Sukiyanen, Osaka!

By Kanjani8. It's a phrase that basically means: I Love Ya, Osaka! Really funny and a feel good song. Has become a new fave!  I think I'm starting to really like this band.  And, now I want to visit Osaka even more! I'll post the video, at the end, too.





It's been a normal summer day. Cool in the morning, and nice and warm in the afternoon. I couldn't ask for anything better!  The next few days are similar. I might have finished chapter 11. It's 90 pages now!  I'll have to start editing it tomorrow.  I played some more Irish tunes. Wasn't too bad. I'm going to have to get rid of some of the songs I got a couple of days ago. Some aren't as good as I thought they would be.  I worked some more on the extras for the grill's manual. So far, it's about size, in the box labelled what they called Quality Indication. Interesting.


I watched the xxxHolic: Rou (Cage) movie, or OVA, yesterday. I love the series, and wish it would come back, instead of just having a movie.  It started with Yuko disappearing, and 10 years pass. Watanuki is now the shop owner. He smokes the same pipe Yuko did, along with similar clothes. I like his grown-up self more.  Doumeki is a professor at the local college and checks in on Watanuki every once in a while. Himawari, apparently, is married. Kohane's one of Doumeki's students. Cool, we get to see her much older, too.  At the end, Yuko didn't really disappear she just reincarnated/possessed (either way you want to look at it) a girl. This seemed a little too short. I know some OVA's have a couple of episodes, and I hope that's the case with this one. Seemed a bit abrupt. 


I watched Bambino, too. Interesting they made him cook in a challenge against a more experienced cook. He lost, but in a way he won. (You'd have to see that episode.) The person who makes the desserts, or dulce, breaks his arm. And, they want Ban to help him out. 

In O-parts Hunter, Jio wakes up and transforms into Satan. Then, fights Wise and Mekisis. A new OPT appears named Shuri, who's a member of Zenom. Her O-part's called Race, which is similar to a long chain. The effect is unknown. Jio returns to his old self and realizes he's face to face with Wise on top of Mekisis. They battle it out. Wise is really starting to remind me of Gaara from Naruto.  Jio beats Wise, and Mekisis eats and absorbs him. 

In Fairy Tail, Lucy's team ended up getting their punishment even though the Master was away. They read off a quest poster aloud, that said if you can decipher it, you'll be rewarded. As soon as they said it, they switched bodies. Gray with Lucy, Erza with Happy (the cat), and Natsu with Loke. (Loke's the one who tries to charm women.) Hilarity ensues, and they spend most of the episode trying to get back to normal.  In the end, only Gray and Lucy switch back. 


I finished inking Zero for the >:] box in the meme. I screwed up a bit on inking part of his eye, and tried to cover it up with white out. I'm hoping that works. I just started drawing him in the D: box. Really, just has a head at the moment, no face.  I have a lot of ideas for this one, though.  Let's hope it comes out. I'm halfway through this meme. It hasn't really been that long.

Third, a cute drawing of Greece carrying a tiny Turkey, both from Hetalia. She's one of the newer artists I added to my list, but so far her art's been great!

It's been kind of cold today, but the weekend looks like it would be nice.  I woke up late, and didn't really have time to do much.  So, this will probably be a short post. I just was passed out last night. Must've really worn myself out. Sometimes that's a good thing, right? Since I've changed my routine a little, I haven't had problems sleeping. I also feel a lot healthier. That means I have to keep it up!  Unless they skipped this week, I'll probably watch Naruto Shippuden later. I sure hope they didn't!  I'll also watch some more online Japanese TV, might draw some more, watch Bambino, and other stuff. I'll get some of my Japanese for the day, done this way. (Might even play a little Sims 2. ) Mom might have found me someone to talk to in Japanese! Wahoo!That would be nice! 


Oh, and yesterday I made an awesome lunch.  (At least, to me, it was awesome!) It was the left over rice I had made for onigiri, cut up pieces of salami, tiny red and orange sweet peppers, soy sauce, sweetener, garlic, and 7-spice powder all heated and mixed together. It was amazing!  I wasn't sure if it would come out, since I was experimenting. Someone faved my Zero drawing and a shark pic! Really nice! 


deviantART faves: Tako Fishing With Norway Sailing Under The Summer Sky I did not make these! First, a funny comic about Tako vs. Taco. Tako is octopus in Japanese, and we pretty much all know what a Taco is. Spain gets confused. Second, another funny comic using Norway and Iceland from Hetalia. Didn't know they had that type of superstition.  Third, another awesome drawing by a great artist. I'm new to her art, but I like it so far. This one was the Nordics, plus Sealand, from Hetalia on a ship in sailor uniforms. I like Iceland and his puffin off to the side.  Norway is having a hard time.

This reminds me of a show that's on CBUT. Canadian station in the Pacific Time Zone Area. It's parent station is the CBC. Yeah, we're that close to the border. :D Can't remember the name of it. Funny!

Naniwa Iroha Bushi

By Kanjani8. Naniwa is the old name for Osaka. Iroha is a Japanese poem, and is also sometimes translated as the ABC's or the basics. Bushi is a warrior or samurai. Kind of cool. The lyrics are really beautiful and interesting. Although, at the same time, they bring a bit of comedy to it.  It makes you want to move and dance. This makes me want to visit Osaka even more. I love their humor, food, music, and culture.





It's been nice and warm today!  Oh, I forgot to mention, Monday was Ocean Day or Umi no Hi (海の日) in Japan. Sounds like it would be fun! They visit aquariums, beaches, people get off work, etc. I found TV Tokyo's site, and they have a lot of their programs online. Also seem to be higher quality videos than the ones at Yomiuri.  They have: news, cultural, drama, anime, and other types of shows. It's at: TV Tokyo So, now I have another option for online Japanese TV. (Since we got rid of TV Japan.) 


We had a leak coming from our ceiling for a while, then it started to bulge big time, eventually we had a piece fall off.  It has stopped leaking, but it looks like it'll collapse or something. Just had a plumber come in and look at it. He said it was a leak from my bathroom upstairs. So, supposedly the seal was gone from the toilet and he replaced it, and added another. I think I just heard that we'll need to replace the whole toilet soon. But, for now, it's temporarily fixed. Great! Maybe I'll get to use it? 


I'm going to start the search for a new psychiatrist later. Hopefully, I'll find one that's good. I wrote a little of chapter 11. Didn't get much done, since my computer was having a hard time waking up. Played some more Irish tunes. I was doing pretty well until I got pissed off at something. (Not going to say at what or really who. But, later I felt better about it.) I'm still working on a sentence from the grill's manual. I'm almost done with the whole manual! 

In O-Parts Hunter, Amidaba tells Kirin to protect Ruby. The necklace starts to shine brightly. It's in reaction to the spirit power of the city people. When all their hearts are combined at one time, it will change into a tremendous power. So, it reacts and absorbs energy. Ruby and Kirin meet up with Jio. Ruby throws the necklace at mekisis, and it destroys the barrier. Jio's spirit is huge now! The new Zero O-part has triple the power and it's a b-rank. After taking a slice out of Mekisis, Wise gets pissed and traps him in some sort of ooze. Jio sees Satan inside his head. Satan's been using Jio's body as a tool. He tells him if he doesn't want to be alone, than he has to use his power. He agrees to it, and Satan marks his hand as 'proof' of the pact. It's 666, representing Satan's power. Now, that hand's an O-part too. It has the power to absorb energy. 

In Fairy Tail, the island was covered by an evil lens. A gas was released during the creation of the Moon Drip. The gas crystallized and became a lens covering the sky. This lens made the moon look purple. Erza broke through the lens. (It's shattering in the pic.) The lens had affected the villagers' memories. They thought they were humans turned into demons. But, they were really just demons who could take a human form. Bobo's alive! He was the only one who gained back his memories before. After the lens is shattered, and Erza tells them what was really going on, they all start getting their memories back. They were so happy, they invited Natsu, Erza, Gray, Happy, and Lucy to a feast. Lyon's 'friends' show up, and eventually apologize for what they did. Erza tells them they're not taking the reward, and even when they say take it as a thanks, she says all they need is the Zodiac key. (Which is the Sagittarius one.) They leave on the pirate ship Erza hijacked. Siegrain was behind the whole plan, saying at the end that it was part of his big dream. Zalty's really Ul's daughter. 


Finished drawing and inking Zero in the XD box for the meme. I think that one turned out better than the other 2. Going to move on to the :p box tomorrow. Looks like another fun one!
