National Blueberry Pancake Day!

Mood::iconchibiaustriaplz:

That's one of my fave types of pancake. They're simple to make for something so good, too. Banana chocolate pancakes are pretty good too. You can put almost anything in the batter for pancakes.:iconheroamericaplz:

Today was cold and rainy. Perfect for a still semi-low mood. Although, towards the middle of the day I felt empowered for some reason.:iconyayhanatamagoplz:Hope that keeps up. I started with my 45 sit-ups 2 times a day for this week. I can't believe I did it this morning.:iconfrancisplz:I'll be amazed if I can manage to do it for the whole week. It feels a bit odd after that many. But, I'll keep adding sit-ups in increments of 5 for both times each week. I'll see how long I can do that for. There might be a limit to how many I can do...:icongermanyplz:But, we'll see.

I have decided to stop going to the cafe on Wednesdays.:iconhongkongplz:Mainly because of the guilt-tripping, people only into mahj (and I'm not), older people, and all in all just not my crowd. I realized that the only thing connecting them to me is my mom. Other than that, we don't share anything and sometimes they treat me like I'm a mini version of Mom.:iconromanoplz:Which I obviously am not. I'm a totally different person. (Although, we did share a few things in common. But, that's it.) So, why not stop going?:iconchibinitalyplz:I'm thinking I might go occasionally on Thursdays, since it's still a great place to study and be with people. It's more like a social hall or a pub. Plenty of others to get to know. I somehow feel really good with this decision.:iconchibihungaryplz:Now, I just have to tell the person who drove me that I'm not going. I can get pretty close to the cafe by bus, so I don't really need rides there. I can also go at a time I want to go. And, might not spend 3 hours each time I go.:iconkikuplz:Again, I don't have to go every week either.

I watched the Hana Yori Dango Final movie. I thought it was really good, and a perfect end to the series. Makino and Domyouji are about to get married. They have to find a really expensive tiara that has been handed down for generations through the family. It was stolen from them. Supposedly, the bride-to-be gets to have it. They travel around the world, and realize that something seems fishy about it. Later they find out that the tiara's a fake, and Makino's family wanted to make sure that she really loved him. So, they came up with an elaborate scheme, with the help of Domyouji's mother. Makino and Domyouji really bonded in one of their last destinations. It was a deserted island. They lived there for what they thought was at least 2 months. They hunted, scavenged, fought off wildlife, did their clothes, went swimming, etc. all on their own. Since their love only grew through this experience both of Makino's parents and Domyouji's mother approved of them. They had a really beautiful wedding put up by Rui. Towards the end of the movie, Makino tells Domyouji that she's pregnant. I don't remember the end of the anime, but I thought this was a really nice way to tie up things.

Since Monsters is still raw/not subbed yet (I still need it when they speak really fast, or use words/phrases I'm not familiar with), so I watched another episode of Cartoon KAT-TUN. This time it was with an otaku or 'anime geek' as some like to call them. They're really any type of geek. But, this person is a singer that does opening/ending themes for many anime shows. She's also a mangaka or comic artist. She was quite crazy with the wealth of info she had on anime. Particularly really old ones like Dragon Ball and Sailor Moon. Koki is apparently an otaku too, and went at it with her. It was kind of amusing to watch. They also did a quiz on anime songs. The guys almost beat her, but she got the last one. Then, one of her idols, who sang one of her fave anime's opening song showed up. She went nuts. It was the 40th anniversary of when he put it out. They also had a drawing game. Interesting results. One of the last couple of episodes I saw explained the meaning behind the band's name, KAT-TUN. Each letter stands for each members' first letter of their family name. Kazuya Kamenashi, Jin Akanishi (this was before he left the band, now they use the first 2 letters of Kazuya's last name), Junnosuke Taguchi, Koki Tanaka, Tatsuya Ueda, and Yuichi Nakamaru. Kind of cool.
I started Cuticle Tantei Inaba (or Cuticle Detective Inaba) a while ago. At first, I wasn't quite sure of it. They could royally screw this up with the type of rhythm and humor it has, or it could be hilarious and awesome. After a few episodes into it, it has already grown on me. So, it's definitely not horrible. No one seems to die in this anime, despite being mauled by dogs, multiple gunshots to the head, having a refrigerator fall on you, etc. I like those type of anime shows. Each character is eccentric, and has many quirks. They also seem to be superhumanly strong. It's about Hiroshi Inaba who's an artificially created being. Formed by splicing the genes of both a human and a wolf. (He's a werewolf, essentially.) He gains info by tasting and examining people's hair. And has a huge hair fetish. With the help of his assistant/secretary, Yuta (who cross-dresses and is extremely sadistic, he's mistaken for a girl constantly), he can become more wolf-like, and gain special powers and perform different attacks depending on the type or color of hair he eats. Formally employed by the police and partnered with a police officer, he now runs his own private detective agency. With the help of Yuta and Kei. (Kei seems really normal compared to the others.) Kei actually has a big thing for cats. He's allergic, but is fanatic about them. Hiroshi's previous partner, Kuniharu Ogino, also helps out with many of the cases. (He's obsessed with his daughter.) His archenemy is Don Valentino, an evil goat who eats money. His henchman are really bizarre.:iconseychelles-plz:
Started reading Mix Vegetable a little while ago, too. The art is a bit different, and I'm not usually into such shoujo-ish type art. But, its oddly grown on me. Hanayu Ashitaba is the daughter of a celebrated patisserie, but all she wants to do is become a sushi chef. Hayato Hyuga is the son of a prestigious sushi chef, and all he wants to do is become a patisserie. Both are chefs in training at Oiwaka High School. Ashitaba believes if she marries Hyuga, her parents will understand her wanting to be a sushi chef and she'd get a reputation. So, she tries to appeal to Hyuga, but usually ends up becoming angry and yells at him. The last chapter that I read he asks her out, but she thinks it's like he lost a bet or is a punishment game. She finds out that he does have some feelings for her. I like the cooking stuff they refer to. So, it's not all about 'romance'. I'll see how long I'll continue with this. It's surprisingly entertaining, and interesting.:iconchibiswedenplz:

Played my clarinet today. Did some klezmer tunes. Managed to add some new ones to my practice list, because I felt I perfected those other ones enough to move on. These 'newer' songs are even tougher. So, that'll be a nice challenge.:iconberwaldplz:I'll go over them a lot of times, like I did with the previous ones. Tomorrow, I'll probably listen to them on youtube, if they have them. I don't know where the CD to my book went...:iconswissplz:So, youtube is my avenue for it. It's good to get a sense of how others play it. I learn better after hearing it, and reading the notes/rhythm as they go along. It's like all the pieces come together that way. There are some songs where I get them easily if I just look at them on the page. But, the tougher ones I get a much better feeling for it this way. Plus, it's nice to hear how others embellish the tunes. Klezmer can be very much up to the musician, but it has to follow a certain base melody. So, you have to have some grounding in it first.

Edited a bit of chapter 19 of Alliance. Kind of let my mind wander a bit with it, too. Now I have some really interesting ideas for it. Went over the kanji for blood which is: 血. Pronounced as ち or chi, けつ or ketsu. I already knew this one, but needed to go over writing it. Apparently, I had been writing it incorrectly before.:iconohboyamericaplz:Went over some compounds for it, too. Things like blood transfusion, blood vessel/vein, etc. Those were interesting. This kanji is supposed to look like blood going into a container. Kind of creepy, yet interesting to me. Translated more of a You Manga article I'm working on. Scanned some of my drawings for panels of another original character meme. This is a really long meme, but there are parts you can post in sections as you fill them out. I'll edit these few drawings tomorrow in Photoshop. I think most of my drawings (including the ones I haven't scanned yet) for it turned out pretty well. So, this showed be fun.:iconeestiplz:

Tomorrow, the support group is having a potluck and a movie showing. That should be great. Dad made some of her red beans and rice. It's slightly different than usual, but it looks and smells good.

Peking Duck Day!

Mood::iconchibicanadaplz:

Peking duck is awesome!:la:Actually, duck in general is really good. I don't have it often, though. Peking duck originated in Beijing, China during the imperial era. It's considered a national dish of China.

