'erased', because the organization he's a part of is embarrassed he didn't win and is still alive. This round was Jio vs Ball. Satan tried to take over and kill Ball. Ball fainted, but Jio saved him and won the round. Peacock showed up out of no where and started attacking Jio, because he found out that he has Satan. Icaros kidnaps Ruby. Thinking at first that she's the key to getting Satan under control. But, realizes she's even more valuable when she starts reading off the runes next to her. Very few people have the ability to read them.

Worked some more on that You Maga article on my horoscope. It's interesting. The sentence I finished, talked about how I should exercise or breathe according to my sign. The next one looks like it talks about what would be a healthy diet. I didn't know it would get that detailed.:iconchibijapanplz:I thought it would be like just about luck, love, finances, etc. Read some more of Dune. It's getting more exciting.

Got up really early today. I just felt wide awake. Couldn't go back to sleep, so why not just get up.:iconheroamericaplz:I've been trying to get more sleep by going to bed early lately, but I stayed up longer last night. So, it seemed odd to me. It sounds weird, but I'm thinking of going to bed at 10 most nights. Sometimes I feel I don't get enough sleep, and I don't want to sleep in again. It wastes too much time.:iconchibiswedenplz:
