Happy Cinco de Mayo!

Mood::iconchibicanadaplz:

It's celebrated all across the US, and regionally in Mexico. Primarily, in the state of Puebla. In the US, it's a day to celebrate Mexican heritage and pride.:iconchibiamericaplz:In Puebla, it's a day to commemorate the Mexican army's unlikely victory over French forces at the Battle of Puebla in 1862. Mexico's Independence Day is actually on September 16th. Kind of a fun piece of trivia.:iconhappychinaplz:

I don't think I'll make anything 'Mexican' tonight. Thinking of making some Jambalaya, because I'm a little lazy today.:iconseychelles-plz:The Jambalaya's from a box. All I have to do is cut up some sausage, throw in some extra rice, and let it all cook together. Pretty simple and tasty. Have to figure out tomorrow's thing, soon. Since it's Shabbat, we usually make a better tastier meal. (Not one from a box.:iconusaplz:) I think, just for this week, I'll lay off making the dessert.:icontinoplz:Time to give it a little break. So, we'll probably grab something good at the store.:iconfrancisplz:

It was really nice and warm yesterday. Still slightly below our norm. And, today was a little cooler. Are we ever going to warm up to our normal temp?:icongermanyplz:Maybe I shouldn't say that, because it could easily get too hot. Sometimes, there's no transition time from being cold to really hot. It makes it difficult. We live in an interesting area, I guess.

Hana Kimi just keeps getting funnier. Ashiya's brother showed up at the school wanting to take her back to America. He 'disapproved' of her attending in all boys' school and acting like a boy. Sano found out, but is keeping it a secret. Ashiya has no clue that he knows. Nakatsu's character is one of the funniest. He's struggling with the fact that he's fallen in love with Ashiya. He doesn't know that she's a girl. So, he's freaking out over the possibility of him being gay. But, he still likes girls, so he's all confused. I like almost all the characters. They seem pretty well developed already, and I'm only a few episodes in. The aura guy's funny too. With the help of the school's nurse, Ashiya's brother finally agreed to let her attend.
In Naruto Shippuden, it was Sasuke vs Danzo. Danzo had worked with Orochimaru a long time ago. In fact, he was a test subject. He has 10 sharingan eyes on his arm, and some of the cells from the 1st Hokage. His arms are kind of nasty looking. He eventually summons Baku. It devours nightmares, and uses suction. Sasuke set its mouth on fire, after it tried to suck him in. It's a pretty close fight, and both are exhausted. It's a matter of who gives in first now.
In Dear, the group has some fun at the beach. Carol revealed a little more about his past. An orphanage took him in when his parents stopped picking him up from day care. He grew up there. Later, there was a freaky inspector. He would pop up out of nowhere, while people were talking. (Trash cans, walls,  expensive artifacts, etc.) He's there for the squad's annual inspection. He also has an interest in Chiruha, and extended his stay to investigate.

Almost done with that You Maga article on my horoscope. Yay!:dummy:Read a little more of Dune. Lady Jessica's scary. Wouldn't want to make her mad.

deviantART faves: Titan Happy Birthday Toushiiiiiiii Rawr I did not make these! First, an oc from an artist I watch. And, they actively watch me as well. I love the background and lighting. It's character from his manga. Second, a drawing in honor of Toshi's, from Gintama, b-day. Very fitting. Third, a cute drawing of someone's oc.

A short, but nice tribute to China from Hetalia:

A really good tribute to Hidan from Naruto Shippuden. He had some pretty awesome jutsu:
