Innocence

Mood: :iconthailandplz:

By Alice Nine. Another great rocking song from them. The translation of the lyrics is very interesting. They actually put thought into their songs. One of the lines pretty much sums up what they're singing: "We are all just alone in the end, searching for our place to be." I think it's cool. :iconspainplz:

It was pretty warm yesterday. Close to around 80 (~27C). It was pretty nice.:iconchibicanadaplz:Watched Bambino on Friday. Only 2 more episodes left!:iconprussiaplz:Ban seems to get depressed in almost every episode. He was practicing for a competition that if you win, you'll get to work the kitchen. And have your dish on the menu. He was trying so hard, he was neglecting his actual work. He realized and backed out of it. Letting someone whose wanted to work in the kitchen for 2 years, win. A year goes by, and they realize how hard he's worked as a waiter, and tell him he can finally work in the kitchen again.:iconchibipolandplz:The preview for the next episode sounded like it would be the finale. But, there's one more episode up.:confused:

I watched Ando Natsu on Saturday. It's always a touching and emotional show. I usually hate that type of thing, but this seems different. I guess more genuine?:shrug:Oyakata's mother visits, and Ryuu leaves his family to become a better chef.

Today, I watched a new drama called Gonzo: Densetsu no Keiji. Or Gonzo: The Legendary Detective. It's a lot better than I thought it would be.:iconchibispainplz:It's funny, intense, smart, and reminds me a bit of our police dramas like Law and Order: SVU or Criminal Minds. Maybe a little CSI, too. Gonzo is slang for a police officer who doesn't work or do his job in Japanese. In English, it can mean an idiot, or crazy. So, it has a double meaning. His real name's Kuroki. One of the female detectives may have been killed.:iconitalyishorrifiedplz:She was walking with someone to their train station in the rain, when they were shot suddenly. The hospital told them that one of them died. They're not telling us who.:iconromanoplz:I liked her, and that was out of the blue. They have a victim's counselor at the police station. She's funny, and smart. Kuroki is seeing her because of a traumatic experience he had while working in the homicide unit. Again, they haven't told us exactly what happened to him.:iconkikuplz:He worked in the equipment unit after that. (Kind of like a Lost and Found.) By the end of the episode, they wanted him working in homicide again.

I'm going to start a few more dramas in the next few days.:iconheroamericaplz:More of an opportunity to hear and learn more Japanese. Also, I'll get to find out some more about the culture. I went to services again!:dummy: We had a pretty good turn out. Some people from the other congregation showed up, so that was interesting. The Rabbi led it this time. I couldn't pay too much attention to the drash, because I was trying to get the sun out of my eyes. It, of course, was coming through a window up towards the ceiling at me just as he was talking.:iconchibienglandplz:He talked a little about sukkahs. (Sukkot is plural, really.) Since, it was still the holiday. By the way, today's the 4th day!:iconchibiamericaplz:The Rabbi shook the lulav and etrog, and we had kiddush outside in the synagogue's sukkah. Kiddush is when we say the blessings over the wine (or grape juice) and the challah. It ends the service.

For lunch I ate in our sukkah, in the backyard. It was really nice.:iconchibisitalyplz:Also, had something I haven't eaten in years, Beefaroni.:wow:I don't think I've had it since I was really little. Later, we went shopping and went to a brewery called Silver City. We've been there many times, but they supposedly revamped their menus. I got a Greek pizza. It was so good!:iconitalyplz:We ate in their outside seating area. Kind of like eating under a sukkah.:iconfrancisplz:I couldn't eat the whole pizza so it made a nice lunch for today.