I finally got my calendars Wednesday night! One focuses on spices, and the other is a Jewish calendar done by the same people who did my last Jewish one. It has pics of the Jewish Historical Museum's collection in Amsterdam. I think both these calendars have better pics than my previous ones.

The spice one has garlic for this month. I absolutely love garlic!:iconfrancisplz:Has an interesting up close pic of it. It gives some background on its history and what it used to be used for. Also gives ideas and suggestions for using it in dishes. And, has some wine pairings at the bottom. Much more in depth than my herb calendar. I like that. And it's useful.:iconeestiplz:Even though I knew most of the info for garlic, I might not for some of the other ones. So, we'll see. It even has Purim on it for next month. You hardly ever see that on regular calendars.

On my Jewish calendar they have a painting called Interior of Jewish Home for Elderly People by Eduard Frankfort. It's from Amsterdam from 1880-1920. There's also a Torah binder that's hand painted and made out of cotton. From the Netherlands, after 1775-1825. (I guess they didn't know specifically where and from what time it came from.:iconusaplz:) Very interesting.

Here's the month-long holidays: Apple and Apricots Month, Artichoke and Asparagus Month, Get Organized Month, National Hot Tea Month, National Soup Month, Oatmeal Month, National Egg Month. Some are important causes, some are to make you appreciate things you may take for granted, and some are just for fun. I love apricots, artichokes, tea, oatmeal and eggs. Soups, asparagus, and apples aren't bad either. Interesting that they're mostly food holidays this time.:iconheroamericaplz:

My meds finally came at the same time as my calendars.:iconlachoirplz:Funny, because I ordered the calendars a few days before my meds. Anyways, I usually have 1 big pill and 2 small, twice a day. (Of the same med. The dosage for it is a bit odd, but it works so I'm not knocking it.:iconhongkongplz:) Tuesday night I had to have 1 big pill and 1 small. Then for Wednesday afternoon, just 1 big pill. I felt like I was drowning under water. Like someone was holding me under.:iconitalyishorrifiedplz:I think it would have been a lot worse if I hadn't been exercising. But, as soon as I had my normal dose Wednesday night, I felt incredibly good.:iconchibihungaryplz:When it was about a couple of hours before I went to bed, I felt like I had been hit by a truck and extremely sleepy. Got up pretty late the next day. I think that was in combination with the meds and a certain something else, at the same time. I felt really rested at least. And much better than when I didn't have my full dosage.

Since I got up a bit late yesterday, I thought it'd be ok to skip breakfast. So, for lunch I had some oatmeal with raisins and chopped up apricots. That's it until dinner time. In fact, I almost forgot about dinner.:iconwtfukplz:That wasn't very smart. I have to eat enough during the day to sustain myself. (And a certain amount for my meds to work well.) It's no wonder I had a harder time with my walk. I don't even know why I didn't have a small snack or something in the afternoon.

When I went for my walk yesterday, the fog was really thick and low. Couldn't see the sunset this time. The air was really cold too. I've managed to keep up the 35 sit-ups twice a day this week. Next week is going to be difficult, with doing 40 of them twice a day. But I'm going to do it!:iconberwaldplz:With the 35, I can really feel something going on. If I eat a better amount of food than yesterday, I might be able to walk a little more than 2 miles today. But, if I feel I can't, I won't. And maybe what I should do soon, instead, is add in riding my bike a little. I don't know. I'll see what happens, I guess.

Saw the Hana Yori Dango special. It was essentially just a recap of everything that happened during the 2 seasons. But, the characters sat around drinking tea and eating melon, and reminisced about things. Supposedly, this was 4 years later and Makino passed her bar exam, so they were celebrating that. And, Makino and Domyouji weren't married yet. Arashi sang a few of their songs related to the drama. And although the actor who plays Domyouji, Matsumoto Jun (Japanese name order, I might stick to that in the future...) or as some call him MatsuJun, is a member of Arashi, he had to stay in character for it. Made for some awkward, yet hilarious, moments. Still was an enjoyable special for fans. The movie will focus on their wedding. And of course something crazy has to happen. So, I'll watch part of it next week.

Naruto Shippuden finally got back to the current story line. It was at least a few months of 'fillers'. There were a few consecutive ones that looked like it was a movie. So, not even really related. It felt like they were messing with us. But, now they're finally back to the war. Naruto made his way to the front lines, along with Bee. His fights were awesome! He can turn all the white Zetsu clones into trees. (They were originally made out of plant materials, and the cells of the first hokage.) So, they thought that white Zetsu would be able to copy Naruto's attacks, but that backfired. He apparently can easily take out the 'zombies' of powerful ninjas. He also realized that he has to kill Madara. For once he won't try to offer peace. But, Madara is supposedly immortal. So, this should be an interesting showdown.

Since I didn't feel well enough to go to the cafe, like I usually do on Wednesdays, I stayed home. I made my own mocha. A little of the hot chocolate that we got that doesn't taste that great on its own, a little of instant coffee, some sweetener, and some creamer. Tasted awesome!:iconchibispainplz:So maybe that's the only thing that hot chocolate is good for? Also, did a lot of my kanji, played my clarinet, wrote, etc. Sometimes it feels good to stay home instead.

I might finally do my nails today. Haven't done them since Halloween. Might do kind of an electric blue. It's a good confidence booster.

National Strawberry Ice Cream Day!

Mood::iconicelandfukkiretaplz:

Strawberry ice cream is pretty good. I prefer cherry, if it's a fruit in my ice cream though. Strawberries have always been calming to me. So, it is a tasty and calming treat in ice cream form. According to a survey, this flavor is the 3rd most popular in the world.

It's been really cold lately.:iconcoldrussiaplz:Yesterday we had a few snow flurries. But, I have been sticking to my walks regardless of the weather.:iconhongkongplz:And, I think I'm already seeing even more results. For one, my watch is getting looser, my jeans are falling off me, and my shirts seem much looser. There's only one part that's losing at a much slower rate, but it'll get there. (I have a little bit of a belly, still.) Still exciting!:iconchibihungaryplz:

Also this week, I've started doing 35 sit-ups twice a day. I thought I couldn't do it. Especially since 30 seemed so difficult. But, I'm able to get through them. Yay!:dummy:I can really feel something going on in my abdomen/belly area this time. I might add a tiny bit more to my 2-mile walk soon. We'll see. Met some interesting neighbors during my walks. And, I'm apparently encouraging my dad to get out there with me when she's home. The sunsets have been glorious.:iconfrancisplz:Might be because of the weather, but it's wonderful to look at. Kind of thinking of taking my camera on some of these walks. Even if it's just of the sunsets. I live in a pretty area. I love the time most of my walks are at. Makes them really enjoyable.

I'm also still keeping up my new way of eating. Sometimes my stomach protests a bit.:icontinoplz:But, I'm not feeling terribly hungry most of the time. It's more like just making noises. Maybe it's getting used to it or something. I'm not feeling deprived of things at all. I can have whatever I want, but in small amounts. I think it's a good way to go about it.

I'm a little nervous, because my meds aren't here yet.:iconraivisplz:They might come tonight. I probably ordered them later than usual. It's cutting it very close. I can't even have a full dose tonight, if it doesn't come. It'll be close to the dose at least. It would not be cool to go without it. But, I'm going to try and stay calm. At least until the mail comes. I'm also waiting for my 2 new calendars. One's on spices this time. Instead of herbs. Anyways, both the calendars and meds should be there today. We get the mail so late in our neighborhood. Used to be about 12pm. Now, it's around 5pm. (Sometimes, as late as 7:30pm.) But, I did hear that they had to layoff someone, and the person that does ours now has to do twice the work. So, I don't really blame them. Just would be nicer if it was earlier.

Tonight the support group meets. So, that should be fun. Did a lot of editing of chapter 19 of Alliance. And, wrote a bit more. Got back into seriously playing those Klezmer tunes. Sounding much better every time I go back to playing them. I like my new method of playing, too. I'm not breezing through things, and therefore making more mistakes. I'm getting close to 'perfect' on a lot of them. Once I really perfect them, I can work more on those others that I'm still having a little difficulty with. I'll add more to what I play too. But, it'll be slow.

Finished watching Hana Yori Dango 2. There's still a special and a movie, which I'll get to as well. I really liked the ending to the series. The last few episodes made me want to punch the screen, because they added even more drama than needed. Like making Domyouji have amnesia, another girl trying to take Makino's place, his mother still trying everything to make them separate, Makino almost dying, etc. Quite an emotional roller coaster. The last episode was awesome though! I wouldn't mind a marriage proposal like that. It was quite over the top. The movie should be interesting. The special is like the actors getting together and talking about it. (That's what I've read.)

Gintama is back again!:la:They had about 2 months of repeats. Not that I don't mind watching their repeats, but I wanted to watch some new stuff. It seemed Gintoki may have killed off the Shogun in this episode. Just through a game of kick the can. He was trying to hit it as far as he could to buy some time with the princess, so they can find the previous Shogun.

Jets

Mood::iconlietplz:

By Blur. It sounds so simple, yet cool. The only lyrics are 'Jets are like comets at sunset' repeated over and over. It also is probably one of the most Gorillaz sounding songs from them. The sax solo is a bit odd. The bass is amazing. Blur formed in London in 1988. This year, they received a Brit Award for Outstanding Contribution to Music. The main singer, Damon Albarn, along with the artist Jamie Hewlett, created the animated band Gorillaz. From 2005 to 2007 Blur was mostly on hiatus, and that let Albarn focus his attention on Gorillaz. (One of the members left the group from '01-'07.) This album was actually released in 2003. The sessions for it were in Marrakesh, Morocco, and in Devon back in the UK.

I'm feeling pretty crappy. It might be weird to some to read this, but I'm going to put it up anyways.:iconhongkongplz:(It's just what people have to deal with, so I'm not worried too much about sharing it.) My monthly friend is late, and I'm feeling worse as time goes by. If it ends up becoming 2 weeks, I'm going to see someone. I haven't had any weird ones since they gave me an IUD, so this is making me a bit worried.:iconraivisplz:They always say it could just be stress. (Also, adding more exercise and changing your eating habits can mess it up as well.) But, I don't know. Before the IUD, I went for 8 months straight with no breaks whatsoever. I was becoming very anemic. I don't want it the other way around.

I've been keeping up with my sit-ups. And, went on one of my long walks tonight. Didn't go as far as what I'm planning to do regularly. But, I'll eventually get there. The moon was bright and beautiful. Clouds were multi-layered and swirling around the moon. Really nice to see. Also, trying to keep up with my new way of eating too. It's working so far.

Cartoon KAT-TUN, on Wednesday, was interesting. They featured extra scenes from their Okinawa trip. In a way, I think it made it more interesting that it was windy and raining so much. Would have been nice if it was sunny, but they did things they wouldn't have done otherwise. Funny, when they tried to play golf in the rain. (It was like a monsoon type rain.) Also, the shops they visited were very interesting. I kind of want to visit that area now. Probably was their intention...:iconkikuplz:I already want to go to at least Osaka, Kyoto, Tokyo, Sapporo, Kobe, and a few others. But, those are the main ones.

Didn't go to the cafe this week, because I had a psychiatrist appointment. She's so sweet. I told her I didn't like the therapist I tried last time. But, that was the last one on staff who was female. I've gone through all the other female ones. (A lot of the ones I liked have retired or transferred.) Didn't have too many good experiences with male therapists, so I want to stick with the female ones.:icontinoplz:So, it looks like I'll be trying some in Seattle. Sad that there isn't more mental health people on this side of the water.:icongermanyplz:But, my psychiatrist said she's available if I do need someone to at least talk to. She wants to make sure I'm doing well on that front too. Not just the meds. She told me that they cut the time for patients to see a psychiatrist down to 15 minutes. Which is crazy! She always allows more time than that. And, this time it was 45 minutes. Almost the amount of time they give for a therapy session.

Finished watching Perfect Blue, last Tuesday. It was very predictable, and dragged at times. It wasn't the best, but wasn't the worst. It still had it's moments that kept me watching. Turned out Perfect Blue is a doping drug, that they experimented with little kids on a baseball team without them knowing, about 10 years ago. It had horrible hazardous affects. And, it was virtually undetectable at the time. Kayoko's father was going to expose the company who made it. He was murdered to cover it up. But, he left behind a sample of the drug, where no one thought to look. In a stuffed bone that they thought originally was a toy for Masa. I knew what was in it as soon as they showed it. Masa wouldn't play with it, because he knew what was in it, too. (He's a retired police dog. He could sniff out the drugs.)

Watched Hana Yori Dango 2, today. It was kind of annoying this time. Doumyoji and Makino were finally together again. He fell, and got amnesia. The only thing he can't remember is Makino. A girl, named Umi, who was at the hospital tried to befriend Makino. Then, once she saw Doumyoji, she kind of pushed her to the side. When Doumyoji told her that he really wants to remember, she told him to forget about it. That if he doesn't remember, it's not important. She really stepped into Makino's shoes when Makino left homemade cookies for Doumyoji and he remembered something. He said that he remembered he was in love with a girl who gave him similar cookies before, but he couldn't see her face in his memories. He said that Umi must be the person he was in love with, and she went along with it. Rui didn't like her from the beginning. I also suspected something fishy when I first saw Umi. The next episode is the finale. Then, there's a special. Hopefully, he remembers soon, because it's getting really tiring. Even Rui looked tired from it. I still think Rui's a better match.

Wrote a little more of chapter 19 of Alliance, on Tuesday. Hoping to get around to more tonight. I don't know why I've hit somewhat of a wall. I just have to think more about it. Usually my best ideas come when I think lightheartedly about the story. Like what would happen if I do this or that? Ah! I have an idea! And, then I run with it. Sometimes, I can't write fast enough when that happens.:iconsleepygreeceplz:I've been thinking about other stuff lately, so that might be why I'm having a little writer's block.

Got some more info on the New Year's Eve party. Lots of people I'll know, so far. And, sounds like there will be a lot of food. And, with me possibly bringing games, there will be a lot of things to do. Sounds like fun!:iconfrancisplz:

National Pickle Day!

Mood::iconchibicanadaplz:

I love pickles!:dummy:This was actually yesterday, but why not celebrate it again? There's so many different kinds. I really like dill pickles. But, there's also sweet gherkins, relish, pickled bean sprouts, sauerkraut, etc. Today's the Great American Smokeout, and Guinness World Records Day.

My birthday was on the 7th.:party:It was nice and laid back. I got some cake pops from a friend. Never had them before. They were pretty good. There were 3 flavors: birthday cake, coffee and chocolate, and chocolate and cherry. (From what I could make out.) The cake part was still so nice and moist. Kind of nifty.:iconheroamericaplz:

Then, at the cafe (the one I usually go to on Wednesdays), they let me get my drink for free. I got a praline hot chocolate. The barista added a ton of whipped cream and some chocolate syrup on top. It was awesome!:iconitalyplz:

Grandparents called and sang Happy Birthday. That was really nice. Kind of felt guilty because I forgot to call Grandma for her birthday on the 31st. But, she said not to worry about it, and she almost forgot mine anyways.:iconwtfromanoplz:

Had one of my fave things for dinner. Dad made the orange chicken, and some rice. Really tasty!:iconfrancisplz:Had sweet red pepper bruschetta as an appetizer.

On that Friday, I got one of my presents from Dad. It's a book called the Colored Pencil Painting Bible. It's very interesting. The colored pencil art of mostly still-lifes are amazing!:iconchibihungaryplz:So realistic! It guides you on how to make them. I'll definitely be using it soon!

Saturday night we went to the Cheesecake Factory for my birthday dinner. Waited for about 45-50 minutes for a table.:iconwtfukplz:The only thing I don't like about the place. Got an amazing hot chocolate. Then, for dinner the 4-cheese pasta. It had a giant mound of ricotta on top. I thought it was sour cream at first. I despise sour cream, so it threw me off for a second. It was so thick with cheese, it was hard to mix. But, it was amazing!:iconchibispainplz:They always have such huge portions! I can never finish what I get there! Ate about half the pasta. That just meant I had more awesomeness later.

Had a couple of bites of their oreo cheesecake for dessert. They sang Happy Birthday, put sprinkles on the cake, lit a candle that was in a mountain of whipped cream on the side, and wrote Happy Birthday To You in chocolate syrup along the edge of the plate. Had to take most of the cake home. Really over the top stuff, but what do you expect for a b-day thing?:iconthailandplz:It was great!

On the 8th, it marked Rosie's 2nd anniversary with us. Didn't do much to 'celebrate', but it feels like its been longer...She can be a crazy cat. That same day, there was an LGBTQ family dinner. I figured out the buses and the ferry for my way over to Seattle. The mountains were beautiful. But, it was cold and windy on my way to the bus stop. Met up with Dad on the other side, and went to it. The dinner part wasn't very exciting. But, they had information booths, and it was nice to meet a couple of Dad's coworkers. I got some info on Colage. Which is an organization for children of LGBTQ parents. There was a special group through them called Kids of Trans. Very interesting. Signed up for their newsletter already. Nice to hear about other people going through a similar experience.:iconhappychinaplz:

I also got 2 more presents a couple of days ago. One being an assortment of Copic skin color markers. My characters from my story have different skin tones, so this will help a lot. Also, got a new cookbook on rice bowl recipes. There's various Asian ones, but there's also some European and American-inspired ones. They look very tasty, too.

Tried to see a new therapist on Monday. Apparently, the one they assigned to me is transferring in a month. So, I decided I wouldn't bother with her. (What's the point if it's only for a month?:iconhongkongplz:) She helped figure out what therapist might have openings for that day. But, I found out later that I've met the one they told me to try. So, I canceled it before I saw her. Managed to see my psychiatrist though. That was really good to at least touch base with her. Made another appointment to see the last person, essentially, that I could see there. Only one, besides the men, I haven't seen. (For some reason, I've found that guys don't help me as much as the women do.:iconswissplz:) She sounded like she might be nice. So, we'll see.

I've been having a dark/down feeling the last few weeks.:iconlietplz:I was wondering what was going on for a while. Then, I remembered, if my meds are older than 2 months they lose their effectiveness on me. The ones I'm using at the moment are just over 3 months old. It ended up that way, because my new psychiatrist ordered them without telling me last time. So, I still had about a month left of the meds before that. Anyways, I told her this last time and in the future, to not order them automatically for me. And she, luckily, didn't. But, since I'm in this situation, I decided yesterday that I'll order my next batch of meds and get rid of the ineffective ones. Kind of seems like a waste of money. They're pretty cheap, even without insurance, but I still feel weird tossing so many of them.:iconkikuplz:

Hana Yori Dango's getting intense! I kind of think Rui is better for Tsukushi, than Tsukasa. Tsukasa ignored her for a whole year, and then treated her like crap when she tried to confront him in New York. Rui watched all of that happen to her, and has always helped her out. He finally confessed that he's in love with her, but Tsukasa said that he fell in love with her all over again too. Rui doesn't have huge violent temper tantrums like Tsukasa does. And, seems to always look at the positive side of things. But, I have a feeling she'll end up with Tsukasa. (I think, if I remember correctly, in the anime she ends up with Tsukasa too.) I guess I'll see what happens. Maybe it'll be different.

Fairy Tail was interesting. They entered the labyrinth, and managed to pass it. Something like a hundred guilds tried to pass that round. But, only 8 could. Fairy Tail ended up barely making it to 8th place. Wendy and Carla were found unconscious in the palace garden.

In Hitman Reborn, Tsuna met an assassin who specializes in 'playing dead'. Played my clarinet. Did some klezmer tunes and Mozart pieces. wrote a bit more of chapter 19. Went over a lesson from my Japanese book. Almost done with the lessons. When I am, I'll review all the lessons. Also, went over a kanji, and some compounds.
