Naniwa Iroha Bushi

By Kanjani8. Naniwa is the old name for Osaka. Iroha is a Japanese poem, and is also sometimes translated as the ABC's or the basics. Bushi is a warrior or samurai. Kind of cool. The lyrics are really beautiful and interesting. Although, at the same time, they bring a bit of comedy to it.  It makes you want to move and dance. This makes me want to visit Osaka even more. I love their humor, food, music, and culture.





It's been nice and warm today!  Oh, I forgot to mention, Monday was Ocean Day or Umi no Hi (海の日) in Japan. Sounds like it would be fun! They visit aquariums, beaches, people get off work, etc. I found TV Tokyo's site, and they have a lot of their programs online. Also seem to be higher quality videos than the ones at Yomiuri.  They have: news, cultural, drama, anime, and other types of shows. It's at: TV Tokyo So, now I have another option for online Japanese TV. (Since we got rid of TV Japan.) 


We had a leak coming from our ceiling for a while, then it started to bulge big time, eventually we had a piece fall off.  It has stopped leaking, but it looks like it'll collapse or something. Just had a plumber come in and look at it. He said it was a leak from my bathroom upstairs. So, supposedly the seal was gone from the toilet and he replaced it, and added another. I think I just heard that we'll need to replace the whole toilet soon. But, for now, it's temporarily fixed. Great! Maybe I'll get to use it? 


I'm going to start the search for a new psychiatrist later. Hopefully, I'll find one that's good. I wrote a little of chapter 11. Didn't get much done, since my computer was having a hard time waking up. Played some more Irish tunes. I was doing pretty well until I got pissed off at something. (Not going to say at what or really who. But, later I felt better about it.) I'm still working on a sentence from the grill's manual. I'm almost done with the whole manual! 

In O-Parts Hunter, Amidaba tells Kirin to protect Ruby. The necklace starts to shine brightly. It's in reaction to the spirit power of the city people. When all their hearts are combined at one time, it will change into a tremendous power. So, it reacts and absorbs energy. Ruby and Kirin meet up with Jio. Ruby throws the necklace at mekisis, and it destroys the barrier. Jio's spirit is huge now! The new Zero O-part has triple the power and it's a b-rank. After taking a slice out of Mekisis, Wise gets pissed and traps him in some sort of ooze. Jio sees Satan inside his head. Satan's been using Jio's body as a tool. He tells him if he doesn't want to be alone, than he has to use his power. He agrees to it, and Satan marks his hand as 'proof' of the pact. It's 666, representing Satan's power. Now, that hand's an O-part too. It has the power to absorb energy. 

In Fairy Tail, the island was covered by an evil lens. A gas was released during the creation of the Moon Drip. The gas crystallized and became a lens covering the sky. This lens made the moon look purple. Erza broke through the lens. (It's shattering in the pic.) The lens had affected the villagers' memories. They thought they were humans turned into demons. But, they were really just demons who could take a human form. Bobo's alive! He was the only one who gained back his memories before. After the lens is shattered, and Erza tells them what was really going on, they all start getting their memories back. They were so happy, they invited Natsu, Erza, Gray, Happy, and Lucy to a feast. Lyon's 'friends' show up, and eventually apologize for what they did. Erza tells them they're not taking the reward, and even when they say take it as a thanks, she says all they need is the Zodiac key. (Which is the Sagittarius one.) They leave on the pirate ship Erza hijacked. Siegrain was behind the whole plan, saying at the end that it was part of his big dream. Zalty's really Ul's daughter. 


Finished drawing and inking Zero in the XD box for the meme. I think that one turned out better than the other 2. Going to move on to the :p box tomorrow. Looks like another fun one!

Yorokobi no Uta

By KAT-TUN. I usually hate their music, but for some reason I like this one a lot. In English it's Song of Joy. Apparently, the song was named the 6th best-selling song in 2007. And was honored at the 22nd Japanese Gold Disc Awards when it placed on the Best 10 Music Singles (Domestic) list. Kind of interesting. 


Well, I had another bad night. Tossing and turning mostly. Then, all of a sudden, (at around 2:30) I threw up. Had a hard time going back to bed after that. My head was burning up, it was horrible. My head's still burning up. My stomach hasn't been too bad. I've been sneezing a lot, too.Hopefully, tonight and tomorrow will be a lot better?

I finished figuring out one of the sentences from the grill's handbook. And, I've got most of the next one. Still ironing things out on that one. ガスコンロ等の直火以外には使用しないでください。(Gaskonro tou no jikabi igai niha shiyoushinaide kudasai.) Please use gas ranges, and the like, and not direct heat. (Still seems a bit rough.) 

I saw a very cool vid on Yomiuri Online. It shows 2000 polo shirts made into one of the self-portraits of Van Gogh. It's amazing! Looks just like the painting (although a bit pixelated), until you get really close to it. Here's the link: Van Gogh 

I played a game called Sound Walk. It's about a composer who sold his soul to become better, but later wants it back and has to find the remnants of it. So, he goes on a 'musical' walk. During this, you have to stomp, punch, jump, and avoid things in time with the music. Supposedly. I'm a musician myself, and couldn't get past the training level very well. (And, certainly not the 1st level.) I think the timings were way off in the game. I like the concept, but they messed it up big time. It's interesting, because other people only gave it 1 star out of 10. Now I know why. I'm also finding more songs!