I played a little of the Sims 2. Finally, got both Prussia and Hungary promoted a few times. They're making enough, I might let them have a kid. Hungary really wants one. They also have their own little money tree grove. Like 4 or 5 trees together. I could put down more. They give $40 each, and they're ready to be harvested every couple of hours. I'd like one of those.:iconusaplz:I also did my nails again. This time it's called Scarlett O'Hara. So, naturally, it's a very dark red. It's got a little sparkle in there too.:iconchibihungaryplz:I bought the DVD-RW's finally! I had wanted them for a while. That should come by the end of the week. And, it was free shipping! Since I was on Amazon already, I looked at my account. I got rid of, at least, half the things I wanted a year ago on my lists.:iconwtfromanoplz:I got really distracted by everything on there. And was on there longer than I had hoped. Was able to find a couple more songs, though. Later, I have to plan out what I'm making for this week's dinners.:iconchibilithuaniaplz:

Kiss Twice, Kiss Me Deadly

Mood::iconchibifinlandplz:

By Alice 9. I think it's a cover for another song. It's got a rockin' and cool sound.:iconchibihungaryplz:I love their version of it. Kind of a fun one.

I don't know why, but today feels a bit off.:iconchibijapanplz:It might be because of how dark and cold its been. We're still way below normal. The end of August felt like November. Crazy!:iconromanorageplz:Tonight, since Dad won't be home for dinner, we're going to make a frittata. I say we, because Mom's been planning to make it for a while. But, I'm not sure if she can. So, maybe it will be both of us.:iconsleepygreeceplz:I don't know. Sounds good anyways.:iconitalyplz:

I wrote a bit more of chapter 12. Made me a little hungry, because I had to describe what one of my characters cooked. She's crazy with her cooking in the story.:iconfrancisplz:I didn't really feel like playing my clarinet. Hopefully, I will tomorrow.:iconhongkongplz:Got a little bit more done on the udon package. Computer was acting a bit slow, so I couldn't do as much as I would have liked. (Either updating or internet connection, couldn't really tell.:iconchibienglandplz:) Might do more later today.
In O-parts Hunter, Jio realizes a little too late that Mr. Wick was really like a father to him. He finds out that Wick bought a baseball and mitt, and was going to play catch with him. After that, he runs back to their place. When he arrives, he finds out it was too late. A couple of Zenom members had killed both Wick and Basil. They also leave a note saying if you want revenge, meet them somewhere. Ball and Ruby arrive a little later. Jio asks them to stay with Basil and Wick for a little longer. While, he goes off to fight them on his own. Elga, fights him first. He attacks shadows with his dagger o-parts. Jio easily defeats him, but one of his daggers pins Jio down. While the other one's talking to him, he transforms into 'Satan' trying to get free. Kirin saves him in the nick of time. Apparently, this other Zenom is Kirin's younger brother Kujaku. He says they're descendants of the 'long considered extinct' original civilization. Kirin was the one who inherited that 'blood' from their father. After his little talk, Kujaku leaves. Kirin, Jio, Ruby, and Ball decide to head north in search of the Kabalah. (That sounds so weird to me.:iconenglandispervyplz:)
In Fairy Tail, Natsu finally destroys Jupiter, the magic behind the canon, with a little help from tricking his opponent. (In the pic.) The guild transforms into a giant and stands up. Gray and Elfman join Natsu and Happy inside it. Jose looked right through Mira trying to pose as Lucy, and starts to crush her. Elfman fights Sol. Sol's creepy!:iconitalyishorrifiedplz:He gets into Elfman's memories. Who's Mira and Lisanna's brother. The first time he did a full body Take Over, he killed Lisanna. She was trying to get him to remember who he was. Since, he had lost all reasoning. When he heard Mira cry, he woke himself out of his memories, and did a full body Take Over again.

I tried to draw another chibi version of Ravel. I got a simple looking head, which is good. But, everytime I tried to draw his body, it looked too weird to me.:iconwtfukplz:If I was drawing a normal body, it probably wouldn't look so weird. Oh, well. I like the head I drew of him yesterday. I'm a little reluctant to ink it. I don't really want to screw it up.:iconkikuplz:Maybe tomorrow I'll be able to do it. Or what I could do is scan it, and see what I can do with it in Photoshop. I messed around a bit with coloring in that program. Using one of Zero's heads. It was kind of fun.:iconeestiplz:

deviantART faves: Oculars TFH What I Ate Meme I did not make these! First, an awesome chart of all the different types of eyes in Naruto. (Like, the different stages of Sharingan, Naruto's, Orochimaru's, etc.) Second, a meme about what you ate during the day. Either by drawing it in, or googling it and pasting those pics on. Sounds like it would be fun!

