It was the theme song to the jdrama, I've Been Married to Hell! (I'll probably post it at some point.) The duo have such amazing voices. They were childhood friends, and are from the Okinawan island, Ishigaki. They moved to Osaka after high school, for some music programs. They were brought back together by homesickness for Okinawa and its music. Yanawaraba translates roughly as 'mischievous little kid'. They use Okinawan lyrics, which is rare for mainstream Jpop. One plays the sanshin, the other guitar. They debuted in 2003.
It's been a lot warmer today. Kind of nice.Parents came home late last night. They were both exhausted. They had some weird experiences with the trains. But, other than that, they sound like they had fun.
Mom got me a maneki neko or lucky cat figurine. (Looks very similar to this one.) I've been looking for an affordable one for a while. So, I'm very happy with it.She got it in Chinatown. Kind of funny, she told me there were other Japanese things there too. Literally, maneki neko's a 'Beckoning Cat'. Also called, Welcoming Cat, Money Cat, or Fortune Cat. It's believed to bring good luck to the owner. I read this version, with the raised paw is inviting customers or people. Also, if it's a calico, it's traditionally the luckiest cat of all. The black ones ward off evil and stalkers. White, purity, positive things to come. I have all of those. (Since it's like a family.) Yay!Not that I believe in it, it's just very interesting.
She also got me a shirt saying San Francisco. It looked nice too. They also got a tea sampler, and a tea canister. The only one I haven't heard of before, is the Pouchong tea. Interesting. I might have to try it.
Finished writing entries for my online trip journal. It looks a little plain at the moment.So, at some point I might add some pics and smilies. To kind of jazz it up. But, if people want to see it now here it is: Trip Journal.

I can't believe Purim's coming up. Crazy!Zettai Reido was really intense this time. But, they managed to catch the killer, and save Sakuragi.

It's interesting what people come up with for these. This time it's a South Korean drink with South Korea from Hetalia in it. It's a type of rice wine, they call Yagju or Yakju. Second, a funny drawing of an artist I watch and her workspace done in her style. It even has StupidFox next to her. She has an awesome sense of humor too. Her comics are great. And, I think she's done some flash games that were pretty awesome too. Third, a bunch of Hetalia characters drawn as mochis around a couch. It's pretty funny. Fourth, a lot of the Hetalia characters are 'bustin' out' of someone's canvas on SAI and going out onto their desktop. Cute and funny. Poor Canada.

Well, I think this post is going to be short.I've been cleaning most of day. Things like the dishes, my bathroom, laundry, etc.
Zettai Reido was just sad. Good, but I feel oddly sorry for the killer. His father was the original serial killer 8 years ago. But, then he had a stroke and couldn't kill anymore. So, he abused his son, and made him do the killings.It was interesting that the only thing that linked all the murders was they were seen walking around the same park. And, they had long black hair.
I've Been Married to Hell was really funny, yet touching this time.It was interesting to see her interact with her actual parents. Her mother-in-law helped make both her parents and herself understand each other. I think the mother-in-law knows Kimiko isn't perfect, but she just wants to get to know her more. She has a lot of good intentions, they just end up making the situation harder.
I'm still working on my horoscope in You Maga. It doesn't sound too good.(Like, I'll have bad luck with something.) But, I'll see what the rest of it says. It's kind of a fun thing to work on.

This was really yesterday, but crosswords are fun.I should do at least one later. They keep you sharp.
I haven't been posting lately, because I was trying to catch up on things.And, yesterday I spent the day in Seattle. We went for Dad's hair appointment. Then, to Frye's for something. Next, to Dad's therapy appointment. And, finally, ate at Pho Tai. I had their chicken teriyaki bowl. It had lots of vegetables along with the chicken and rice. Far better than the last place we ate at for teriyaki.Pho Tai's interesting, because they have things like pho, sweet and sour chicken, General Tso's Chicken, teriyaki, katsu, and lots of other Asian food. There's some 'American' food too. I kind of like that it's a mix like that.And, then we came home late.
On Monday, I posted a pic: Flowers Blooming I finally got to write a little! My newest character finally makes her appearance.It's getting really fun to write. I might finish this chapter soon.
In Afterschool Charisma, since the assassins want to kill all the clones, they tightened security. The Queen Elizabeth clone thinks it's odd that she'll never have a country or subjects to rule over. (What's the point in other words, to be a 'Queen'.) The Napoleon clone agrees and says he doesn't have an army. The Ikkyu clone doesn't quite measure up to his original. Although, he is a troublemaker. Those 3 relate to how they died. For Elizabeth it was old age. For Napoleon, he was poisoned. For Ikkyu, he repeatedly attempted suicide. They were trying to figure out how they would die if they followed the same 'fate'. It's a little creepy that they have a Hitler character.
I started Zettai Reido or Absolute Zero. It's about a unit called the Special Investigations Office of the Metropolitan Police Department. They try to solve cold cases using DNA analysis and the latest in forensic science. It's a lot like Cold Case. Maybe a little CSI and Bones in there, too.It may be better than Cold Case in my opinion. It's been really good so far.I like the humor they throw in every once in a while. It's very intense and suspenseful. They show flashbacks, similar to how Cold Case does. The main character even seems like she's there with the victim as it's happening, at some point.Kind of cool.
