Memorial Day

Mood: :iconimtheheroplz:

Happy Memorial Day! A day where we honor all of our fallen men and women who died in military service. When I was in my high school marching band, we would go to a ceremony commemorating them by the waterfront. It was really nice. The only part I didn't like was we had to be absolutely still when we weren't playing. Actually, there was one time where we were allowed to move, and that was if we wanted to put a flower in the wreath before they threw it into the water. Playing the military songs was kind of fun. I still have them. A lot of people either go on picnics or to a barbecue, too. Dad barbecued a steak for dinner, so that was good.

Again it was pretty cold today. Onion EmoticonThe rest of the country's much warmer than us, it's like we're in a special little pocket or something. They say it will slowly get warmer. It should, considering it's June already. :iconannoyedgin-plz:(I'm still wearing a hoodie over my shirts and sometimes sweaters.)

Ok, I finally decided on what I should do to keep my art safe so people can't steal it. This morning I thought if I changed everything to having a creative commons license it would be more protected. Then I realized, it's not really a copyright. :iconwtfukplz:So, I switched them back to what they were, and low and behold dA already made my art copyrighted. :iconjustahappyplz:They probably did it and I didn't realize it before. Or it's new or something. Either way makes me happy. :iconchibicanadaplz:

But, to be on the safe side, I'm going to implement some new changes for my future submissions. As of right now, most of my pics in my gallery have watermarks. Although, dA's are rather huge, at least it's on there. I'm going to put a signature on my future pics, so at least it will look nicer, and be slightly less noticeable. Next, since dA already has the copyright on my story, I'm not going to change it. Lastly, today I made some watermarks on some of my fave drawings and the ones that got the most hits. In future posts, I'm going to make sure I have my name somewhere on it, before scanning it. I was going to, but everytime I went to post it, I forgot about it. These are again just to help me breathe a little easier. Especially, when I see people download my stuff. I saw one of the deviations I posted had like 27 downloads, and that freaked me out a bit. Hearing about people's art getting stolen makes you even more paranoid. But, now that I think about it, those people won out in the end. Since, dA had the copyright, and its all timed stamped. So, maybe I worried over nothing? Who knows. (And, killed about half of the day.) Oh, and I might have finished with the writing part of chapter 10, just need to edit more, and then I post it.

I finished working on 2 sentences from the grill's manual. 特にお子様の手に触れることのないようにしてください。(Tokuni okosama no te ni fureru koto no nai youni shite kudasai.) In order not to have the experience please keep children's hands from coming into contact with it. 使用中は製品のそばから離れないでください。(Shiyouchuu ha seihin no sobakara hanarenai de kudasai.) Please don't leave product out after use. (Loosely translated, and kind of shorter.)

In Hetalia, Spain is little jealous of Austria for having lucked out with North Italy. (Since Romano was such a brat when he was younger, or seemed to me.) France is having some financial difficulty and wonders why Switzerland always seems to have the most stable banks. So, he opens a new bank. It has technology from America (a super computer), 'perfect' security, and beautiful employees just because. As soon as they open, the employees go on strike. Apparently, in France strikes are every day occurrences that happen all over the country. They actually have a 'strike schedule', but some come out of no where and aren't on the 'schedule'. The tomatoes found in Southern Italy's cuisine came from Spain's influence. There was a new song! About time! It's been the same ending song since the beginning of the series. (Gets old after a while.)

Wahoo! I started another anime! (Since I'm technically done watching Zan Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei.) It's called Letter Bee or Tegami Bachi. It's very interesting so far, and the art is pretty awesome! Gauche Suede finds an 'orphan' on his postal route where he's supposed to pick up a package. (Gauche's in the background of the pic.) Apparently, this kid is the package. He even has a label with postage stamps on it. His name's Lag Seeing. I like how the label says he's fragile, too. Gauche has a companion, that in his occupation they call Dingos. It's a dog named Roda who helps him with his work. A Letter Bee is basically a postman. They're a member of the Amberground National Postal Service. After greeting lag and introducing himself, he tells him he's considered as just a package he has to deliver. He's supposed to deliver him to Sabrina Mary, a woman who used to live in his town. The shipper is Anne Seeing, his mother. (Who 'they' took away from him.) Gaichuu are armored insects, and only special weapons can kill them. They're dangerous, and they inhabit the darkness between towns. They react to the hearts of humans, and attack them. Part of a Letter Bee's job is to fight them. Every Letter Bee has a different weapon with a stone in the middle. Everytime they use it a little of their heart is eaten away. Since, they project a fragment of their hearts into the stone to power it. The stone has 'spirit insect' inside. (Kind of like the mosquito in amber thing, only they have powers and they can still be used.) There are several different colored stones and insects.

I played Baby Escape by Gazzyboy. I have to say it was the worst one I've played of theirs. There were SO many glitches, annoying, and the music was a bit creepy. You have to save the 'insane' baby before it hurts itself. Because of all the glitches, I gave up on it.

Super Shooter

Mood::iconchibirussiaplz:

By Rip Slyme. Kind of a fun song. It's a Japanese hip hop group. Some of their influences come from De La Soul, Public Enemy, and the Beastie Boys. Pretty much the bands I used to love.:iconchibicanadaplz: It's funny because I'm usually not into that type of music anymore. Although, most of the time I can find something I love from all genres of music still.:dummy: This is also the opening song for the anime Gantz. Which I haven't watched yet. I'm still not sure if I'd want to. :iconjustahappyplz:

Wahoo! Onion IconI went to services for the 4th time in a row. I might actually be getting back into it. This time our Rabbi led it, and he had a huge problem with his stuttering. I know it's not his fault, and he has a book coming out that he's nervous about, but it's hard to listen to it sometimes. This portion was about the Israelites complaining about not getting foods like meat, garlic, onions, etc. Even though they had manna given to them everyday. :iconchibiromanoplz:I like the part where they kept asking for the meat, and the next thing they knew there's pheasants on the ground 3 feet deep. :iconginblinking:Far more than they needed. I have to say it probably would get boring just eating manna 24/7, but on the other hand, at least you're getting food. :iconginsmileplz:One of the regulars came up to me and gave me a bone-crushing bear hug. It was nice, but I'm not used to it. He always says Mom's name when we say the Misheberach. (A healing prayer. Before we say it, we say the names of people we know that need healing.) Very nice guy. :iconchibiaustriaplz:Next week Mom's leading the service. I like the lay-led ones, and we don't have too many of them anymore. Plus, my mom's doing it, so that would be nice.

My parents' anniversary was yesterday. It's crazy! It was their 33rd. Onion IconDad made his Spanish rice, and we played a couple of games of Rummikub. Kind of low key for them, but hopefully it was nice. Rummikub's one of my fave games! :iconchibiamericaplz:

There's a lot of people faving my pelican pic still. I don't know why, really, it's not that great. :icontinoplz:I'm also trying to copyright my works. Found a site to do that with, but I'm not exactly sure how I'm going to put it into my author's comments. I'm very indecisive about it. I've been putting it off at first because I didn't think my works were that great, but now that I have some more people telling me how great it is, I'm thinking it's a good idea. I'm also a little nervous about if I'm doing it correctly.:iconchibilithuaniaplz:Maybe I'll turn off the download function too. Also, after getting my story copyrighted through this site, I see that on dA, part of it's already there. I don't know, I'll figure it out later. :iconginfacepalmplz:

Oh, we went to the market, and in their Japanese section they have a free newspaper in the language. In the time I had to read some of it at the store, I understand it all! :dummy: So, I brought it home, and I'll try to get most of the issues in the future. It should be fun! The front page has been about hiking in the northwest so far.

Youtube:
This is a spoof on Love is War, a song that's sung by the Vocaloids. Kaito's singing about how much he loves icecream, but it seems to not love him back. It's called Dattsu is Frozen.

A tribute to Russia from Hetalia set to the song Russian Lullaby. Pretty fitting, I think.

Dogfight

Mood::iconeestiplz:

By M.O.V.E. I didn't like this song at first, but it's another one that grew on me. The music has a lot of changes, which I think was why I was put off at first. Now, it sounds like the soundtrack to some epic fight.Onion Icons Kind of cool.

I edited the part of chapter 10 that I printed off. I'm thinking of filling out OC (or original character) memes from deviantART, since I keep seeing them and it might be a good idea. :iconmeganeginplz:There's memes for showing different expressions of your character, different poses, background info, and many more. It will give me another way to practice and evolve my characters more. Also, eventually I need to be more specific in my character profiles. Not things like tall, short, or medium. Filled out most of Rakesh's profile. There's a lot of unknowns, but he's new to the story, so it's ok. :icontinoplz:It's always good to see what I have down already anyways.

