Einsamkeit

Mood::iconloliedplz:

Sung by Germany's voice actor from Hetalia on his Character CD. Einsamkeit means loneliness in German.:icongermanyplz:It's a pretty sad song until the end, and the music has an alternative rock type feel. About how he closed himself off to others for so long, and the good part is he's finally starting to open up to them. Germany's other character song puts me off a bit, so I'm glad I like this one.

On Saturday, I actually went to services!:la:It's the 3rd straight week in a row. Onion IconsI only stopped going for a while, because I got tired of the way our Rabbi was running the services. That's the thing, I found out why I didn't like going: it's not refreshing and interesting during his services.:iconannoyedgin-plz: This time we had our cantor lead the service, and it actually felt fun and nice. Plus, she didn't try to explain everything, and did the things we've been asking the Rabbi to do. I've only been going because I feel like I need it, or I guess, I'm feeling more spiritual. I don't know if that's the right word. Onion IconsThere were a lot more people that I knew and liked to talk to, so that was another plus. :iconginsmileplz:The portion on Saturday was the longest in the Torah, so we heard a very small snippet of it, but she talked about the topics that were touched later on in her commentary. It was very interesting.

We went out to eat to celebrate my mom's birthday. :iconkaguraeatplz:The food was great, service not so much. :iconchibijapanplz:We all had their olives and almonds appetizer. The almonds had olive oil and herbs, and the olives were very tasty. I ordered the 'burger' on the menu. It comes with your choice of cheese, and I chose Bleu. The patty was fabulous! The cheese was a bit stronger than I'm used to, but still very good. The bread was great too! It came with things like the pickles, onions in a vinaigrette, lettuce, tomato, etc. on the side. There was also frites. Which are just French for French fries. They had some rosemary and olive oil on them. Very good! Next, we shared some bread pudding that had blueberries and a bourbon sauce. They lit a candle on it. It was awesome too. Although, the sauce was a bit light on the bourbon. :iconjustahappyplz:

Next, we watched the remake of The Day The Earth Stood Still. It was good up until the end. Kind of anti-climatic. :iconginblinking:I liked the statue thing, that turned into tiny mechanical looking bugs that ate through everything. The kid was just an idiot! I'm sorry, but that's how I felt about him.

Yesterday night, we watched the series finale of Lost. It was crazy! The commentary from the actors before the finale on the show were funny and interesting. The actors come from all over the world. I think that's one of the things that made it interesting. It is kind of sad that it ended. I missed like 2 seasons, but apparently they weren't important, because I knew about the main storyline. Also, I watched their thing on Jimmy Kimmel Live, it was hilarious! The spoofs on it were great. The cast seem to be great comedians. A lot of them said they didn't watch the show. The ones that did were just about as confused as most people.

I worked a bit more on that long sentence from the grill's manual. I have all the components, I just have to piece them together. So far I think I can say the main parts are about rusting, treatment, and ventilation.

In Hetalia, Rome's feeling depressed. Germania actually cheers him up. (Rome's in the pic stealing Germany's potatoes.) After meeting with Italy and Germany, Japan's heading home. Italy catches up to him and tells him he'll give him a lift. He drives WAY too fast, and terrifies Japan. Spain teaches Romano some Spanish. Romano thinks that the language is very hard to memorize. In Southern Italy, the Spanish culture and influence from that era still remains. Sardinia still seems to use Spanish. When Spain sees Chibitalia, he begs Austria to trade him. Romano hears about it, and gets really angry. Spain not realizing what impact it had at first on Chibi Romano, apologizes.

I watched the first episode of the Zan Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei: Bangaichi OVA. Kind of like the first half of their movie. Odd thing is I tried to watch the second episode, and can't seem to find it. That's kind of a let down. There might not be another season, so it's like watching half a series finale. Oh well, maybe someday I'll see the rest of it. The part I saw is still very funny and makes you think. I didn't remember Chiri had an older sister named Tane. She's like the exact opposite of Chiri. Mainly because she thinks it keeps Chiri in check. When they were younger, Chiri thought their goldfish needed washing and was about to take him out and shampoo him. To save it, Tane rolled in some mud and told her to clean her instead. Ever since, she's been trying to control Chiri's excess in cleanliness. Trash follows her wherever she goes, too. Sensei tells her he'll take over her job, so she can be a 'normal' clean beautiful girl.

I made dinner. It kind of was a new creation, and I think I like it. It was sushi rice (sushi technically just is vinegared rice), soy sauce, garlic, chicken, corn, carrots, peas, and onions all mixed together. The chicken and vegetables were cooked in garlic first. Turned out really tasty. Kind of looked like fried rice, but it was something different. Had a tangy, sweet, and savory taste. Might do it again some time.

Japanese Ninja is No. 1

Mood:Onion Icon

Sung by the Luka Vocaloid. Kind of a funny song, about how ninjas, Japanese food, sports, etc., are the best. Well, I found a butt-load of new songs!:iconevilginplz:Makes me happy! Onion IconsCheers me up a bit, even though I still feel sick. Got up late, because I kept tossing and turning, felt too hot and the next minute felt cold, and still had the feeling of throwing up. Wahoo! More fun! :iconginblinking:

I tried to decipher a bit of my Today's Menu For Everybody weekly newsletter. Which really wasn't very hard, but the way I was feeling, I needed to study something light. They said there's 36 recipe versions up for Nikujaga now. It's a meat and potatoes dish. It's very tasty, and I've made it before.:iconmayocookingshowplz:  I just didn't think there was that many versions of it. :iconginfacepalmplz:Rankings this week: 1. Roasted gingered pork. 2. Nikujaga. 3. Hamburger steak. If people just say hamburger over there, it can be 2 things: the hamburger steak thing or a Western type burger. Hamburger steak is just a hamburger without the bun. Reminds me a bit of Salisbury steak. :iconchibirussiaplz:

In Hetalia, England's still sick. :iconchibienglandplz:America thinks putting a hamburger on England's forehead will 'cure' him.:iconchibiamericaplz:After China lost the first opium war, he found himself answering to England and France. He makes a meal for them. England thinks he can cook better. Russia visits him, too. After China lost the first and second opium wars, England and France took dominion over a great part of China.:iconchibichinaplz: Russia was slowly closing in on him, too. France changes his uniform, because he didn't want to be a 'stylish' target for his enemies. The ending to this one had China's Marukaite Chikyuu, which I think was it's debut. Italy meets Chibitalia, and calls his younger self cute. Chibitalia wants to become a big and strong nation, and asks if he will. :iconchibitaliaplz:Italy lies, and tells him he will become great. England's training to become stronger, and not be called weak by the other nations. Finds out America is far stronger when he carries a car.

The Zan Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei episode that I watched was the last one of the season. :iconscaredginplz:All that's left is it's movie. I hope that eventually they have a 4th season! I really like it! The first topic was about people tend to notice trivial errors, but fail to see the main problems. Then, it was about Kiri having a Linus complex with her blanket. She doesn't feel secure without it. Kafuka believes anybody who's a civil servant should feel relieved and secure. So, when everyone becomes a civil servant, the whole country's citizens become impoverished. The whole class feels Sensei makes them feel secure. (Kind of touching.) At the very end of the episode, the school's counselor says "I think we can work harder in the next volume." This definitely leaves it open for another season! :iconginsenseipointsuplz:

I played Uncle's Old Times, which was a Minoto game. This one seemed even trippier than the last! It still was cute, fun, and easy. Then, I played Green Soup Room Escape by Sakura. Got everything but the color code right away. Their games always seem a bit more challenging than other escape games. I got the perfect end, though.

DeviantART faves: Maple Syrup APH- Spanish Inquisition Croatia The City of Eternal Night Chicken Doom I did not make these! First, is a cute drawing of Canada eating pancakes.:iconchibicanadaplz: Second, a very emotional Spain, who looks horrified for what happened in the Inquisition. :iconchibispainplz:Very nice drawing! Third, is a fan's version of what Croatia would look like in Hetalia. Kind of cool! Fourth, is an awesome Gintama sketch with Gintoki sitting on a bench in the city of Yoshiwara. Last, is a hilarious Gintama flash centering on Elizabeth.:iconelycryplz: The expression of Katsura is priceless. :iconcutezuraplz:

Carnation (Again)

