National Frozen Food Day!

Mood::iconberwaldplz:

Yay for frozen food! It's helpful, can be healthy, and keeps food fresh for a longer time.:iconchibinitalyplz:You can make several meals, freeze them, and just heat them up whenever you want. I've seen some people do that for all their homemade meals. I don't know if I would, because it seems like a lot of prep, and I'd be tempted to eat everything before it hit the freezer.:iconusaplz:We use a lot of frozen vegetables, and most are just as good as getting them 'fresh'. Freezing food is a marvelous invention, and has been around for a long time.

I'm feeling much better.:iconyayhanatamagoplz:The only reason I didn't go for my walks today was because it was pouring rain. It was really windy this morning, as well. Hopefully, it'll let up soon. I'm ok with a little light rain or mist, but downpours plus the wind can be crazy.:iconraivisplz:I did my 50 sit-ups this morning, hopefully I can do my 2nd 50 tonight. I managed to do all of them on Monday, but then I felt really horrible. So, hopefully I can keep them up again! I'm starting over with 50, because I want to ease into it again. The most I've done was 95 twice a day for a week. Hoping to get up there, and further. I usually add 5 sit-ups to both times each week.

Fukuie's been kind of boring.:iconnataliaplz:There's nothing exciting about the cases. I might drop it soon. But, the new season is about to start, too. Maybe I'll hold onto it until then. This season has been kind of bad for both Jdrama and anime. But, next season looks promising. Hopefully, it'd be good. For this coming Jdrama season the possibilities are White Lab, Smoking Gun, Mozu, Border, Alice no Toge (Alice's Thorn), Shinigami-kun (Death G-d-kun. Based on a manga), River's Edge, and Yowakutemo Katemasu (Even the Weak Win). A lot of crime/detective dramas coming up. I like those, when done well.:la:

In Naruto Shippuden, it's still the Kakashi specials. (2 episodes of it this week...:iconohboyamericaplz:) The funny thing is they actually say that in the episode's title, and have advertised in some places that they are fillers. So, when are they getting back to the current story? I'm skipping the ones that are labeled as 'Kakashi Specials'. I watch the previews for the next episodes, though. It appears that they will continue it next week.

Next season for anime, doesn't look all that great. Only 3 of them look interesting. For one, Fairy Tail is coming back!:iconfrancisplz:I'll definitely want to watch that. They'll have designs that are closer to the manga's this time. And, I think one or two of the voice actors were dropped. Should be very interesting. Then, there's apparently a 3rd season to La Corda D'Oro called Blue Sky. The 2nd season was a long time ago, so I'm curious about it. La Corda D'Oro's a music-centered anime. Where it focuses on musicians. It was very interesting. Wasn't the best, but I'm still interested in trying out another season of it. Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei (The Irregular at Magic High School) is the only 'new' one I might be interested in. And, even that I'm not so sure about. Haven't seen much info on it.:iconswissplz:
In Hitman Reborn, it was the battle for the Sky Ring or to be the 10th boss of the Vongola. Tsuna vs Xanxus. The guardians were given a poison, and if they were able to get their corresponding rings (Storm, Sun, Cloud, etc.) the antidote would be administered through them. The problem is the poison paralyzes you, and you feel an overwhelming amount pain that intensifies until you die. Apparently, it doesn't work too well with Hibari, and he was able to, in almost a trance like state, get the ring quickly. The people behind the battles were surprised, because apparently it's supposed to be enough to paralyze an elephant. Hibari's just cool like that. He helped the other guardians. And, they decided to help Varia's 'guardians' as well. Thinking Tsuna wouldn't just let the enemy die. A couple of the Varia guardians fought back, but realized they were no match. (Especially, when going up against a different element.) After a long battle, Tsuna won against Xanxus. (Xanxus is in the pic above.) Xanxus seems to have more feathers in the manga version, or maybe it's that they don't show all of them too often. He's an interesting character, and I kind of feel sorry for him. But, things do get better for him. He was frozen solid at the end of the last chapter I read. Tsuna was able to perfect his Zero Point Breakthrough. It's like the opposite of the Dying Will flame, so it can freeze things instead. Xanxus had fought the 9th before, and ended up being half frozen from it for a while. His scars are from that encounter. But, Tsuna did a much better job than the 9th did.

Wrote more of the 6th short story to my nightmare anthology. I might have finished it this time. I don't get this too often, but I actually felt chills after I wrote it.:iconitalyishorrifiedplz:So, maybe it's just that good. This one left me with a creepy and unsettling feeling, which is probably a good thing. Not sure what the 7th one's going to be about yet. So, that should be interesting. Did more of the writing meme. It feels like they want more of a 'story' for each question, unlike the last adventure one I did. Still fun, though. I can delve more into my characters.
日本語
Studied the kanji . Most of the time it's pronounced as (bu). It means: (suf) department (in an organization), division, bureau; club; part, component, element; category; (ctr) counter for copies of a newspaper or magazine. 部長 or ぶちょう (buchou): head (chief, director) of a section or department; head of a (school) club, head of a (school) team. I'll study more of its compounds next time.