日本語
Finished a sentence in the grill's manual, it was another weird one. やけどの熱れがありますので、絶対に素手では触れないでください。(Yakedo no ikire ga arimasu node, zettaini sude deha sawarenai de kudasai.) Bare hands can't touch the grill, because it will result in a smoldering burn. (I might go over it again later.:iconchibirussiaplz:)

In Gintama, all the 'Santas' take Kagura's tests to find out which one's the real one. In every role-playing scenario Shinpachi's an inanimate object. First, a Christmas tree (he was practically naked), then a punching bag, and a couple of other things. Madao was always a cockroach. She's got a very twisted mind. The first one they also tried to act like they lived in Texas, deliberately knew they weren't acting like real Americans. It was actually funny. Towards the end Kagura tells them she knew who they were all along, but it made her holiday to know everyone cared. She said something cheesy also, something like everyone's a Santa. The very end of the episode she said, "Happy Merry Last Episode". :iconwtfukplz:The ending credits had a hilarious montage of the past 100 episodes.  The anime has been running for 4 years. It's not really ending, just going on hiatus. The directors said the creator is working on some new story scripts, and needed time to finish them. They also said that it's FAR from over, and it hasn't even begun yet. It will definitely return. I hope so, because not only would I be sad that it ended, but it wasn't a spectacular episode like I know they would do for the actual series finale. Also, there's too many loose ends. It's such an awesome series! :iconchibispainplz:Well, I'll just go back to it, when it starts up again.

I played Resident on Cloud by Minoto. Another funny, trippy, cute, and easy one of his. I think it was a lot more trippy than normal. Also, I played more of 1066. Played up to level 3. It's kind of addicting. Worked a lot on Zero's hands, and barely made progress on it. Oh well, I'll be able to do it on Sunday.

deviantART faves: Chrysanthemum Windy Fish Straight I did not make these! First, an awesome drawing of Japan as a Yukuza. His tattoo is awesomely detailed, and looks really cool. The Chrysanthemum's in the tattoo, and the artist describes the meaning behind the flower. By the way, it's my birth month flower. I usually think it's lame, but the more I hear about it, the more I like. The last 2 are done by an awesome artist. Her style's very interesting. The colors are always amazing! It looks more real, and has a watercolor effect. The second is an oc, and the third is a fanart of Takasugi from Gintama. You just have to see her art! She's one of the best artists on my watch list, I think. Although, all of them are great!

Rock It Down

Mood: :iconchibiamericaplz:

By M.O.V.E. Kind of a cool energetic, rock, funk, fun, dance type song. It's really grown on me!

I'm feeling a lot better than I was last night and this morning. Just had a weird pain in my gut, and for some reason it made me think a little negatively. But, I'm doing much better! We were, yet again, below normal temps today. It looked gloomy out.

I posted a pic on deviantART: More Palms It's still from when we went to Veteran's park at the pier. I already got 2 people fave it. Another person faved the pelican pic. Kind of cool! I thought no one would fave them. I don't think they're the best pics. Then, I worked on a new character's profile, Rakesh, for Alliance. I spent most of the time trying to come up with a good last name. I like to research a bit, and have some sort of meaning to my names. They're not random usually. Also, depending on where I think a character might come from, I try to make it authentic. And, when I get to it, I try to make it from a real place.

In Dear, it was the start of another story. In their world, there are 2 continents: one where demons live, the other where the humans live. The demons have a demon lord, who humans try to defeat and call themselves heroes. Demons can take the form of humans or animals. If they're human-form demons they are born with a tattoo somewhere on their body, so other demons know. When with humans they try to conceal it. Komomo is an extremely poor hero, and Subaru is her companion who travels with her. (They're in the pic.) When Komomo hears there's a reward for the capture of a group of thieves, she takes it instantly. She's a magic-wielding human. People used to make fun of her when she was a kid. They find the hideout of the Rezi demon thieves. Subaru fights with his Lycanthrope arm, which only the demon lord is supposed to possess. He tells him he was their lord, but is currently helping the 'nameless' hero. He keeps telling her that he loves her. All he asks from her is to allow him to help, and it's ok if she becomes dependent on him. When he's near a lycanthrope, his arm shakes. Komomo says they should set out on a journey to find the lycanthrope, and ask them if they can help with his body rejecting the arm.

I finished 3 sentences, but 1 was really odd. It took a while, and it still needs a little work. But, I'll go back to it after I finish the whole thing, like a couple of other sentences. Sometimes it's best to leave it and come back fresh. 網にサラダ油をひいて使用すると、こびりつきにくくなります。(Ami ni saradayu wo hiite shiyousuru to, kobiritsuki niku ku narimasu.) Using the salad oil on the network, the meat sticks to a section. (Salad oil is what they say instead of vegetable oil.) Still sounds funny. Not only that, but I couldn't find some of the meanings in my dictionary, and broke the words up more. 使用中の注意. (Shiyouchuu no chuui.) During use warning, or middle warning. 使用中は製品が大変熱くなります。(Shiyouchuu ha seihin ga taihen netsu ku narimasu.) During use product will become very hot.

In Naruto Shippuden, after Tsunade gave a long emotional speech, the elders finally approved of giving Naruto and his generation a chance against Pain. This was also after she told them they lack the power to believe. After Tsunade tells the messenger frog to relay everything back to Naruto, the frog's killed before he had a chance by Danzo. Tsunade summons her slug, Katsuyu, and orders it to separate, heal and attach to every villager. Iruka was about to be killed by Pain, but Kakashi saved him. Sakura takes charge of the hospital while it's overflowing with the injured.

I played 1066. It's strategy game based on the Battle of Hastings. It has the Vikings, the Normans, and the English fighting against each other. You start with the Vikings vs. the English. You move your troops around, attack, and taunt. I won the first battle, but got tired of it. Might go back to it.

I worked more on Zero's arms and hands. His wrists still look a little too thin. Also, I'm taking my time with the hands, since I seem to have problems drawing hands. The outline shape of them looks good.

Next, we went to the Hadassah potluck/meeting/Mahjong game. Mom brought a queso with some tortilla chips. She used to make it all the time in Texas, and while I grew up she's made it every once in a while. It's been a long time though. It's Velveeta, chunky salsa, and vegetarian refried beans all heated in the microwave until the cheese melts. (Just about the only thing Velveeta is good in, or is edible to me.) Very good stuff! It was a hit! The other stuff was good, except a rice with vegetables thing. It was just bizarre. The meeting was all about the Mahj event coming up in September. While everyone but me and someone who hates Mahj too, played Mahj, we talked again. She has to have everything spelled out for her and doesn't 'get' people. Kind of strange, but nice person.

deviantART fave: What happen? I didn't make this! Cute pic of a Beagle.

Byakkoya no Musume

Mood::iconchibigreeceplz:

Sung by Kaito. It's originally the ending song to the movie Paprika. It means Girl in Byakkoya. The movie is a bit trippy, but this song's amazing! I forgot about this song when I watched the movie. :iconcutezuraplz:It's an anime movie, but it's very unique. It's about a research psychologist who uses a device that let's therapists help their patients by entering their dreams. She uses it on patients through long distance and calls herself Paprika in their dreams. Only something goes horribly wrong. :iconbipolarginplz:It won the Best Feature Length Theatrical Anime Award at the Tokyo Anime Awards. Also, was shown at many film festivals around the world. I liked most of it. Very interesting concept. :iconmeganeginplz:

I actually had a nice normal day! :iconchibicanadaplz:Although, I felt like I had been run over by a truck this morning. I wrote and edited some more of chapter 10. I also realized I might almost be done writing this chapter. I'll still have to edit more, but I'll be able to post it soon. :iconlaplz:

Ball and Jio finally figure out the right stone formation for the key. When they go inside they meet Kirin's pet Jajamaru. (They were calling him Chilin before, now it's Kirin? Oh, well.) Who leads them to him. His pet looks like a cross between a dog, cat, and sheep. He calls it his dog, and tells them instead of barking it makes an 'unn' sound. Kirin's also obsessed with pickles. After Jio tells him he needs his O-part repaired, Kirin agrees to doing it if they play his 'games'. He also tells them he'll make the O-part better than it was before. Jajamaru's actually an O.P.T too, and his O-part's a wolf bone. Kirin reminds me  a lot of Jiraiya. With seeming to not take things seriously, he drinks all the time, and he's teaching and training them without them realizing it. Calling the training a game. Jio and Ball both improve and get stronger. Ruby busts out of her cell with the help of Amidaba.

Finished 2 sentences, but I'm still unsure about the way I translated them. Working on another one. I'll have to go back to the one's I'm unsure about later, might also make more sense once I look at that whole section? I know I'm close with one. It's saying something like the body (of the grill) will stay warm for a while after use. The other one really doesn't make much sense yet.

I started playing some of my Classic Rock Clarinet solos book. It sounds horrible. The way it's written doesn't sound like the songs, and doesn't sound much like anything. So, I stopped and finished with a couple of Irish tunes.

In Fairy Tail, Era's planning on wiping out all the Dark Guilds. Eisenwald's members were arrested and they can't seem to find Eligor. Erza and Natsu start to fight, but are interrupted by a messenger from the Council. They charge her with 11 counts of property damage and arrest her. Her trial's held at the Council's Fiore Branch. Natsu went on his own to save Erza. He bursts through a wall and tries to impersonate her, hoping they'll throw him in jail instead of Erza. It was all a formality to show other mages that the Council still enforces the law. Mystogan goes into the guild and everyone but the master passes out. His forte is sleeping magic. He's one of the strongest men in Fairy Tail. Every time he goes to check for a job he puts everyone to sleep, so they don't see his face. Laxus is another one of the strongest men of Fairy Tail. He considers himself 'the' strongest one. There are only 5 people who can do S-rank jobs. Happy and Natsu stole a poster from the S-rank jobs, and are going to do it without permission to become stronger. Lucy only agrees to joining them when she sees one of the rewards is a key.

I played Garden TD. It was kind of a fun tower defense game. You defend your garden with gnomes, cactus, gum, gas, poison, and lasers.

I drew more of Zero's anatomy. His legs and feet are basically done. I'm working on his arms and hands. I fixed a few things that seemed a bit off too.

This reminded me too much of Buster! :iconjustahappyplz:

Boku Wa Haineko

Mood::iconchibienglandplz:

Sung by the Len Vocaloid. In English: I'm a Grey Cat. Kind of a funny song. It's about a cat that everyone says looks dirty, but he ignores them and believes he's just silver. Just because he's different than other cats, doesn't mean he's not better than them. :iconeduardplz:

I had a horrible night last night.:iconwtfukplz:I was wide awake at 3, and thought I'd never get back to sleep. :iconjustaway-deathstare:Sometime around 5:30 I finally fell asleep again. So, because of that I had to get up later, and my day has been a bit off. I also got an annoying and rude phone call. :icongermanyplz:So, this might not be the peachiest day for me. :iconannoyedgin-plz:

I posted 3 pics on deviantART: Bridge Bridge 2 Pelican In the first, the bridge that you can see at the pier in Veteran's park is opening. Second, is the bridge fully opened. :iconjustahappyplz:Third, a pelican that was pretty hard to get at the pier. He kept circling our heads, and was very fast. He was huge too. I knew they were big, but when you see one up-close it's a bit different. Someone already faved that one! :iconlaplz:I haven't posted anything in a long time, so that was good.

I organized all of the Florida pics and the ones I took at home beforehand. It was a ton of pics and took me a long time.:iconbrothercanadaplz: But, now it should be easier to find them. :iconchibiamericaplz:I also found pics to post on my music artists' sections or 'albums' on my computer. Then, I organized those too. Some songs were 'unknown' to my computer so a lot of it was labeling. Plus, now the albums from the same artist are together, instead of scattered throughout the list.:iconginfacepalmplz:

deviantART faves: Hetalia Meme Lithuania Animation APH- America and the Island Gintama- Dakimakura I did not make these! First, a pretty well done meme on Hetalia. I usually don't see too many good ones. And, they actually filled out the political awareness section, usually people have no idea what to put and just say they're too lazy. So props to this artist! Second, a cute animation of Lithuania. He gets scared too easily. Third, is a comic based on America's fascination with the show Lost. She tries to introduce herself to America, but it takes years to do it. There's even the 'smoke monster' coming out of her. Pretty awesome, if you're either a Hetalia and/or Lost fan. Last, a cute drawing of Katsura sleeping on a pile of Elizabeth pillows.

Youtube:
A funny Prussia version of Marisa Stole the Precious Thing. It's even at a lower octave and sounds a lot like him.