Mood:Onion Emoticon

By Love Psychedelico. Another fave still. MSN Onion Emoticons I hope people like the new layout of my blog! MSN Onion IconsI like it so far, and I think that's what's important. MSN Onion IconsI updated my About Me section, added a list of drama shows I'm currently watching, changed one of the lists to the Anime I'm Currently Watching (before, it was My Top Faves.), added my current manga list, and added more links. All these were at the bottom before. I just moved all of those to the bottom of my About Me section on the right hand side. Looks better to me!MSN Onion EmoticonsAlso, I'm thinking of adding a guestbook. I doubt anyone will leave a comment or a greeting, but why not?MSN Onion IconBy the way, the links are somewhat ordered. Sites I always check first, Japanese dictionaries/helpful sites, drama, gardening, Jewish sites, cooking, Japanese TV online, game sites, random stuff, and my old site at the bottom. I haven't updated that one in, who know's how long! MSN Onion IconsIt's basically my early research on Japan. I hope to someday go back to it, and pour my new knowledge into it. MSN Onion Icon

And yes, that's what my head feels like right now. Like someone or something is chewing on it. I have a major head and earache. Oh, well, I can deal. I posted another pic on deviantART: Pier 2 I already have 2 people who faved it. I don't think this one's all that great, but check it out! MSN Onion EmoticonsOh, I woke up about an hour earlier than I usually do, which was around 6. I just couldn't sleep. For a while, I was absolutely freezing. Onion EmoticonIt felt like it was in the teens or something, when in reality it was a lot warmer. I guess it was like the opposite of a hot flash (cold chill?Onion Icon), it was very weird. Then, at 6 my eyes just opened. MSN Onion Icons

The fencing dual between Agni and Sebastian was cool!Onion IconsThey were equals, and they had to call it a draw. Sebastian was impressed that a human could be so talented. Agni actually gives the servants jobs that they can fulfill and gives advice, instead of ignoring them and saying you'll do everything. (In this way, I like him a lot more than Sebastian.) Soma has been noticing that there's something up with Agni. He leaves while Soma sleeps every night. So, the group waits for Agni to leave, and follows him. He walks into a house where an English nobleman, named West, who deals with imported Indian goods lives. Also, has a criminal record. When Soma hears they're going to talk about Mina, he storms in. West orders Agni around like he's his servant, and tells him to beat up the prince. Agni seems to be very conflicted about it, but follows his orders. Sebastian saves Soma, and they leave. They find out that Agni's been behind the 'incidents' from before. (Beating and hanging English noblemen from the eaves of a curry house.)

日本語
I finished a sentence from the grill's manual, and I'm about half way done with another. Wahoo! Onion IconI'm figuring these out quicker than before! Also, gives me another way to see their sentence structure. これ以外の用途には使用しないでください。(Kore igai no youto niha shiyou shinai de kudasai.) The rough (or raw) version: This means with the exception of service for use in the city (or locally) please. A better way in English (maybe?): Use only in the city (or locally) please. I'll work on it a bit more sometime when I'm done with this section.

In Hetalia, England's sick yet again. Only this time France is by his side. Lithuania dreams about the day he was separated from Poland. Russia had beaten them, and took Lithuania to work at his house. He calls Poland asking if he's prepared for a war, if Russia goes through with it. His way of dealing with it, was to send a letter to Russia. It said if you read this letter, you have 3 days to send this to 3 people. If you don't, your capital will become Warsaw. Onion Emoticons

In Zan Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, they talked about Shrodinger's cat, thought experiment. They showed a lot of Shrodinger examples. One was, if you put a dying cat in a box, and didn't open it, the possibility of the cat being alive and dead will simultaneously exist. (This is based off of a real experiment.) He was showing that there are infinite paradoxes. Very interesting. MSN Onion Icon

I played There Is No Door Escape 3. It was a lot more frustrating and not as fun as the previous ones. Onion Emoticon SetThen, I played Perfume Lab Escape. It was funny and very interesting. You have to make the best perfume with the ingredients provided to escape. I also tried to draw more of Zero, but I didn't feel right about a few things, and by the time I went over it again, I got frustrated. So, I'll leave it for tomorrow. Usually, the next day's better. MSN Onion IconsHopefully, I'll have a full night's sleep tonight. MSN Onion Icon

DeviantART faves: Rawr! Chibitalia- too small APH- Hong Kong Racket-Tailed Roller I did not make these! The first one's a pic of a cute kitten. Second, is just a cute comic about Chibitalia being just short enough he can't reach his pasta. The third's of Hong Kong from Hetalia. The last, a pic of a colorful bird.