First, an original character that was just cute in a dark way. I like this artist's style for some reason. Second, is kind of a cute and sad drawing. Has a cat looking thing beaten up, and a raincloud over him. Third, has Hungary, Austria, Chibitalia, and HRE (Holy Roman Empire) enjoying their sunny afternoon outside. Of course, Chibitalia's painting in the background. The background and colors are very well done. Fourth, is a comic of America, from Hetalia, getting worried about the oil spill and how to stop it. Russia comes in and says he can fix it by nuking it. Fifth, is an interesting looking bug. Looks a bit like a stick bug. Sixth, is a really cool looking butterfly. Seventh, a very pretty pic of a white tiger. Eighth, a really nice drawing of China.

Sung by the Miku Vocaloid. Still a fun song. She's singing about vegetable juice.  I'm feeling much better today! I also had a good night's sleep. The only problem was, I slept in a lot later than I would have liked. But, I think I seriously needed it. I added a Cbox so people can comment on things, say hello, chat, etc. It's under the Current Manga section.  I'll see how it is after about a week, and if I don't like it, I'll just delete it. 


Earlier, there was something going on next door. There was our cable company's truck and the city's truck parked along our side of the road. If you remember, a few weeks ago we had our cable company's workers working on some pipes there. They left wires sticking out of the ground for a while. Eventually, they covered them up. When my mom asked about the wires before, they had no idea about the project or job. Today, they seemed to be arguing with the guy from the city truck. Maybe they really weren't supposed to work there or it violates some sort of code. Then, another cable truck came by. After just a few minutes, they all left. It was all very amusing to watch, at least to me. 


I caught up on a few things, since I obviously wasn't going to get everything done today.One of the things I caught up on was V. I missed last week's. So much happens in one episode, if you miss one you're far behind on everything. So, luckily, they had it online.

She looks very similar when she grooms. The second, I just love the emotion the pic makes. Very beautiful.Third, was too cute of a cat pic to say no. Fourth, was an amazing drawing of Spain and England from Hetalia going head to head. Fifth, just seems like a pretty random drawing of Canada from Hetalia. But, was funny and pretty well done. Sixth, is an upclose pic of a butterfly's body. Oddly, looks amazing. I find their bodies are usually not as pretty as their wings, but from this point of view, it seems different. Seventh, is a drawing of Seimei from Gintama. The only part I found a bit odd was how big the bowl is in his hand. It looks like it should be one of those little sipping sake cups, but it's way too big. The rest is great! Seimei's a very interesting character, so it's nice to see someone draw him. Eighth, ok, this was just too amazing!  It's a painting based on the Hetalia characters England and America. It's England sailing away from America after the American Revolution. Even if you don't like anime, you have to check it out because it's really something. The last one is a comic done by an amazing deviant named Mikeinel. This doesn't show off his best work, but it's still a pretty funny one. Yes, it's in Tagalog, but he translates it in the artist's comments. His work is very interesting. I think what drew me first to him wasn't on deviantART but on Youtube for his animation Draw With Me. It was amazingly done, creative, and original. Even the music's original. It's a sad story about a girl and a boy separated by an unbreakable glass wall. He apparently does have it on DA here's the link to it: Draw With Me If you haven't seen it, go check it out!

By Love Psychedelico. Love their songs!  I've got to find more.I watched a little Japanese TV online, mostly the animal and news shows. Hopefully, I'll watch more of their G+ TV section tomorrow. I found out that for some of their videos they have a share option, but that seems to be rare. 

Chii reminds me so much of Tasha!He's hilarious!The mangaka must own a cat or something. Chii thinks he'll be able to just walk out the door, but is constantly distracted by 'cool' things. Eventually, they try to train him to go to the litter box. Only they started with shreds of newspaper in a shoebox. Chii thought it was a fun play area, and still decided to pee on everything but in the box.So, instead they found a paper based litter. He thought it was like an upgrade.The mother, becoming a bit frustrated, threw some of clothes that he peed on into the box. Chii was shocked, and said now it can't be played in. He got the idea eventually. The family name's him Chii, when they decide they should keep him. (Only problem is, they're not allowed in the apartment, so they have to hide him.) They buy him an expensive toy, and he doesn't understand it. When they bring the bag full of toys, food, bowls, etc.; he goes nuts. He hears the rustling of the bag and keeps saying, 'it's calling me, it's calling me!' And he pretty much gets the same expression as the pic.


I cleaned a lot today!  Swept my bathroom floor, cleaned the mirror, mopped the floor, cleaned my rug, and some other things. I was going to work on the garden, but felt I needed to do these first.That garden is taking forever, but it's mainly because it hasn't been used in about 5 years.  So, it's slowly becoming one with the yard.  I've made a nice patch, but it will take a little longer to make enough space for the plants. Mom's suggesting we put boards around it, when it's done. Then, lay an anti-weed fabric down, put potting soil on top, then add the plants. Also, she has an idea for the slug bait. So, at least I have a plan. 

Oh, this episode of Gintama was hilarious! Also, a bit gross. Shinpachi and Kagura were in the first 'Death Match'. It was a 3-legged race by a Shikigami (Shinpachi acted as one) and a master. And after the race, they have to eat a Pandemonium larvae as fast as they can. (Very disgusting looking bug that Shikigami eat.) Shinpachi falls in love with it, after accidentally kissing it. Match ends in a draw, since neither one was able to eat it. (More like the Shikigami puked it out after Kagura kept pounding his chest.) The next match was a 4 on 4 Tag Team Mystic Shoot Death Match. It was too funny! (Might be a bit too mature for some.) Gintoki literally dropped his balls, and Seimei and Doman started battling over them. Making them smash into each other and fly around Gintoki. Meanwhile, every time they smashed them, Gintoki was writhing in pain. I love how they throw in those kind of jokes at odd times. Seimei starts battling Doman, and his Shikigami, beating the odds like Gintama is known for.
