Naruto Ondo

Mood:Onion Icon

It's from the Uzumaki Naruto CD. This one's really fun to listen to. MSN Onion IconHas the voice actors singing from Naruto, and they make fun of them a bit. Like how Naruto says Datebayo! a lot, Sakura's Shannara!, Akamaru's barking, the sharingan, and other fun things. Onion IconsAt the end they're watching the fireworks together. I love how that song flows and is very upbeat. Onion Icons Well, today's the 2nd day of Passover! I had a tuna salad on my matzah sandwich, and had some Charoset with it and a little matzah toffee. I love that stuff! Onion Icon(Apples, some candy like wine (low alcohol content), cinnamon, and walnuts mixture.) I also had a kichel. They're tiny, but I hadn't had one yet, and thought I should have at least one today. It's like a hard egg puff with a little sugar on top, hard to describe, but they are good! Onion Icons

I played Mozart again as a warm up, and started playing my Klezmer songs. These songs seem to go on forever since there are so many repeats and codas. Onion IconsI like them, even though the keys change constantly, too. I also wrote some more. The part I'm writing now, is making me a bit hungry. Onion Icons I also took a couple more pics of our neighborhood.

Jio and Ruby make it to Entotsu, which is known as the City of Fog. It looks similar to a giant pot with steam coming out of it. No one can communicate with the outside world, because of how thick the steam is. The government is ordering the residents to dig and find O-parts for them. They make even the kids work, all day every day. They beat you if you 'slack off' or take a break. They kill you if you try to escape the city. The mayor, reminds me a bit of Java the Hut, and is even named Jagga. :P (Hmmm... Awfully similar! MSN Onion Icon) He captures Ruby, and plans to eat her. (Wow! I just realized that part looked awfully familiar to the movie too!) Jio meets the resistance. They're planning to infiltrate the mayor's mansion, but Jio and a kid named Ball, go off on their own to find info and try to rescue Ruby. They find out that one of the people that the government's trying to protect its citizens from are working together. Wise the 'Crimson Magician', is that person. He's known to kill anyone who annoys him, and can turn an entire city red with blood. Jio and Ball get caught spying on them.MSN Onion Emoticon

日本語
I was going to continue writing the letter back to my penpal, but I can't seem to find her letter.Onion Emoticon It will probably pop up tomorrow.Onion Icons I did get 7 example sentences done. 彼らは早く上がられます。They will be climbing up soon. 彼女は上がられません。She isn't going up. 私はあなたは私と上がらせる。I'm making you climb with me. 私はあなたはカーテンを上がらせない。I'm not making you raise the curtain. あなたは上がらせます。You have to go up. 私たちはあなたは上がらせません。We're not making you go up. 彼らは上がらせられる。He is made to go up. 彼らは彼が上がらせられない。They didn't make him come up.

Lucy's team make it to the train station. (The pic has them all- Natsu, Erza, Happy (in the middle), Lucy, and Grey.) They find that all the guards are knocked out, and the Dark guild is waiting for them. The team is led to think that the guild's plan is to broadcast Lullaby across the city, killing everyone who heard it. But, Eligor is really going to use it at the place the guild masters are meeting. He uses wind magic, and makes a barrier with it, so no one gets out. Erza's awesome when she fights! She uses magic weapons like axes, spears, and swords. But, she's the fastest at switching between them. Also, her armor changes into a really cool weapon. It's like she turns into a battle angel or something. She has wings, that are more like spears coming out of her back, and other cool weapons built into it. Grey finally uses his ice magic. Really awesome too!

I played A Blob Tale. It's a very interesting point and click game. You look a bit like a really fat blue hamster.Onion EmoticonsThis game really makes you think, and was cute, and a bit creepy. I couldn't kill the last boss, because I got too frustrated. Onion Emoticon Set

I had two ideas of what to draw next. I decided to draw a seder plate with the stuff in the little cups and Hebrew labels. The other option was starting to draw Zero. But, I thought since it's still Passover, why not have a Passover themed one?MSN Onion EmoticonsI'm tried to make it as big as I could, but I didn't have a big enough circle template. So, I improvised a bit and used a few of my biggest circles, and a couple of the next biggest. It ended up kind of an oval shape, but I like the way it looks, so I'll keep that. The cups are looking good so far, too. We'll see how the stuff in them and the Hebrew is going to come out. I might put matzah in the background.MSN Onion Emoticons

Happy Passover! ^_^

Mood:MSN Onion Icons

Chag Sameach! Happy holidays! Dance! Well, last night's seder was very nice. MSN Onion EmoticonsWe had 3 people attend. 2 of them brought a roasted chicken, potato kugel (similar to potato cassarole), and asperagus. The other person brought a nice salad. We had hard boiled eggs (which I screwed up a bit!Onion Emoticon) and gefilte fish for the beginning of the meal. Gefilte fish is basically a cold fish loaf. It's got 3 different fish, that's cooked together, mashed up, seasoned, and formed into mounds. It's better than it might sound!Onion IconsOne of my fave things for Pesach or Passover! Next, we had matzah ball soup. It's similar to chicken noodle soup, only instead of noodles we have matzah meal (pulverized matzah) formed into balls. They're like dumplings. I also made the popovers we had with the stuff people brought. They're similar to buns, and are made out of matzah meal, margarine, and tons of eggs. Everybody loved these. Onion Icons

For dessert, Mom made a pudding with whipped cream on top, and mandarin oranges on the bottom in a tall glass. It was so good! Onion IconsWe also had the matzah toffee I made the other day. Funny thing is, most of the caramel seeped to the bottom part of the matzah, and it was more chewy than normal. Onion IconBut, everyone, including me, loved it. One person said it tasted sinful. Onion IconsI'm so happy people liked most of the stuff I made! Onion IconWe also had regular and chocolate covered macaroons, and candied fruit slices.

I was so full by the end of it! Onion IconBut, I also had a lot of fun, talking and singing. MSN Onion IconWe're going to have a much shorter one with my parents and I tonight. We're using the Haggadahs I used in college. I love those! Most things are shorter, but the songs and the after meal prayers are much longer than the other version. Plus, they give you ideas of what you can do for your seder. Like, you can leave an empty plate out for the hungry. Put flowers out, and other things.

It was very helpful when you're totally on your own for it. Onion EmoticonsAll my friends loved it, too. I kept telling them they'll probably get bored, because of how long it is. But, they always enjoyed it. One friend loved the eating parsley part, and every year I had it, she told me she'd be happy to bring the parsley. Onion IconsEveryone in my dorms, especially in the last one (since we actually had a stove), loved when I cooked during that week. It smelled nice, and they always asked me if they could have some. Since I was usually the only Jew on the floor, it was very interesting to them. MSN Onion Emoticon

I had the granola Mom made for breakfast. Very good stuff! Onion IconsAlso, I had a peanut butter and jelly matzah sandwich for lunch. That's very good too, and what a lot of people have. I had the kosher for Passover chips, too. They're basically the same as regular chips.Onion Icons

I watched a new show on TV Japan called Asa Ichi or One Morning. It replaced another show I liked, but now that I've watched it, I think it may be better. Onion IconsThey give lots of tips on things, go to many different towns, show what's new in Japan, and even cook. It's also a much longer program. They have a piglet for a mascot. Onion Icon

Today, they talked about the new Tokyo tower called Tokyo Sky Tree that's being constructed. It's already quite a bit taller than the original. MSN Onion IconsThey just added the elevator shaft. It looks similar to a giant version of our Space Needle. People have mixed opinions about it.

Next, they went to a town known for their salt production. Watched how they extract the salt from seawater. They had a barbecue with many different fish, and of course the salt was added to everything. Onion Icon

They later had many laundry tips. It was actually very helpful. Then, they made a potato and ground beef dish. The only thing I didn't understand was what she used to 'power the seasoning up'. Onion Emoticon SetI'll have to find it on their site. They also had someone make a juice mixed drink. (That's what they called it.) It had carrot and apple juice, and actually sounded good. They also have quizzes on things, and read out the emails/ letters from people who watch the show. Very interesting.MSN Onion Icons

Zesshou

Mood:Onion Icon

From the Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei Best CD. I love the way this one sounds! Zesshou means Excellent Song. (Or superb song.) I especially like how it ends with Zetsubou shita! Which, means I'm in despair! and is sensei's or Nozomu's signature phrase. Onion Icons In fact, the voice actor, Kamiya Hiroshi, for him is singing it. (Wonderful singer too!MSN Onion Icon) I posted 2 pics on deviantART: Fountain at Park Close up of Fountain I also put 4 pics up on my fave forum, one of which I didn't post on DA. Onion Icon It came out well, I'm just not sure if I want to post it on there.

This part was mainly about Madam Red's funeral. Ciel puts a rose in her hair and drapes a red dress over her, saying the color red suits her more. Onion IconsCiel  also told the undertaker to make a grave for the victim he couldn't save. He feels he owes her that much.

Played Mozart as another warm up. Almost done with playing my Gershwin book, only one more song. I think I'll play my Klezmer book, since it makes sense on such a big holiday.MSN Onion Icon(Klezmer's basically Jewish jazz. Came from Europe mostly.) I still have a dream to make my own Klezmer band, not sure if it will ever happen, though. Onion Icons

I scared that chicken good!MSN Onion Emoticon SetIt slowly walked up to our screen door again, and I didn't move until it was really close. I opened the door and it was so scared it tumbled across the deck.Onion EmoticonsThen, it made it back to the green belt that's in between us and the farm. Apparently, it wasn't good enough, because all day it's been peaking its head out and looking at the house. I just wanted it to be scared enough to find its way back home.Onion EmoticonI don't know if it survived the storm we just had. It was down pouring, there was hail, and wind. We haven't seen it since the storm started. It's either dead or made it back home. MSN Onion Icons

I made Passover popovers. They're really good.Onion IconThey're like buns, only made out of matzah meal. (Ground up matzah.) I found out later, that my boiled eggs weren't cooked all the way.Onion EmoticonMom heated them up, and tried peeling them, but most didn't turn out too well. Onion Emoticon

I've also been cleaning most of the day, and feel pretty worn out now.Onion IconOur seder's starts in about 30 to 40 minutes!MSN Onion Emoticon SetCrazy! But, it should still be fun. We're having 3 people over. Small, but a nice group of people.MSN Onion Emoticons
