Sora wo Koete Umi wo Koete

Mood::iconchibihungaryplz:

by Yanawaraba. In English it's: Beyond the Sky, Beyond the Sea. Another really pretty one from them. This may be one of their best songs. It's about never giving up on your dreams, and it's ok to make mistakes along the way. Kind of nice.

It was much warmer today. Feels a bit like Spring.:iconheroamericaplz:Rosie keeps attacking Tasha today. It's kind of disturbing.:iconitalyishorrifiedplz:Normally, there's a few little spats, but they generally stay away from each other. But, today it seemed like Rosie was tired of waiting for Tasha to 'play' with her. I think she pushed her off the banister at one point. I hope things get better soon with them.:iconamericasadchibiplz:

Posted a pic on dA: Park 5. And, I posted a few to that forum. Someone on the forum already commented. Yay!:la:Wrote more of chapter 13. Got through a good portion of it.

Played some Irish tunes. Wasn't too bad. I had forgotten how fun it was to play these tunes.:iconus-xdplz:I really should transpose these into my own key. It's for fiddle, not a B-flat clarinet.:iconseychelles-plz:I know how, I just haven't done it. And, I've had these tunes for years. It sounds fine if I'm playing by myself. But, paired up with someone who has the same piece, it would sound horrible. Maybe I'll leave it. I'm not sure. I guess, I'll see.

Looked for more recipes on みんなのきょうの料理 or Today's Menu For Everyone. Found a lot more categories. My goodness, so many ways to find stuff!:iconchibipolandplz:They have some interesting 'genres'. Tasty Food (wouldn't they all be tasty?:iconpolandplz:), Western, Chinese, Korean, Ethnic, and Others. Found a few more recipes. Most were desserts and sides. I was stuck on the 'fruits' and 'beans' sections for a while.:iconsleepygreeceplz:Desserts: バナナケーキ or Banana Cake (it looked like a nice easy basic recipe), 完熟バナナケーキ or Fully Ripened Banana Cake (seems to be a little bit more complicated), りんごとバナナのクランブル or Apple and Banana Crumble. That last one looked and sounded so good! It also seems simple. Sides: いんげんとツナの煮物 or Simmered Green Beans and Tuna (again, very simple), はっさくのはちみつ漬け or Honey Marinated Hassaku. Hassaku's a type of orange. And, on the recipe they say that any type of orange will do. They said it can be used as a side or a dessert. Sounded really good, and very easy. Only a couple of ingredients and a couple of sentences for the actual steps. I want to try their more simple/easy dishes.:iconberwaldplz:Start small, right? Hopefully, I'll get motivated enough to cook more often.:excited:

I just made dinner. It was some frozen really peppery teriyaki chicken meatballs, noodles, and green beans. The meatballs were so peppery, they needed something to counteract it. So, I added some Hoisin sauce to mine. It was awesome that way!:iconchibispainplz:Mom liked it that way too.

International Women's Day!

Mood::iconchibicanadaplz:

It's pretty awesome there's a holiday like this. It celebrates the economic, political, and social achievements of women in the past, present, and future.:iconchibipolandplz:On the site, they say that in some places like China, Russia, Vietnam, and Bulgaria it's a national holiday. This is its 100th anniversary!:dummy:Wow! Even Google changed its logo in honor of the holiday.

It was much the same temp as yesterday. I got up a little late. For some reason, I couldn't get to sleep last night.:sleep:When I woke up, I felt sick to my stomach. Strange. It was better once I ate, though. Made an omelet for brunch. It had garlic and 7 spice mixed into the eggs. Then, cheddar, sliced smoked turkey, dried onions, and dried green bell peppers in the middle. Tasted really good!:iconchibispainplz:Those dried bell peppers always smell weird to me.

Rosie actually slept with me for part of the night.:faint:I thought for a while it was Shadow. But, then remembered she's not around anymore.:iconwtfukplz:I sometimes feel like she's sleeping on me or next to me still. It's been a while since she passed away. It's a little weird and creepy, yet comforting.:iconchibinitalyplz:She was always by my side. But, I reached over last night, after I realized, and heard Rosie do a high-pitched meow. It was nice.:iconheroamericaplz:

Tried a new type of hairstyle today.:iconchibihungaryplz:Pigtails with barrettes. Just to have some variety. I usually just put it up in a ponytail and headband. It's funny because now the sides of my head are a little heavier.:iconseychelles-plz:(My hair's rather thick and wavy.) But, I think I like it. I may do this more often.:iconthailandplz:And that other style I've only done a couple of times, too. Where I put it up in a ponytail, but tuck the ends back into the hair tie. Gives a slightly different look.:icondanmarkplz:
I couldn't find the last episode of Zettai Reido, so I started another drama. This one's called GM Odore Doctor. Odore means dance. Someone on a forum said it nicely, it seems like a Japanese version of House. Only think of this 'Dr. House' as trying to become a famous dancer on the side.:iconsleepygreeceplz:He returns to Japan after working as a brilliant doctor of general medicine in America. He thinks it will be his big break. But, the agency he signed up with was a sham. He works part-time in a run down general medicine center solving mysterious cases. The hospital thinks the GM center is for useless doctors, and gives them a hard time. Each character has their own quirks. One who remembers everything about a person. Another who has a hard time speaking to people, and tends to write what he wants to say down. Another's a surgeon, who's obsessed with cutting into people, and eating. Goto, the main character, also has a germaphobe problem. Strange, but makes it 'unique' to watch. So far, it's a hit with me.:iconchibiamericaplz:

I went through, and weeded out my friends' list on FB. I think I got rid of 13 people.:iconitalyishorrifiedplz:All of which were from the Birthright group. I kept a few, because those seem like the most 'normal' and people I might hang out with. It was bugging me for a while. So, I finally sat down and did it.:iconhongkongplz:If people have a problem with that, and they actually want to be my friend, I'll gladly add them again.

Also, left a group on dA. They haven't been approving anyone's work for the past few months. They're low on admins too. Cleared out more stuff on dA. Kind of like a spring cleaning day for my FB and dA.:iconchibisitalyplz:Posted another pic: Park 4. I think it came out pretty well.

I looked around on みんなのきょうの料理 or Today's Menu for Everyone, again. There's so many recipes! Here's the ones I have so far: チキンソテーオニオンソース or Chicken Sautee with Onion Sauce; 牛丼 or Beef Bowl, マドレーヌ or those French cookies called Madeleine. All sound and look really tasty!:iconitalyplz:Hope to come up with more, though. There's so many options, it's hard to just 'browse'.:iconkikuplz:There's also a section where big food companies showcase some of their recipes. I might look at those further. It's cool that everything, including that section, is free.:la:And, they have printer friendly versions of the recipes. I could probably get lost for days on that site.:iconicelandmochiplz:

deviantART faves: Character Reference Sheet Momiji in Wonderland StupidFox - 42 I did not make these! First, a pretty interesting character sheet. Might use it as practice in the future. Second, a pretty cool drawing by an artist I watch. It's an entry for Anime North's 2011 contest. I think it's a good one. Third, another funny installment of StupidFox. I love that fox. He appears in some of the weirdest places. I'd probably have that same reaction to him.

Japanese Ninja is No. 1

Mood:Onion Icon

Sung by the Luka Vocaloid. Kind of a funny song, about how ninjas, Japanese food, sports, etc., are the best. Well, I found a butt-load of new songs!:iconevilginplz:Makes me happy! Onion IconsCheers me up a bit, even though I still feel sick. Got up late, because I kept tossing and turning, felt too hot and the next minute felt cold, and still had the feeling of throwing up. Wahoo! More fun! :iconginblinking:

I tried to decipher a bit of my Today's Menu For Everybody weekly newsletter. Which really wasn't very hard, but the way I was feeling, I needed to study something light. They said there's 36 recipe versions up for Nikujaga now. It's a meat and potatoes dish. It's very tasty, and I've made it before.:iconmayocookingshowplz:  I just didn't think there was that many versions of it. :iconginfacepalmplz:Rankings this week: 1. Roasted gingered pork. 2. Nikujaga. 3. Hamburger steak. If people just say hamburger over there, it can be 2 things: the hamburger steak thing or a Western type burger. Hamburger steak is just a hamburger without the bun. Reminds me a bit of Salisbury steak. :iconchibirussiaplz:

In Hetalia, England's still sick. :iconchibienglandplz:America thinks putting a hamburger on England's forehead will 'cure' him.:iconchibiamericaplz:After China lost the first opium war, he found himself answering to England and France. He makes a meal for them. England thinks he can cook better. Russia visits him, too. After China lost the first and second opium wars, England and France took dominion over a great part of China.:iconchibichinaplz: Russia was slowly closing in on him, too. France changes his uniform, because he didn't want to be a 'stylish' target for his enemies. The ending to this one had China's Marukaite Chikyuu, which I think was it's debut. Italy meets Chibitalia, and calls his younger self cute. Chibitalia wants to become a big and strong nation, and asks if he will. :iconchibitaliaplz:Italy lies, and tells him he will become great. England's training to become stronger, and not be called weak by the other nations. Finds out America is far stronger when he carries a car.

The Zan Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei episode that I watched was the last one of the season. :iconscaredginplz:All that's left is it's movie. I hope that eventually they have a 4th season! I really like it! The first topic was about people tend to notice trivial errors, but fail to see the main problems. Then, it was about Kiri having a Linus complex with her blanket. She doesn't feel secure without it. Kafuka believes anybody who's a civil servant should feel relieved and secure. So, when everyone becomes a civil servant, the whole country's citizens become impoverished. The whole class feels Sensei makes them feel secure. (Kind of touching.) At the very end of the episode, the school's counselor says "I think we can work harder in the next volume." This definitely leaves it open for another season! :iconginsenseipointsuplz:

I played Uncle's Old Times, which was a Minoto game. This one seemed even trippier than the last! It still was cute, fun, and easy. Then, I played Green Soup Room Escape by Sakura. Got everything but the color code right away. Their games always seem a bit more challenging than other escape games. I got the perfect end, though.

DeviantART faves: Maple Syrup APH- Spanish Inquisition Croatia The City of Eternal Night Chicken Doom I did not make these! First, is a cute drawing of Canada eating pancakes.:iconchibicanadaplz: Second, a very emotional Spain, who looks horrified for what happened in the Inquisition. :iconchibispainplz:Very nice drawing! Third, is a fan's version of what Croatia would look like in Hetalia. Kind of cool! Fourth, is an awesome Gintama sketch with Gintoki sitting on a bench in the city of Yoshiwara. Last, is a hilarious Gintama flash centering on Elizabeth.:iconelycryplz: The expression of Katsura is priceless. :iconcutezuraplz:
