By Ketsumeishi. Stay With Me in English. Another great song from this band. I think they might be turning into one of my fave bands. I'll see if their other songs are just as good!  I might like this one more than the previous song. Kind of pretty, and sounds a bit like summer music. 





Today was quite a bit colder. But, I don't think it was too bad.  The next couple of days are expected to be nice. In the low 70s. So, if it's one day out of the next few that's a bit on the chilly side, that's fine with me. Today's supposedly National Catfish Day. When I've tried it, I don't think I really liked it. I was born in the South too!  I should like it. Oh, well. Leaves more of them to other people. Parents went out, and will go to the Pride Shabbat tonight. Hope it's interesting and fun to Dad.  I'm going to try and have my own Shabbat service.  I got Challah and pesto cheese tortellini for dinner. For dessert, I'll have pecan pie. Pecan is one of my favorite pies!  I barely get to have it, since Dad doesn't eat it.  So, it sounds like it will be a nice Shabbat dinner for myself.

Then, I looked around again for possible good comedy mangas to read on Fridays. A couple of weeks ago, I found a couple of possibilities. I guess next week I'll start one of those, since I couldn't find anything else. 


I also played some Irish tunes. I was a little nervous since, since Dad was here also.  But, I sounded pretty good yet again. Next time will be even better! Also, the callous on my thumb's really coming back. Since my thumb pad that supposed to go on your thumb to hold the instrument up wore away years ago; I've been playing without one.  So, naturally the rubbing of the metal on my thumb makes a rather large callous. People can tell when I've been playing a lot because of it.  I kind of like it. Reminds me how much I love playing the thing.  I'm still working on the next sentence in the grill's manual. 


In Naruto Shipuuden, it was just so sad.  They killed off Hinata!  I liked her! Plus, she finally found the courage to tell Naruto how she felt. It was a bit disturbing. I rarely cry, but that scene where she's crawling on the ground to get to him, made me very teary.  Also, a lot of the time in the series, things aren't quite what they seem. Since Pain 'killed' her behind a rock and no one else could see them, including the viewers, I'm not so sure she really is dead.  He mostly did it to get Naruto to go crazy enough, to unleash the Kyuubi's power. It worked in the end. Also, the other ninjas set off on the search to find the real 'Pain'. The next episode should be really awesome!  It will basically be the Kyuubi vs. Pain. 


I played the Roasted Tea Room Escape game, by Sakura. Another strange, and a bit difficult, one. Everything was going smoothly until I got to the code. It's always until then. They set them up that way. That's why they're sometimes annoying.  But, I got the Perfect End. 


I'm done with the erasing process. Keeping some of the pencil marks for the head feathers and feet. I like the effect it gives.  Also, cleaned up some parts. Next, will be the coloring. (Finally!)

By Ketsumeishi. I don't know why I love this song so much.My forbearances for my loans were approved! It means I don't have to worry about paying for the next 9 months. Wahoo!Makes me so happy! None of that every 3 months stuff.I posted 2 more pics on deviantART: Palm Trees More of Veterans' Park After going over a lot of my hard copy Alliance last night (since our cable was out.), I was able to find a few mistakes that would have been hard for me to see on my computer. I'm glad I found them. Also, noticed I didn't describe one of my newer characters when I should have. I was planning to after figuring it out in my separate character descriptions sheet, but never got to it. I thought his description was awesome, so I don't know why I didn't go back to it. Played a lot better on my clarinet today too. 

Jin used to be friends with Jio, and then turned on him when he thought Jio killed his parents. He shows up saying he's hired by Sabaki to kill 'the old man', so he might as well erase Jio's existence. Jin's effect on his O- part, which is a giant jagged sword, is black flames. These flames won't stop until they burn through something. Then Jio and Jin start battling it out. Eventually Jio gets stabbed and the flames engulf him. But, they don't scorch him and they disappear. He changes into 'Satan' though, and sprouts wings. He's about to attack Jin and then Jin realizes, Jio has no memory of being 'Satan' and while he forgives him, his tears stop Satan from killing him. (Something like Jio's still there, only really deep.) But, in the end Jin sacrifices himself to save Jio. Later, the Master of the Thorns (a giant bird) swoops down and carries Sabaki away to eat him.

I went over some listening lessons online, just to see how much I can pick out. Turns out I understand almost every lesson I looked at. That's an awesome sign! Doesn't mean I'll stop working at it, but it's nice to know.Then, I did the first verb form for 合う or au, which was the plain positive non- past form.  (Basically, not the most polite and in the present tense.) 彼らは靴下合うそれドレスね。(Romaji: karera ha kutsushita au sore doresu ne.) Those socks go with (or match) that dress, huh. 

In Fairy Tail, Lucy finds an apartment next to the guild. When Natsu and Happy show up out of nowhere, she shows them her spirit keys. She was hoping to summon a dog spirit to show them how it's done, but got something weird instead. (That's the 'something weird' in the pic.) She makes a contract with it, and decides to keep him as a pet. She calls him Plue. People in the guild usually make their own teams to make the jobs easier. So, Natsu asks if Lucy wants to join his team. She agrees to it. Their first job together is to tear or burn up a book called 'Daybreak' that's in the Duke Everlue's mansion. There's a 2 million jewels reward for it. They find it, Lucy hesitates, and Everlue catches them. Natsu fights and wins against his 2 bodyguards, while Lucy tries to figure out the secret behind the book.

I played Puzzles of Gemland. It's similar to a game called Bloons, only with gems, balls, and a canon. Got old after a few minutes. The other game I played was incredibly addicting! It's called Valthirian Arc. You make your own wizard academy, train, and graduate your students. Over time you gain fame and money. Your students go out on errands, fight monsters, and take tests in order to get a weapon upgrade. There's a lot of different classes for them too. Like, Gunslinger, Duelist, Spirit Mage, etc. They get to choose which one they want once they level up to 10. I managed to graduate about 18 of the students that I made, and had to stop there.

By Ketsumeishi. I don't know much about the artist, but the song is beautiful and has a nice feel to it. Maybe I'll find other songs by them, that are just as cool. :D I slept in because it took me so long to fall asleep last night, and then I didn't want to get up. :P Funny how some nights are that way. I'm still looking for more music for my playlist. I found an awesome database on Japanese artist at Nippop, and joined it. It's so huge, I'm bound to find more for my playlist. ^_^ 


I watched a drama called Distant Bonding on TV Japan. I thought I wouldn't like it, but it was pretty good and interesting. It was about a man who was taken away from his mother in China and brought to Japan. He had a very hard time learning Japanese, and was a part of a class geared towards Chinese people trying to learn Japanese. (I think?) He became close friends with a girl in the class. While all this is going, he writes letters in Chinese to send to his mother. When he finds out where she is, he plans to see her and show her them. He makes it to a university and is famous. His adoptive (?) father has stroke at the end of the episode. Interesting to hear bits of Chinese and Japanese.
