Beautiful Sunday (Again)

Mood:MSN Onion Emoticons

Sung by the Kaito Vocaloid. Another feel good song from him. It's good to hear, especially when you're not feeling well, like today. My throat's very sore, I feel weak, and I have these weird pressure headaches. It might just be allergies or something. It doesn't feel really bad, at least. I got an email from みんなのきょうの料理 or Today Menu for Everybody. I didn't remember that they would email me recommendations on recipes. Pretty cool!MSN Onion IconTheir theme this week is pasta. One of their lines for it was: "Everybody loves a lot of pasta!" Onion IconNext week's theme is going to be Golden week, I think. (It might also be Mother's Day themed, not sure if that's for the week after that. Still pretty cool!) They called me sama after my name. MSN Onion IconsNow, I understand san, but sama, really? Onion IconsIt's a much higher or polite honorific than san. It even had some of their chef's basic recipes, that they use often. There's even a ranking for best recipe. This week's was Spaghetti Pomodoro. It looked awfully good! Onion Icon

I finished working on another sentence from the grill's manual. 本製品は、食材を焼く時に使用する焼き網です。(hon seihin ha, shokuzai wo yaku tokini shiyousuru yakiami desu.) I still have it in a pretty raw form of translation: This product, the ingredients to grill sometimes use griddle. Or, Grilling ingedients in this product sometimes use griddle. So, I'm still working on it.

In Gintama, Seimei battles Doman. Really cool what Semei can do. Eventually, Doman's engulfed in flames. He has a flashback. He used to be very good friends with Seimei, and hoped for the 2 families to get along. He was forced into fighting Seimei, because of his family putting an enormous amount of pressure on him. Back to present, he survives and transforms into Antenmaru. A shikigami, where he's considered a G-d to them. As Seimei thinks he's about to die he tells Doman that he just wanted to stay friends too. Just then, Gintoki saves him, even though he's still in a lot of pain. Then, he starts attacking Antenmaru. Gedoumaru said that no one can break Gintoki's spirit. (This anime has a lot of cool moments when Gintoki gets 'serious'. One of the many reasons why I love this show.Onion Icons)

I played Bug War 2. It's a fun and very addicting strategy game. It's your bugs against another. They start you out with bees. You have to protect and add more hives.

Mission in Taisakusen (Again)

Mood:Onion Icon

By Orange Range. Still a funny and great song. Things were a bit crazy the last couple of days. I'm not going into too much detail of what I did during the day on Tuesday. Here's an overview: wrote more of chapter 10 and came up with a cool name for a new character. Read Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei. Played some Beatles songs up to All You Need Is Love. Finished the first sentence of the grill's user manual, and did 4 more sentences. Watched Kuroshitsuji- introduced to Pluto. Also, played a few games.

Then, there was a Hadassah meeting. We didn't get much done in the 'business' part of the meeting. I guess that's ok. There was a potluck too. My mom made a bean salad thing with kidney beans. It's very good! Has balsamic vinegar, onions, and tarragon, too. There was also a good mac and cheese. This one was kind of dressed up more than the stuff from a box. Also, had bread crumbs on top. The other stuff was a bit odd. There were spinach patties on a stick with asparagus and red pepper. Sounds good, but somehow the pattie was horrible! I love spinach, so it was a bit surprising. There was a sweet kugel, which I hate usually. Also, a pretty good normal salad with pecans and goat cheese. There were lots of different types of fruit, and carrot cake for dessert. So, dessert was good, too. It was also a nice social meeting. The 'event' for that meeting was Mah Jong. I don't want to play it or learn it, so I brought my own games. I brought Rummikub, hoping someone will want to play with me. The one person I know that doesn't like it either, said she didn't feel like playing anything. Another person said they were learning how to play Mah Jong. So, I didn't get a chance to play, but talked with people.

I had a horrible night that night while trying to sleep. When I woke up, I was sick to my stomach, and a bit weak. So, I think something I had at the meeting made me a bit sick. I was a bit better later on. Although, I had internet problems all day. Which was frustrating. A good point about that day was I made Tasha purr. She barely ever purrs. I thought she was mad at me for trying to play with her, then she purred, and her whole face looked like it was melting. It was nice.

Today, I also wrote more of on chapter 10. I couldn't stop typing, I just had too many great ideas coming out.

In Dear, Kisara's Captain was introduced. His name's Cain Clevart. He loves everything that's 'beautiful'. And, thinks everyone on the force, except for Kisara, is ugly. He gives Chiruha a present when he notices her, saying she's cute. Later, he asks if she can prove that she really is a Lycanthrope. She shows him her fangs, movements, and ears. He says it's still not enough, and asks her on a date. To get to 'know' her better. They have a lot of fun. At the end of this date, she jumps over a bridge into the water, just to find a souvenir for Kisara. The captain can't seem to 'evaluate' her yet. He throws a welcoming party for her at his mansion. After having alcohol for the first time, Chiruha passes out. While she's out cold, Kisara thinks it's the best time to kill her. As he's choking her, some of his memories come flooding back, and he stops. Demons are about to attack the village. Kisara's job is to hold them off, while the force uses a canon aiming for both the demons and Kisara. He's immortal, so he's used as a 'sacrificial pawn'. Better than people thinking they had to destroy him before he met the captain. A Lycanthrope had made him immortal, and he wants revenge. (That's why he's been trying to kill her.) His memories come flooding back again while he's making his way to the demons. He met Chiruha at a shrine where the priestesses were taking care of her. They  thought she was a living G-d that grants immortality. Kisara and Chiruha would play and hang out for a while. When Kisara found out she's being physically abused by the villagers, he takes her away to a vacant house. That house is where she stays until the beginning of the story.

I finished translating another sentence for the grill's manual. この取扱説明書は大切に保等してください。(Kono tori atsukai setsu mei sho ha tai setsu ni tou shite kudasai.) Basically, please keep this user's manual in good condition.

In Naruto Shipuuden, one of Pain's bodies was successfully found in the toad Jiraiya sent to Konoha. They're going to do an autopsy on it. Naruto believes at least the 9 in the code is actually the katakana letter for ta or タ. This is because Jiraiya had a bad habit of being a bit lazy with his handwriting, and Naruto saw it every time Jiraiya wanted him read his manuscripts. They figure out that it refers to the book Jiraiya was writing while he trained Naruto: Make-out Tactics. Each number clue represents a page number. They looked at the first character for each page, and came up with 'The Real One's Not Among Them'. Naruto wants to avenge Jiraiya. The toad sage wants to train Naruto in Sage Jutsu, the same Jutsu Jiraiya learned. He believes Naruto is the only one who can defeat Pain. He begins his training learning about nature chakra, a type where you gather energy from outside of the body. This really reminded me of Yoda. They say in order to 'become one with nature', you have to die.

After that, we went to Costco. We got a butt-load of good stuff! Just had panko breaded fish (we got from there), ramen, and green beans. Finished it off with those awesome cranberry, oatmeal, and brown sugar moist cookies. We also got some pre-made Falafels and Tzatziki sauce to have with it. Thinking about making a sandwich with it for lunch tomorrow. If you've never had it, you're missing out big time! There's a lot of other good stuff.

DeviantART faves: Free Peonies Modotte I did not make these! The first is an awesome drawing of America from Hetalia. Next, is a beautiful drawing of China from Hetalia. Last, is of Kamui and Kangura from Gintama, when they were little. Very nicely done too.

Pechika -Kokoro Tomoshite-

Mood:Onion Icon

From Russia's Hetalia Character CD. I'm surprised I haven't put this one up yet. MSN Onion IconsIt's one of my faves! MSN Onion EmoticonsPechika is a borrowed word from the Russian Pechka, which is a Russian fireplace. The rest of it means Light My Heart.Onion IconsSeems really upbeat, and makes you want to dance. He sings about the cold, borscht, vodka, Matryoshka dolls, piroshkis, and the Kremlin. (A Piroshki's very tasty! Basically, buns stuffed mostly with meats or mashed potatoes.)

I posted chapter 7 on the forum, and started writing chapter 10. I'm experimenting with it a bit, I'll see if it turns out ok. Challenges are always fun, so why not? I also played my clarinet. Did Mozart as a warm-up and some Beatles songs. Next time, I'm planning to start from the beginning of the book and work my way to the end. It's a huge book! Also, I plan to play it as written, instead of skipping repeats and codas. Makes the songs really long, and can be a bit annoying if playing alone, but it will be good for me. I also took lots of pics of the flowers I see along the way I usually go for my walks. They're so pretty, I had to.

In Kuroshitsuji, it's wintertime in England. A new case has popped up in London. This one's about British citizens who returning from India were beaten up, stripped of everything, and hung upside down from the eaves of an Indian restaurant called the Hindustani Coffee House. (Looked it up, and it was the first curry house in England. In London's Portman Square.) All of them had the same paper stuck to them, basically saying we'll do the same thing to you as you did to us. Ciel decides that he'll look to see where the Indian stronghold in East End is. First he asks Lau about it. He's in control of who comes in and out of East End. He shows them where they're at, and they get into a fight with them. They're saved by Soma. He's a prince of Bengal. Since he saved Ciel, he says it's only natural to invite him over and take care of them. Only he let himself in and gets comfortable without asking. He has a servant called Agni, and he tries to take over Sebastian's job while they're staying there. Also, he redecorates the place to look more 'Indian'. (In the pic: Agni, Sebastian, Ciel, and Soma. Thought it was kind of cool, and I wondered if I could put the 2 pics together. Close enough.) He also makes a lot of Indian food for everybody. Soma's looking for a maidservant from his palace named Mina. I like that they talked a bit about Hindu mythology, and it was interesting that they believe and pray to the Hindu goddess Kali. I've always been interested in Indian culture, so it was cool to see. At the end, Sebastian and Agni were about to have a fencing duel.

I got further in translating the Grill's user's manual. Here are the next 2 kanjis I have down: 等 or nado, means etc., quality, similar, equal, and so forth. 読み or yomi, means reading. I got 2 more sentences done. 彼の部屋は私たちは行く家は空かなかったら。(kare no heya ha watashitachi ha iku uchi ha akanakattara.) If they don't have a free room, we'll go home. 夕食しましょう、あなたは空いたら。(Yuu shokushimashou, anata ha aitara.) If you're free, let's have dinner.

This episode of Zan Sayonara Zetsubou sensei, was just odd. Sensei comes in and is wearing contacts. (He's in the pic. Sorry, couldn't center this pic right after the other one.) The students don't think it's like him, and pitch in to give him enough money to get glasses. The glasses he gets are tinted. It makes people assume things based on looks, or prejudices. When the students take his glasses off, he doesn't remember what he said while wearing them. So, they go to the store where he bought them. They sell tinted glasses from various eras, with different relevant prejudices. They also sell tinted headphones that make you prejudice to what you hear. There's also a tinted mouthguard, which gives you preconceptions of what you eat. The take home message was: we all must take off our tinted glasses of prejudice. So, live without any of it.

I played the There Is No Door Escape game. You have to make your own 'door' to leave while using various items in the room. There was a jackhammer, a mask, screwdriver, and other stuff. It wasn't too bad of a game. Then I played Rat Escape by Gazzyboy. You have to save the rat and get him out. It was funny and cute. I seem to over think their room escape games, and it could have been done in have the time.

I finally finished Zero's face. His hair was a bit harder to do than I thought. But, with a bit of help looking at anime hairstyles online, I managed to get it. He's one of the few characters that I don't have a definite vision in my head for. I do have an idea for his pose and what will be in the background. I think I'll put Loathe spreading out his wings and screaming behind him. Also, he'll take up most of the background. (Hard to describe what Loathe really is, but think of him as a giant Phoenix. He's actually Zero's residual self from a past life.)

The Audience

Mood:Onion Icon

By Akeboshi. Kind of a cool haunting (feels to me) song. The music's amazing. Onion IconsI'll have to look for more of his music.MSN Onion EmoticonHe's also done a lot of music for Naruto. This was basically all I could find yesterday for my playlist. Onion EmoticonI'll have to get serious next time I look. MSN Onion Emoticons

Since I got the ideas flowing again, I can't stop coming up with them now. Onion IconsI'm back to feeling like the story has unlimited possibilities with where it can go. Awesome feeling!Onion IconsI got another very nice comment on it at my fave forum yesterday. Might post more there, if I keep getting comments. I like how it's been a while since I posted the last chapter, and it was one that ended with a cliffhanger. Onion IconsThe person who commented said please post the next chapter, I want to know what happens! MSN Onion IconsThat's the kind of comment that helps me get even more motivated. Onion Icon

We watched the movie Up yesterday. Very funny and cute. Onion IconWas better than I thought it would be. I especially like Dug, the talking dog. Reminded me of Buster. (Who was a beagle.) The animation was amazing too. MSN Onion Icons

I just had a very good dinner.Onion IconIt was a Korean chicken dish my dad makes sometimes. It's always good. It's garlicky and full of flavor. He threw in some peas for a green, and we had rice with it.

Also, my dad is going to legally change his name soon, since he'll be Jill most of the time starting in June. He thought his last name at first would be changed to Davidson, because of his middle name. Now, we're thinking it will make more sense to take my mom's maiden name. She'll just drop his name for her last name. (Since she just added it to her name. It will go back to what it was.) I'm going to keep my last name, since it's what I've known, and I don't have a problem with it.MSN Onion EmoticonsIt will be strange to be the only one with this name here, but I guess it will be ok. We'll see when it happens.

I played Emoticon Defense. It's a funny tower defense game. When you kill the 'creeps' or enemies they make a funny splat noise. Onion IconsI got up to the very last wave and then died. Onion Emoticon SetThen, I played Carnival Tycoon. This one wasn't as good as it sounded. I like the concept where you make your own carnival, but it was poorly done. The speed was extremely fast, you couldn't read some of what the customers wanted because their text in their bubble was so small, they complained even when I solved their problems, etc. It started to get frustrating. Onion Emoticon SetFinally, I played Bread Girl 4. Another point and click game by Minoto. I love Minoto's games! Onion IconsIt was funny and cute like it always is. Also, it was easy this time. I think it only took me maybe 2 minutes. MSN Onion Icon

DeviantART faves:KolKol Young Hong Kong I did not make these!MSN Onion EmoticonsThe first one is an awesome watercolor of Russia from Hetalia. Fits his personality perfectly! The other one's an amazing drawing of Hong Kong from Hetalia. Really very well done. I like the colors and shading the most. MSN Onion Icons

Freedom (Again)

Mood:I'm hungry...Get in my belly!

By Love Psychedelico. Love their songs! Onion Icons I've got to find more.MSN Onion EmoticonI watched a little Japanese TV online, mostly the animal and news shows. Hopefully, I'll watch more of their G+ TV section tomorrow. I found out that for some of their videos they have a share option, but that seems to be rare. Unimpressed

Chii reminds me so much of Tasha!La la la laHe's hilarious!Onion IconThe mangaka must own a cat or something. Chii thinks he'll be able to just walk out the door, but is constantly distracted by 'cool' things. Eventually, they try to train him to go to the litter box. Only they started with shreds of newspaper in a shoebox. Chii thought it was a fun play area, and still decided to pee on everything but in the box.Onion IconsSo, instead they found a paper based litter. He thought it was like an upgrade.OMG! I can't contain my excitement! The mother, becoming a bit frustrated, threw some of clothes that he peed on into the box. Chii was shocked, and said now it can't be played in. He got the idea eventually. The family name's him Chii, when they decide they should keep him. (Only problem is, they're not allowed in the apartment, so they have to hide him.) They buy him an expensive toy, and he doesn't understand it. When they bring the bag full of toys, food, bowls, etc.; he goes nuts. He hears the rustling of the bag and keeps saying, 'it's calling me, it's calling me!' And he pretty much gets the same expression as the pic.

I cleaned a lot today! Phew! Swept my bathroom floor, cleaned the mirror, mopped the floor, cleaned my rug, and some other things. I was going to work on the garden, but felt I needed to do these first.:D (Big Grin)That garden is taking forever, but it's mainly because it hasn't been used in about 5 years. OMG So, it's slowly becoming one with the yard. Noes! I've made a nice patch, but it will take a little longer to make enough space for the plants. Mom's suggesting we put boards around it, when it's done. Then, lay an anti-weed fabric down, put potting soil on top, then add the plants. Also, she has an idea for the slug bait. So, at least I have a plan. MSN Onion Emoticons

Oh, this episode of Gintama was hilarious! roflAlso, a bit gross. Shinpachi and Kagura were in the first 'Death Match'. It was a 3-legged race by a Shikigami (Shinpachi acted as one) and a master. And after the race, they have to eat a Pandemonium larvae as fast as they can. (Very disgusting looking bug that Shikigami eat.) Shinpachi falls in love with it, after accidentally kissing it. O_oMatch ends in a draw, since neither one was able to eat it. (More like the Shikigami puked it out after Kagura kept pounding his chest.Onion Icons) The next match was a 4 on 4 Tag Team Mystic Shoot Death Match. It was too funny! (Might be a bit too mature for some.) Gintoki literally dropped his balls, and Seimei and Doman started battling over them. Making them smash into each other and fly around Gintoki. Meanwhile, every time they smashed them, Gintoki was writhing in pain. I love how they throw in those kind of jokes at odd times. Seimei starts battling Doman, and his Shikigami, beating the odds like Gintama is known for.
