If the world seems cold to you, kindle fires to warm it.

A quote by Lucy Larcom. Hi! Well, today I did more of my routine. Still didn't do everything, but got most of it done. The first pair of these contacts bit the dust, so I started a new pair. :D It was ok since they were telling me that they would only last 10 to 14 days, and it was 10. ^_^ At services today, the new cantor Laura, was so off in her singing. Mainly, the way she did it. Like repeating things when we usually move on to the next thing. The Rabbi seemed a little frazzled and wanted to rush through things. He talked about how the Rabbi is basically just a symbol in Judaism, and that we all have our own personal communication with G-d. That we technically don't need him in becoming closer with G-d. Interesting. o_O

In reading Gintama, Kondo finally appears. He's the Shinsengumi's leader. He becomes a stalker of Otae after hearing she doesn't care what physical flaws a man has, just what personality he has. I think he backs off a bit, but he's still clearly obsessed with her. Since, Otae doesn't want him stalking her, she tells Kondo that Gintoki's going to marry her. This makes him say he wants to duel Gintoki. Of course Gintoki wins by, as he puts it, being as peaceful as possible. Shinsengumi end up looking for Gintoki. Toshi finds him and duels him as well. Gintoki easily wins. Sadaharu also appears. ^_^ (He's in the picture above.) His name means: Big One. He's apparently a dog G-d. (Hence, why he's so huge!) Kagura finds him and pleads with the others to keep him. As soon as she does this, he ends up chomping down on people's heads. o_O Kagura thinks he's just playing but in reality, he wants to kill her. They're both strong, (Kagura being a part of the Yato clan who are the one of the strongest clans of the aliens or Amanto.) so they're able to 'handle' each other. :P Also, Gintoki's speech about strawberry milk is priceless. :P I ended with the beginning of the hairpen story.

In Naruto Shippuuden, Itachi warns Naruto about Sasuke. When Itachi asks why Naruto feels so attached to Sasuke, Naruto says he feels like he's more of a brother to him than Itachi is. Jiraiya is going to battle the leader of the Akatsuki alone. o_O Kind of stupid if you ask me. Yeah, he is one of the 'legendary Sannin' but it's stupid to do it alone. (The legendary 3 ninjas: Jiraiya, Orochimaru, and Tsunade.) There was awhile of Tsunade and Jiraiya recalling their past. Tsunade talks about how Naruto's father was the Fourth Hokage. (He grew up without his parents taking care of him.) There were many hints of this, but now they finally said it. Apparently, he took his mother's last name, and he resembles her the most in personality. Resembles his father in looks. With his determination, they both think Naruto will become Hokage. Towards the end Jiraiya looked like he was riding off into the sunset; basically looked like they were setting it up like they'll kill him off. I also heard something that they do in the manga. I hope they don't, he's a funny character. He jokes even about death.

Hetalia was pretty funny again. This time Spain (Spain's the character behind Russia in the picture.) was learning how to be a waiter, and was being taught by Germany. It was weird. o_O
Later, Italy sees a shooting star and wishes that England suddenly gets a headache and leaves the area. (They're still at war with each other, apparently. Even though Japan has allied itself with England already, Germany and Italy are still fighting.) Sure enough the star lands in England's head and he gets a headache and leaves. Germany wishes for a million things on a shooting star, and it looks like it'll explode from too many wishes afterwards. XD They go back to Spain's first person to wait on. It's England, who still has the headache. :P He just wanted a quiet place to sit and eat. Spain wants to talk to him loudly and even asks for him to wear a 'shut up' T- shirt. Towards the end, you see England get a really weird frustrated look. Spain asks would you like some coffee. And that's where it ends. XD

もめむ
For Japanese I looked at the mo, me, and mu vocab. (The letters at the top if you can see them.) 木曜日 or mokuyoubi means Thursday. もしもし or moshimoshi is hello if speaking to someone on the phone. 物 or mono means thing. Interesting because alot of words end in mono. 門 or mon is gate. Actually looks like one too. :P 問題 or mondai means question or problem. 目 or me means eye or eyeball. They say if you look to the side of the kanji it's like looking at an eyeball. o_O I think it does once I found that out. 眼鏡 or megane is glasses or spectacles. 難しい or muzukashii means difficult.

For dinner, we went to Hakata. I had the chicken teriyaki rice bowl. It came with miso soup and pickled bean sprouts. Also, we ordered some sushi. For dessert I had tempura fried icecream. (It was similar to the picture above only with vanilla icecream.) It's sooo good! :D It's icecream surrounded by cake and then fried in tempura batter.

We went shopping today too. Trying to find something good for the holidays. I ended up with a purple dress and some purple stone type necklace and jewelry for the eve of Rosh Hashanah. Now, we need to find something for Yom Kippur. I hate trying on clothes though! I get so tired afterwards. :( Also, we watched Milk. A movie about a gay activist. Very well done. Extremely sad at the end too. I like to hear and see things about people fighting for their rights, it's somewhat empowering.