Atmosphere

Mood::iconchibiamericaplz:

By Alice Nine. Kind of a cool sounding song. The imagery in the lyrics are amazing, too. Alice Nine's a Visual Kei and Oshare-Kei band. (I don't know much about the Oshare ones. So, that's interesting.) They formed in 2004. They vary from being in the soft alternative rock to hard rock genre. I might be becoming a fan of them, too.:iconfrancisplz:

Today's been kind of cold. We're supposed to be in the mid 70's, but for last few days its been 59 to 64. Crazy! It's Fall weather, but it's not Fall yet!:iconromanoplz:My mom left this morning for her first treatment of Doxil. It's a type of chemotherapy. They have to administer it through an IV for 4 hours.:iconitalyishorrifiedplz:Just for the first one. After that, they'll do it faster and it will be like an hour, I think. Plus, she had to be with a nurse before hand for a half hour. I hope it went ok, and doesn't take too much out of her and that it's not too painful.:iconamericasadchibiplz:They said she'll probably lose some hair again. I'm hoping this works at least a little.

I watched Naruto Shippuden yesterday, and it was crazy!:iconus-xdplz:Nagato revived everyone he had killed (after making peace with Naruto), then died.:iconsadrussia:So, Kakashi, the Toad Sage, Shizune, and many others; are back. I was thinking, they can't kill them off yet, since they're such big players in the show.:iconkikuplz:Konan's leaving the Akatsuki, and also believes Naruto will bring peace. When Naruto makes it back to the village, everyone cheers for him. It almost felt like it was the end of the series.:iconchibijapanplz:I know it's not, just felt so...final. Hopefully, he'll become the Hokage because of it. Or at least, after the 5th dies. It was a pretty cool episode. Fairy Tail was pretty cool, too.

I posted a pic Catfish on dA. Someone faved it already! Yay! :dummy:

Read a bit more of the manga version of Hetalia. They talk a bit more about Canada. :iconchibicanadaplz:Also, about his love of maple syrup. It was very interesting, how the creator came up with the series. (He makes a note on this page.) His name's Himaruya Hidekaz. He came up with it while studying in New York. He was fascinated by the people from so many different nationalities living there. The 'melting pot' of cultures. At first, he wanted to draw a useless hero with New York as a backdrop. After researching some countries, initially, he thought it would be a one-shot. Sounds like even he didn't think it would get so big.:iconchibirussiaplz:He started with an interest in Italy.:iconchibinitalyplz:I'm liking the creator more and more. And, the series too!:iconchibihungaryplz:
日本語
Yesterday, I finished the Zaru Udon (ざるうどん) or Chilled Udon section. And, today, I'm halfway through the Yosenabe Udon (うどん寄せ鍋) or Udon Hot Pot section. Zaru is a bamboo draining basket. Cook the udon, quickly put it on a zaru and run it over cold water, let it drain. Then, put a helping in a bowl, choose your favorite broth and condiments to garnish on top. It's ready to eat.
In Shiki, it's getting creepier and creepier.:iconchibichinaplz:Although, I'm oddly fascinated by it. (I like horror, but this is a bit psychological, too.) The children of the town have more of an idea then most of the adults of what's going on. The adult who's catching on almost as quick as the kids, is the doctor Toshio. After speaking to the monk about it, he's starting to suspect it, too. They're not sure if these 'visitors' are vampires, zombies, or a folk tale the town has.:iconwtfukplz:They kind of sound like they are a mixture. Some zombies, some vampires, etc. I could be wrong.

deviantART faves: Friends 6 APH: World Issues Bad Friends Advice Robin- 4jo I did not make these! First, this comic is so true! Second, a drawing of Russia with the smoke, China with the flooding, and England with the possibility of another recession. Third, France and Spain trying to give advice to Prussia. Fourth, a very cute and well done pic of a small Robin Redbreast.

Youtube:
A funny Hetalia vid. I've heard the song on a Gintama amv, but this one's more cute, I guess:
Another cute Hetalia vid. It's cool they fit in a lot of the countries. It's they're chibi versions doing a dance:
A cool tribute to the Asian countries in Hetalia:
